Came for breakfast with so much expectations for the place. Turns out to be a boring restaurant. Boring set up and boring foods with not much variety to choose from. Prices are a bit high for the quality and portion of foods. It’s not so bad but just not worth the money. Ordered 2 soft boiled eggs but the eggs arrived in unshelled while still very hot. The moment you shell them, they’re already hard boiled eggs! Ordered a Norwegian egg breakfast but it came more like eggs benedict with a little bit of salmon and rocket salad. Had to ask for the brunch menu and there almost nothing to eat for breakfast but still not much variety. Had the dumplings. So-so. Sorry but all in all, not a good value for money. This used to be a wonderful place though 6 years back. I think they should keep up with the other new restaurants. Service is ok though with English speaking staff.

Amazing food, great service and a nice ambiance. The weather is great and the view is stunning. The prices are high but it’s normal for a fancy restaurant.

It's just about average, no more. Nice view of the dirty and polluted river, and as I visited for brunch it was clear that it would be a better experience for dinner or to go out for cocktails at night, as there was a substantial bar area that was closed off at lunchtime. Food was reasonable but nothing special, and service was below average. I had to get up a few times to ask for something, that's not a good sign of service. I don't think it's worth a brunch visit, perhaps it's better at night but I'm doubtful.

Except steak, everything is good. Steak is dry and not delicious at all, besides waiter there even didn’t ask how would you like your steak to be cooked.

I took my wife here for our dating dinner. The food is below expectation, however the place is very beautiful and romantic. It is a little bit hot so they should provide some shade like tree. They should have some picture on the menu as well. The choice are not many for people who like cooked food since they only have raw seafood for the salad😥.

Great place by Sai Gon river with beautiful view. Perfect for sunset and I must say that the staff are very friendly and helpful. Please book a table if you want to have the best seats.

Great location, great food, great staff. Located on the river in district 2, The Deck offers fine dining in a beautiful location. The food is delicious and the wine list is impressive. Good service from friendly staff. This is.my third trip to Saigon and my third trip visit to the Deck. A call out to Bâo and Andrea for their great service.

Really beautiful spot, the owners have done an amazing job on the atmosphere and service, felt like we were back in Sydney! The prices are also up there with Sydney prices, so a bit of a shock after a month in Vietnam to be honest but the food and drinks were high quality.

One of my favorite places to eat in the world. I’m not understating it to say that that is a must visit for every traveler. Eat while ships slide past on the Mekong delta. This entire location, food, drink and experience is a blast. Turn up in time to see the sun go down for best effect. This was my 4th time eating here and I will be back.

Nice place to be in. During our visit, the Saigon river was at its high tides. the river flows really fast.. Weather was slightly warmer.. ordered ice cream sorbet and chocolate cake..melted faster then usual…

Edit 2 (bc i cannot reply to the restaurant's reply lol): The Deck has addressed the situation promptly and proceeded the refund after 1 day. I appreciate that. Tbh, we were talking with our friends and recommending them The Deck while we sat at the bar, and we realized there was something wrong with the bills lol. Anway, the service, food and drinks in the restaurant deserve the 5 stars, we really appreciate the girl who took care of my table and made our anniversary date memorable. I will edit the rating as 3 to 4. Edit: we suspended the transparency of The Deck. We got 2 bills wrong: 1 for the restaurant and 1 for the bar. we realized that the restaurant overcharged us for the set menu (2.5mil for 2 sets, 1 mil 150 / set, vat not included). Later, they agreed to refund the gap and explained that the price of the set was wrong on the system. We were so surprised, did it happen only to us tonight? Or how many customers they overcharged because the customers didn’t notice? We didn’t notice when we paid as well and only realized the gap when we relaxed in the bar. AND they overcharged us AGAIN when we were about to pay for the drinks at the bar. They added the drinks that we didn’t order. They added the crisps (althout it’s free on the bill) even though they didn’t serve ?? It was so difficult for us to waive for the staff at the bar as well. No one noticed us, totally destroyed the good experience we had in the restaurant. ____ My original review: We ordered Tết’s chef table, and it turned out to be a very good dining option. The portion was enough for 2 people (1 male, 1 female). High standard of service, high quality of food and drinks. Staff was thoughtful and supportive, they took care of us well. There was music but not too loud 👍 we enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere here. Highly rcm.

Gorgeous views of the river. Definitely an “out of Saigon” feel, make sure to reserve ahead of time for riverside seating/sunset happy hour. 50% off of all alcoholic drinks on the menu for happy hour. Food tastes fine and comes quickly when you order. Servers don’t come to your table to ask if you need anything, or to ask about next orders. You need to flag them down for any service, which is fine if you know you need to do that. Great music, and ok tasting cocktails but lacking in flavor and “punch.”

It's a fabulous Riverside restro pub in Thao Dien. Diverse food and drinks menu. It has a premium lounge feel with the river view. Riverside tables needs to be reserved by FB or direct chat. I recommend to visit during sunset time.

Ambiance is wonderful. Beautiful scenery and landscaping. Very clean and comfortable. Food choices are nice and fairly priced. What is missing is mature customer service. You have to hunt the staff down, they don’t have the training to know when the customer is ready and when to check on them. It wasn’t just our table, but most tables. The staff needs empathy and better customer service training. Once they have that, then it will be a superb dining experience.

Got a date? This is a 10/10 place for your perfect evening. Soothing music, amazing view, an even amazing sunset, and delicious food. The staff will always greet you with a smiling face, and even before you have to take your eyes off your date, they will be right next to you for any assistance Loved the food, loved the service, and loved the ambiance. It is a little expensive, but that's a fair price to pay for what this place offers.

Had breakfast on a Monday morning. Breakfast menu has a lot of egg and western savoury options and a few lighter options as well. I came for the view and modern interior and was pleasantly surprised that the food quality was actually very good. Servings were European sized and service was fast. Very friendly staff. Laid back stylish atmosphere, great to watch the freight feeders sail by. Clean restrooms. Premium priced and quite far out of town, took us a while to find a grab. However it is in the same direction as the airport so good place to have a meal before you fly.

Amazing fine dining experience. Big parking lot for both motorbikes and cars. Service was impeccable. Food was on point and worth the price. The atmosphere is unique if you can get a river-side seat during sunset. Overall I highly recommend it!

Been wanting to visit this restaurant since pre-covid and finally got to celebrate my birthday with friends here. Communication with staffs via email has been smooth and effective. Dinner service was incredible and overall we had a great time. We ordered quite many dishes to share and mains individually - eggplant, calamari, beef steak, lamb racks are exceptional but the sea bass was overbooked (overbaked) and dry. However, would absolutely come back again next time when I travel to Saigon again

Between the strategic view of the river, the smart and natural interior decor, delicious food, and great service, anyone can feel the professionalism of this establishment. The dishes are all so flavorful and plated beautifully to make justice of the flavor. The same goes for all the drinks (both alcoholic and not). To top it off, the service is good and very attentive staff.

We had a nice lunch at the deck. Food and service are perfect. The team took a good care of us and made sure we had a nice time at the restaurant. Had a riverside table and enjoyed panoramic views of Saigon river was fantastic. We will def visit it again.

Wow! What a wonderful place. The price is a bit high, but the food is delicious and staffs are friendly. They saw my cake and knowing that it was my birthday today, gave me a complimentary dessert. The best restaurant where you can enjoy food while looking at the riverside, and even the restroom is very beautiful! If I have more money I would like to go here everyday. p.s. One unfortunate thing is that the variety of drinks is very diverse, but the variety of food is a bit small I think.

If you want to enjoy eating at a fancy restaurant, you can have it here since the view is lovely and the food looks well-decorated with good service. But if you just want to have a tasty meal, I recommend eating at somewhere else since it’s quite expensive here and the food isn’t suitable for Asian’s taste buds. (P/s: make sure to reserve your table as soon as you can starting at 8AM to secure your table near the river view)

I am a long time, repeat customer at The Deck. It’s saved as a favourite but unfortunately the post covid visit might have it removed. 1. My French press came 1/2 full 2. Have a look at the side order of Bacon! 3. My wife is pregnant and requested fully cooked eggs, only to received 1 cooked and one runny 4. Mine on the other hand were supposed to be poached but unfortunately hard 5. General flavour of the eggs benedict was lackluster All in all, beautiful setting but for the price, I would suggest it has taken a major step backward.

Not good as expected! We tried one chef's table for two. But except for the course below (I don't remember the name), the others were nothing special. The service quality was not appropriate for the fame of this restaurant. The staff did not introduce dish names while serving. When we asked, she of course did not know what that was and just answered in uncertainty. Hope they'll improve. The view was normal, maybe it would be better if we visited in the daytime.

The oysters were ok. The deserts are fabulous and tasty.

Great atmosphere with fresh air from the river. Booking is preferred to get seats outdoor. You should take there by boat before sunsets and can be back to the city centre by taxi or grab... foods are EU / Latin America taste, delicious and kids can enjoy it... a beautiful bar right in the yard...
