Truly an amazing restaurant that is worthy of being called fine dining I recommend getting the coursed out menu. I met the main chef and he is extremely friendly. Great environment with good ambiance, fair pricing and beautiful display of food Food quality is on point

Great place, great food, spectacular service. We dropped in based on good reviews and were not disappointed. First off the service was top notch, friendly, genuine concern that you really enjoyed everything and that you received everything you wanted and needed. Rosie waited on us and she was so thoughtful and kind. I ordered the south Vietnam curry chicken and it was the best curry dish I think I have had for years. My wife and my friend both ordered the Sea Bass. The serving of sea bass was large and done to perfection and the flavor was spectacular. They even gave us a free appetizer while we awaited our food. We had 3 beers and a margarita to drink. Total price was ~1.2M VND (~$51) for three people with drinks and dinner, so a little high end for here, but I assure you well worth the price. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and could not recommend this place highly enough. I hope we get a chance to try it again while we are here.

Wow. One of the best EXPERIENCES I've had at a restaurant. The place could've used 3x the amount of garlic to satisfy me, especially with the name. But the staff was perfectly attentive, free appetizer and dessert and welcome drink. They went above and beyond the standard set by the restaurant industry.

I am surprised to find this quality restaurant next to the the Bùi Vien beer street. There was not many customers during lunch time when we were there. The service was excellent and the environment was cosy and quiet. We tried the 4 courses set lunch for 300,000vnd, and it was good. The presentation of each dish was good. Should try.

We passed by The Garlik one evening, it appeared such a cozy place so we decided to give it a try. Wow, i was so amazed by the service. All the staffs were so professional, friendly and confident, that i rarely got in Asia. Even the restaurant located right in the touristic area but the food was very authentic. I really love their mango salad and the grilled pork. We definitely has a wonderful evening here. A must try while you are in Hcmc!

We knew about this restaurant as its part of the hotel we stayed. It has pretty good review on TripAdvisor too, hence we decided to give it a try with some reservation. However to our surprised, the food was great, and do expect excellent service from the team, especially Sophie.

The Best I went with the tasting menu priced at 650k, and was given the option to upgrade my main course. Food was amazing. Ingredients are fresh, taste is premium, and plating is beautiful. I also really appreciate the service. The wait staff were not just courteous, they knew how to read the customers. The first waitress assured me that I could go with whatever main I decided with even after her recommendations. Such small offers make the overall experience an amazing one. Lam was another waiter who served me. He was friendly and was able to hold a prolonged conversation. I enjoyed our exchange and this really made my time here so memorable. Inevitably, the ambience is disrupted by the loud music of the nearby pubs, but the restaurant's pianist makes up for this suitably. Well done.

Excellent service and food! We took the six-course menu which was composed marvelously. Fresh ingredients and very good preparation. Staff was extremely friendly and caring. Even the restaurant-manager stopped by for a short chat ;-). Live music was a bit too loud and the musician did not have the best of days, still Highly recommended!

I have travelled Ho chi minh city for 3 days with my family. The day when we went to "the garlik" was our second day of the trip. We searched some nice place to have great dinner with excellent atmosphere before the trip. We found the garlik and it was really good place to go indeed. Every person who serves food was so kind and they speak English well so we didn't have difficulty in communication. And our server "Rosie" cooked us some dessert made of mango on the spot. It was very nice to have not only adults and children.  I would like to thank her, albeit belatedly, for her excellent hospitality.If you're looking for a nice restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, I highly recommend this place.

The staffs were very friendly and introduced many nice foods to us. The foods were delicious and didn't disappoint us. Highly recommended! Definitely will come again if visit to Ho Chi Minh City in next time😀

The Garlik provides the best dining experience in the Ho Chi Minh city. ROSIE was our sever. She was welcoming and kind, introducing us the details of the food. The food there was the best and the most creative one! Highly recommended!
