Im a whisky drinker and they definitely had a wide selection. Prices were def up there. Ambience was ok but not to my taste. Bartenders were knowledgeable...guess it just wasnt for me.

Great drinks. However, space can be limited simply because the bar is small and food on offerings were simple quick bites. The highlight of the bar are their drinks offering, from cocktails to whiskies.

I don't know why my review has been removed... But this is one of my favorite Whiskey bars in the city. I am happy and somewhat surprised by how popular this place is among young Vietnamese. The Whiskey list is endless... The service is attentive and speak English. The atmosphere is on point, but it can get noisier than what you'd expect. Well, more success means more noise. And as you might suspect, it is not the cheapest place in town. Oh, I also love their cheese toasts (or whatever it is called). But they changed the cheese a year or two ago. The cheese is less sharp compared to the old recipe. Good, but really not as addictive as it used to be... I hope they'll change it back! Anywho, great place! Highly recommended! I mean, no, don't go please... Keep it quiet :P

Didn’t even look at the menu and asked for something to go with a cigar I chose for the night (separate room for smoking). Incredibly accurate pairing and a cocktail that was a new enjoyable experience for me. This is a top notch bar everyone must visit.

I was into the vibe, however, I was not finished my night yet. And the waitress, named Tuyet Anh came to my table and asked me to leave the seat for another cigar smokers. Surprisingly, there was no cigar smokers as she mentioned, I came straight to confirm with her, this is a lie to my face. She was asking us to leave ours seat :) is this the way you treated your familiar customers? I’m out! Not gonna come back! A strong no recommended for anyone.

If you're on a learning journey on whisky, then you gotta Firkin come to Firkin's! Place is a gem! Seats are limited and if you're planning to visit like on weekends or peak days then make a reservation as seats are limited. But was a enjoyable experience for a whisky N00b like yours truly... Will be back Firkin!!

Even it is located on Mac Thi Buoi street - center of District 1 but it can be considered as a hidden bar. Cozy atmosphere, classic decoration, chill music, outstanding cocktails paired with nice finger food. Honestly everything is perfect for an evening chill out. The best cocktail bar in Saigon so far

Excellent and highly recommended cocktail and whisky bar. Top tier service from unique and fun bartenders featuring tailored expressions from each on the menu. Alongside a diverse selection of all types of whisky, most notably Scotch and Japanese whisky. All was reasonably priced with the option of half pours. The atmosphere and vibe was also very high class and distinct. Do visit if you're a cocktail or whisky lover, or if you just want the sleekest place in town to have a drink.

These folks do cocktails on a superb quality level! You wouldn't find any cheap and sweet pina coladas or similar, but instead they serve high class whisky sour, old fashioned, manhatten, etc. The interior is also very atmospheric and tasteful

This is a cocktail bar with a classic decoration style, If you’re ready for a little fun, let's come here for well-priced cocktails and delicious flavors 🍹. Surrounding you are friendly and professional bartenders, and staff. BUT there are not many dishes on the menu, mainly light snacks. (Crispy fried pork skin is really not nice at all). Basically, this is the place to come to enjoy Cocktails, if you are looking for delicious dishes, there is NO.

Discreet entrance.. just a small wooden door that leads up to a very nice and cosy bar. They have a very special whiskey cocktail menu where each bartender has their own take on the classics, so plenty of return value if you like the place to try each one out, or come with friends! Friends were raving about the bacon, so do try, its nice and crisp, yet not dry. :D

Beautiful bar with a large selection of whiskies. Service could be better improved though. A little hard to find but that’s the point!

Small but great place for cocktail, wide variety of choices and combination, I like the way they let you pick your favorite Whiskey, Flavor, Bitter to make your own Whiskey Sour, been there several times and they never fail to make me a perfect drink, good to go alone or with friends.

This is Dram and Racha Room's sister bar. Similar concept and same branding across. Nice chill lounge with solid drinks and cigars. Location is okay. There was super loud construction going on at 11pm. And the place gets a little loud at times. Still a fine spot to meet with a friend, date night or networking with industry friends.

The hotel is under rated. Should be at least be a 5 star. The design of the large room with separate standing and long bath is found in 5 Star hotel. Even the public toilet has cotton towel to dry your hands. The hotel has a panoramic view of the city and Mekong.

Lovely bar with great cocktails. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Happy hours helps

Lovely and cozy speakeasy located in the center of Ho Chi Minh city. Broad menu of classic and original cocktails, great atmosphere, amazing bartenders, comfortable bar chairs from which you can see how yours (or any others) cocktails are made. If you're in Saigon - pay a visit to this place, sip your cocktails and enjoy the evening.

I so love the atmosphere they build here, the environment is very fashion and comfortable. The Matini is so good that was probably the best I had ever had, definitely the top recommendation bar in HCMC so far.

This bar has a cozy hidden vibe that I really like. Also, unlike other whiskey bars, they have a selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks that are quite nice and carefully attended to. The staff is pretty friendly and attentive. Would recommend it for casual hang out or dating. Me and my friend checked it out on a random rainy Monday night and it was more crowded than we thought! One of the first hidden bars in Saigon but they surely have lived up to the name and maintained the quality pretty well over time.

Sooooooo good, with cocktail and staff, especially Ngoc which has very service mind and very take care of customers. Good place to visit in Ho cho minh. Don’t miss this place!!

Great bar! Bartenders are fantastic. The menu is extensive, but we also ordered a couple of classic cocktails (penicillin and blood & sand) not on the menu and they executed perfectly. Notably, there was no one smoking in the main bar area. I’m not sure if that is how it is set up but it was very nice. We arrived early in the evening and easily found a seat, by the time we left at 10:30 the place was very full.

My bartender Truong made me a custom drink based on my tastes. We communicated in English as I am from US. He also made me a drink based on my request of some Vietnamese herbs and I was very pleased by his creative choice of star anise commonly used in pho... Staff was also very accomodating as they Grabbed my credit card (it happens) to my hotel in a red envelope to be discreet (tet new years). 😅 Smart! Highly recommend!

Overall a nice experience for a chill night out but probably would never come back For drinks I ordered Fine & Danny which is sweet and easy to drink, this drink would be suitable for girls like me who has very low alcohol tolerance. The decoration of the drink was very cute also, the piece sticked to the drink was harden melted sugar. What was funny is that it will melt as you left it like that and it will eventually fall off 😂 It was my first time visited this bar so it was a little difficult find it because the door was very small, which explains why everybody calls it “hidden bar”. The ambiance at first was nice and cozy but as the night goes on, more customers came in and the bar became too crowed and noisy that you can barely hear each other talking. The service was nice too, the server helped me find the best seats for 2 ppl and the bartender asked me how was my drink (i guess because my drink was launched recently). I was impressed by now nice and clean the toilet was too, they even offered cleaned towel to dry your hands. The price I believe is a bit pricey conpared to the drinks and space you get, the bar was not very big. What I don’t like about this place is their slow response on Facebook and how they charge their service. When I make a reservation via facebook, they don’t even confirm that the booking was successful so I have to ask them again if it was successul, such a wasting time for both 😐 and when I receive the bill, they charge 8% more for 5% of service charge (which is odd to me??) and still keep 10% for tax (even though vietnamese government already announce the updates since July). I did feedback about this via facebook but I guess they never care as they never response 🤷🏻‍♀️

Amazing find! Just a little non-descript wooden door leading up the stairs to such a cool Whisky bar! Choose your Whisky, choose your flavour, choose bitters... Boom...amazing Whisky Sour! Of course you can opt to have a straight Whisky or on the rocks or any which way you prefer. So many great options! We definitely will be back!!!

Whiskey bar in town. I love the cozy atmostphere here . However, It was too noisy, some customers they do not know how to catch the vibe there and talk so loudy. For that i only put 4 stars instead of 5

One of my favorite whiskey bars in the city. Many varieties of whiskeys to try. Their classic cocktails are excellent as well as their signature versions of them. Do keep in mind that the price is higher here.

The best bar in Saigon and could easily be a top place in major places like Manhattan. The concept is really nice, their menu features 6 classic drinks and different variations of how to make them from all their bartenders. Their other cocktails are also delicious. All other bars we tried make their cocktails too sweet! We basically came here like 4 times in 2 days.

Nice atmosphere, dark, quiet and intimate. If you want beers it is not the right place. Here you get cocktails or liquors. It is expensive but the quality is also here.

It’s difficult to find a good cocktail bar in HCMC. Most places either make the drinks too sweet, or they skimp on the alcohol. Let me be frank, I want a solid buzz from two cocktails. Three should be too much. I don’t want a sugar crash without the drunk. I don’t know why this is so much to ask for, but apparently it is. Firkin is the outlier, a true, authentic, NYC style cocktail bar. It really feels just like back home. I was shocked at how excellent it is. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Just go. Visit now.

A speakeasy gentlemen's bar. Prices are steep as compared to many places in Saigon, however, the cocktails recommended by the bartenders are worth the price. When you enter, it feels like you're brought back to the 1920s with brown hues and leather couches. Would definitely go back again!

Very cozy, hidden whisky bar/speakeasy. There’s a door with a f at street level and a steep flight of stairs up to the bar. Western prices for western drinks. I had a couple of Laphroig 10 years which totaled $25. Service was nice.

A hidden gem. Was looking for a place to take my whiskey-loving husband for a happy hour tipple. Came across this online, had good reviews so thought we'd give it a shot. Will definitely be returning. Very hidden, cool, relaxed. Great music. Most of the seating is at the bar, which I liked. You get to watch the bartenders (who were all very knowledgeable and friendly) at work. We both had whiskey sours, albeit with different garnishes. Top marks.

The drinks are great yet the price is lower than expected

I'll start by saying this is a great bar. I love the atmosphere. I love the team. I love the bottle selection. I love the menu. The atmosphere has this rustic feel that kinda reminds me of Ginza cocktail bars. But. Bigger. Comfy chairs. Wooden bar counter. Classical or jazz music playing in the background. Most of the team are only a few months in their tenure. They're a curious lot who does excellent service. My Vietnamese is bad so sadly I cant remember their names. Their menu is pretty friendly toward newbies. Each bartender has their own version of classic drinks. You can also build your own classic drink. But of course you can just request for you own drinks even if they dont know the drink. I look forward to going here again.
