When I booked my Grab here, the local driver told me that it was against their buddhist culture to name a bar "Buddha". As surprising as it sounded, he went on asking if it was a place full of hookers and/or drugs. Both of us were taken aback when we arrived there because the Bar itself was very spacious, and it looked like a decent drinking business setting with two pool tables, and a piano. Plus, the entire place was air-conditionered. I had one Tequila shot, some beer and some funny thing that knocked me down in a good way. It was a quiet night of my own celebration, a group of singers by the piano and 4 professional amateur pool players. They have their own official page on Maps so make sure to check it out for their events. Easy access, reasonable price given it's located in an expat community.

Just a quick pint Good sized crowd in for a midday Saturday afternoon and nice decor in the pub. Served fast and efficiently. Was amusing to see the pool sharks playing, the tables pretty much take centre stage in the bar..... problem is they just are not that good or interesting.....you know they are rubbish when you see them with the gloves and their own cues....FFS, its pool..... clowns. Problem is they kind of take over the whole bar........

5 stars for the best Indian food in D2 and possibly HCMC! The curries are delicious and come with any level of spice you like. The chicken tikka is excellent, as are the garlic naan’s! The chef is Indian so stick with the Indian food and you can’t go wrong! The venue also offers cheap beers and multiple screens for watching sports. The front bar is more open and airy, the back can get quite rowdy on the weekends. There are also multiple pool tables and other bar games such as darts and shuffleboard.

Honestly the venue is nice. And the same goes for the staff! It's the customers who hang there that just aren't my cup of tea. If you like rowdy, drunk, white trash expats... You're gonna LOVE it. And it's been like that EVERY single time I visited it so it's not like I went there on the wrong night

The Indian food is indeed really tasty here. The place just smells like old cigarettes however. The service was efficient and nice. Edit: Came back a second time and the middle age Viet female waitress whose English name could be 'Jessica'? was super rude. The first thing she did was gave me an up and down scan then proceeded to ask about my order with very aggressive body language and tone in Vietnamese. The whole time she gave me dirty looks like she doesn't want to serve me, an asian female customer. She then turns around and smiled and bowed down to the other old white men customers. I asked what her problem was and she said I look south east Asian and kept pressuring me to tell her where I'm from. Lol that's none of her business? I'm your paying customer and deserve to be treated equally. This kinda behavior is disgusting to favour only white customers. Quite frankly the place smells like an ashtray and the vibe's awful. Will not be back.

Great place to hang out with friends play pool or darts, got good food and live music. The staff is very nice and service impeccable , also got sports tv.

With the buzz of having a Indian menu at BB tried out this place with my friend. The Indian chef is really humble and kind enough to come to our table and make some recommendations. First time had a meal at BB and really impressed with the food quality and portion. Perfect bar bites if you like some spicy food to munch while sipping a beer. Also tried a Pizza with extra cheese which was good as well. PS - When ordering Indian food make sure to check the spicy level you want.

i was there 2 weeks ago , until now i don’t know what i did wrong to have bad situation like this . a girl throw big glass of beer right in my head , after that i don’t remember anything 4-5 foreigners people was helping me to hospital when i fall in floor with bloody alot. Now i find out i have blood in my brain and i have to do very important surgery next week , all those great people was helping me to hospital all of them said bar owner was there security also there but they didn’t do anything to help. please tell me why ?

Horrible and rude staff besides a few. Great music and great bar but one specific staff members ruins the entire night for you. Honestly bought a tourist group here and wouldn’t do it again based on one persons service.

Great place.. air-conditioned.. pool table, other games, lots of live sports. Staff are friendly clientele are chilled. Food is nice, beer is cold and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a sports bar in HCMC, this place is well worth a look ;)

If you like it loud and smoky, this is the place for you. Not only that you can not talk to your bar neighbor. Also the staff behind the counter does not understand you and brings you the wrong drink. Kindly, this was not charged! Otherwise, smoking is allowed which has partly really restricted the view. Prices are ok.

Its getting older and dirtier. But the vibe is still there and the activities are still fun like before. The staffs are bored. Not happy with their jobs. A sign they are underpaid.

Great pool table and cue’s. Also got a shuffle board and darts board, certainly plenty of entertainment options for a drink, we really enjoyed it. It is also open relatively late.

There are live bands that plays there and the activities and games are really fun to enjoy with the background music and the seating are very nice and clean

Buddah is actually a great bar, with good service, reasonable prices, and a fun vibe. If you are a non-smoker or don't enjoy a cigarette smoking environment, this probably isn't the place for you though. And while this is still a very common complaint here in Vietnam, there are much better, more non-smoker friendly venues.

Playing live rock music, I felt like I was at a karaoke night with all the greatest hits. Where else can you hear live renditions of nirvana songs, cranberries, oasis and many more in Viet Nam?

Very good bar to hang out with a very good ambience. The Indian dishes are very tasty. The chef is doing amazing job. Samosa was really very good taste.

Super busy specially on the weekends. Filipino band is also great, There's just a funny smell when you come in, can't point it out but its pretty weird. But when you stay inside for 5 minutes, I guess you just got used to the smell. Service is just okay, I guess because there are a lot of people and they get super busy.

Nachos...can't taste anything n chips were old. Wine is reasonably priced.

Best indian food in HCM. You will enjoy great service...the indian chef came to see if we liked his cooking....we told him we been all over the world and his cooking is amazing...best indian food.
