    - Good: Largest bamboo conservation in Southeast Asia; have many type of bamboo with products made from bamboo in here; can adopt it as your child; free entry and big parking lot. - Bad: Have lots of mosquito because many ponds inside this place; must reservation if you want to eat lunch; have no instructor to let you know more about bamboo; very dirt restroom and quite far from Saigon (1 hour and 15 mins).

The mosquitoes were abundant and ruthless so I suggest that you come covered and prepared with mosquito spray. However if you are enthusiastic about a bamboo collection, you will see several varieties of bamboo.

Far from HCM city (takes over 1 hours), 3 different places around there, have entrance fee 20k VND.

Not too spacious. Various kind of bamboo and look like they're being taken care of. Good place to relax.

The positives: you will see bamboo and it will be free. The negative: no signage or displays to learn anything about what you are looking at or why! Too bad, because it could be a great place to learn.

I would not recommend the place. Almost nothing to see. Where there a woman, at the entrance with a piece of paper in her hand showing us a text in English... where were saying ... there isn't entrance fees to pay, but we will pay 2000vnd for parking the motorbike! I went there with a friend with just one motorbike!!!... and after a short walk, because there weren't anything interesting to see, weren't anyone to guide or to explain about, we returned to the gate, and the same woman claimed 20.000vnd of each and 4000 of each for parking, even there were just one motorbike! So... very bitter taste for this behavior!

Good scenery but a little bit of empty as no one is around to give introductions.

If you are a professional of something, even though the founders had been gone, you can feel their own souls

Just do not come to see the nature! You need to hear the story behind, almost 20 years to build this place. And as every conservation projects, they need support from us, both human resources (as volunteers) and money to sustain the ongoing-research and the staffs who maintain the site for us to visit!
