O'Briens Factory (Irish Bar)

Bar Irish pub

👍 Not quite an Irish Pub. No Guinness on the tap is served. Just draught in the can. That's alright, still enjoying it. Close proximity to Intercontinental is the plus. People often mention Irish, good, beer, Guinness, great, friendly,

Went for St. Patrick's Day. Food was really good and service good even for being so crowded.

Came here for dinner recently . As expected with an Irish pub the setting, ambience was quite traditional. After having many different nationality foods for the last week or so my Pal and I decided to try something closer to British tastes. So he had a Cottage pie which was devoured quickly and said it was great. I had the fish and chips made with local Seabass and it was lovely served with traditional tartare sauce. All in all a great meal with no room for dessert as we got quite full.

Nice irish bar. Bit more expensive than most places in Vietnam but the produce and drinks are better quality. Staff were very attentive. Food portion sizes could be bigger. Food was delicious but left feeling hungry.

My favourite bar in district 1. Wide range of whiskey, of course other alcohol as well as a small selection of wine carefully chosen by the owner. Although a bar, their food menu is great if you're looking for comfort food, from bangers and mash to spaghetti Bolognese. Their Pizzas are among the best in HCM city. And service is good, the owner who is always present make sure of that.

50k VND for a water. Don’t waste your time here - not a real Irish bars in the city are much better. Food is not very good either. I will never return

A well appointed bar and good sized food portions, but shamrocks hanging from the ceiling and some pics on the wall do not make an Irish pub. I'd say the owner knows little or nothing about Ireland. I passed on the over €8 can of Guinness, the only Irish beer, which wouId work out at nearly €200 a carton.

Nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Saigon. You walk in and you feel like you are in the Western world. Didn't try the food but football, tvs sports bar atmosphere can't go wrong if you need a little home feel for ex pats.

Nice pub in saigon. Good quality western food and cold beer for ok prices (when comparing to similar spots). Owner always open for a nice chat. Update 7/2022: Food not as good as before the pandemic but still a nice spot.

Great service. Staff are very attentive, clean facilities, good food and drink. Not for Non-Smokers. Sorry, but you will smell tobacco smoke after your visit. There's a pool table on the second floor. Party on!

First visit to this bar. Don't expect a Guinness, but the Pasteur Street Irish Stout was acceptable. Decent food menu. Beef Lok Lak was tasty. Really attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Update....you can get a draft can of Guinness at VND 200K

Had 2 nights over last weekend watching F1 and the All Ireland - lovely people - quiet I guess but maybe not many Irish in Ho Chi Minh city usually. We may have reduced their stock of Greywhacke - NZ Sav Blanc - bar food good - a late pizza.

Nice place to have a drink with friends. Issue was air conditioning not up to comfortable level. Very warm close to the entrance.

Love this bar. It’s dark and cold and plays western music. If you live in Vietnam and want to escape for a minute, this is a good place to come.

Returned here after an absence of 20 + years, and not disappointed. A beautiful cosy friendly Bar with great Staff and impressive display of drinks. Its not changed a bit which added to the delight of being back. Long may it thrive.

The O'Briens Factory (Irish Bar) is a delightful establishment that perfectly captures the essence of Ireland. The cozy ambiance, delectable Irish cuisine, and friendly service create an inviting atmosphere that keeps you coming back for more. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or simply looking for a lively spot to enjoy a pint, the Irish Bar and Restaurant is the perfect destination for an authentic Irish experience.

If you don't smoke, be prepared to be eating food and someone will smoke a cigarette next to you whilst you're eating. This place deserves 5 stars if they had a dedicated smoking area and those who wish to eat don't have to worry about a nose full of cigarette smoke whilst eating.

Not so crowded this time. Stout is very good. Love the free pool games :)

A nice hole in the wall. Good food and beer from Pasteur on tap. The hanging paper shamrocks and Guinness adverts on the wall made the place feel more like a normal bar on St Patrick's day than an Irish bar. Good place, nonetheless....

quiet bar with good food, had the latest sports on. wouldn't go here for a full on atmosphere but it was good to enjoy a quiet beer to collect thoughts amd move onto next spot. noted i was there around 7pm, it could improve after that atmosphere wise. friendly staff

Nice atmosphere. However, I have never tasted Jameson with such fire. I don't believe it was Jameson. Guinness with a Jameson back is my standard. The last time I tasted whiskey like this was from the hotel room refrig in Shanghai. How can an Irish bar do this ????
