👍 The broth soup at Pho Hung is exceptionally delicious. However, I found the beef a bit tough. Despite that, I would still come back for their amazing soup. The combination of their superb broth and inviting ambiance makes Pho Hung a worthwhile dining experience. Recommended order the raw beef Pho. Tasty pho, love the soup /broth. Free vegetable, lime. Really good taste. Be mindful always to check your bill/invoice as it may have difference from what you order

Came recommended from social media. It did not disappoint. Noodles were al dente, broth was light but tasty, flavorful and the beef slices were soft. Affordable too ! A good choice for those who wants to try authentic pho.

There's a plethora of the ubiquitous Pho joints in Saigon, and a huge amount in the tourist heavy areas. There's also a variety of Pho styles, which are very different according to each region. I am not a local nor have I eaten enough to add to the debate of which one is the best. All I wanted was a really good bowl of beef Pho, I knew I didn't want to have a bad one. After some research and recommendations from locals I decided on Pho Hung over the other well known Pho places. I walked here from my hotel in District 1, which was 30-35 minutes. I could've taken the Grab bike and done it in 10 minutes. I wanted to work up an appetite and explore more of the city on foot. When you arrive, grab an empty seat. The menu has English, so it is very easy to order. I went for the large Pho Hung Dat Biet (house special with all the toppings, 90k VND), and cold Tiger beer. Service is FAST! My bowl of pho arrived less than a minute after I ordered, I am not exaggerating. The word fast food comes to mind and they would KFC and McDonald's to shame with their speed and efficiency. The bowl of Pho came topped with all the beef cuts and also the off cuts, and some beef balls. I was quite hungry and the large was just right. I probably didn't need the beer but wanted something very cold after the long walk. One thing I really liked was that they blanched their beansprouts. I'm not a huge fan of raw beansprouts, but I do like blanched beansprouts so that was a winner for me. Add in all the herbs, squeeze in some lime and add chillies to taste and dig in. It was a lovely bowl of beef Pho, sweet, rich and very hearty. All the toppings were cooked very well and very tasty. As I mentioned, this place is less well known than the other Pho joints, and probably due to it's out of the way location. There were some tourists here but 90% of the customers were locals. This place should be on your list of Pho places to try.

Best bowl of Phó I've had and a must try in Ho Chi Minh!!!! Service was quick and efficient. The menus have English (and even Korean) translations so ordering is a breeze. They offer two sizes, small and large--definitely opt for the large as the small portion seems to be meant for kids, haha. You get plates full of herbs, peppers, and limes to garnish your bowl. As usual, cash only payments (at least for us foreigners).

It's immediately the best pho I've had, and has already made my first trip to Vietnam a success. The noodles were silky but still firm. The broth tasted as if it had been in bones and limes for hours. The meat was high quality and started rare so that in the broth it cooked into a moist brisket. The basil was so fresh I are it on its own before I got my dish. The coconut drink was really good too but that noodle soup was the best.

Good pho with delicious broth. Service was also very fast. They put in a decent amount of MSG though as my tongue still had the taste after going home. I prefer pho Le though their broth is a bit overly sweet from using sugar.

Local and not touristy Pho restaurant. The pho we got were delicious. The broth is really tasty. No comparison with pho you get in Europe or US. The service is super quick. The portions are abundant. We paired it with a refreshing iced ginger and chrisantemum tea. Very reasonable prices. The staff spoke very little English but we manage to understand each other.

This is my wife's FAVORITE pho restaurant. The broth here is rich of beef. Noodles and vegetables are always fresh. We come early so we avoid the rush. Always delicious, always consistent.

Food comes out almost instantly. Pretty insane. Great broth. Meat was tasty and somewhat tender. Decent sized serving too. Staff were nice, but may have trouble with communication if you don’t know Vietnamese.

Enjoyed the pho here. Broth tasted clean and had good flavour. Space was clean. Menu translated to English, Chinese and Korean so no problems even for tourist. We stayed at a guesthouse close by and pass by often, always packed with locals and tourists.

Always my fist stop when I'm in HCMC for the best pho in the city! That's right you heard me, this is the best place for pho. For all the reviews that say otherwise, they are just lacking thier tastebuds! Fast and piping hot when it arrives. Noodles are always cooked just right, broth is rich flavorful and light, and plenty of fresh herbs at your table. A good way yo start your day! Took one star off due to thier lack of AC!

Came here at 7pm and immediately got a seat. Service is prompt. They really have a variety of different noodle dishes and drinks. Their cleanliness is pretty good, it's the only place that I've been in my short time in Vietnam that doesn't have flies flying around your food. I got the special beef noodle and it came with a good amount of meats, it's a good size. Make sure to get their flan too! It's served with ice and fragrant Vietnamese coffee

My first pho in Saigon Vietnam! Was definitely worth the visit at around midnight. Not overly sweet or salty. Meat was not gamy. It was full even of people at this time. It will rate it a 5 star overall and will highly recommend 👌

One of the best southern style pho I have had in Vietnam. $90k for a big bowl with all different cuts of meat (I think called 888). Every bite eat a slice of meat so quite generous. My comparison is to Pho75 in Washington DC which is amazing. This one is a must try.

The broth is better than the popular Pho Pasture in my opinion because there’s a layer of oil that keeps the broth hot. There’s herbs and spices that I added to the soup which enhances the flavour but it’s also really by itself. A bowl of pho tai is 70k so on the more expensive end but still reasonable. I see foreigners come here and they have no issues ordering because the staff speaks a tad of English.

Really good Pho, reminds me of Pho that I use to have in the states. The broth was flavor full and the garnishes were good. One of the best I've had in Vietnam.

The pho here was amazing and portions are quite large!! The broth was delicious and had soo much flavour. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the most friendly man who really made us feel welcome. Although we couldn’t speak the same language, he joked with us and made us laugh lots. I highly recommend this spot!

What I can say is yummy but a little bit dirty. Sticky floor and table.... I really hope they can make environment better. We arrived there at 11:30. There are many people are eating, I think local people like this restaurant too. Pho is delicious! Many vegetables that you can put into Pho~(but it’s not cooked) Soup is also tasted good. We also ordered jasmine tea. Sweet but tasted good in hot weather.

Best pho I had in Saigon. I’m happy that their beef is still raw, and the soup is hot. The broth is not salty and oily, it’s prefect. I don’t need to add extra lime to balance the taste. They serve you unlimited vegetable that I pretty enjoy.

For a simple, tasty, hot bowl of pho, this is the place. They’re also very generous with the table herbs/vegetables and sauces for the noodles. Was there for breakfast. Quite some local diners too. Affordable pricing.

Was recommended to me by the hostel and it did not disappoint! I’ve been twice now! Tons of options for pho Bo and all really really good! It’s about 70k for a small bowl (pictured)

There was no wait at 12:30pm on a Friday. We ordered Pho Hung Dac Biet (combination pho). Soup was lighter than I expected. More flavour could be added to some beef parts like tendon. Coffee and 'ice sweet salty ball' were too sweet. Staffs were nice.

It is indeed a solid 10/10 beef pho. The soup was clear, light & tasty. The beef was slightly chewy, but I’m here for the soup. Put a lot of herbs, lime, hoisin and little bit of chilli sauce and it was the best pho that I’ve ever eaten. They do deserve their michelin star. Serving was prompt, friendly and the staff speak enough english for you to order and pay. Will definitely come back.

First time getting pho from the south. So good. Expectations were low after Hanoi, especially since pho in California is bomb. So much herbs!!!! Dac biet was great. Broth, noodles and meat all great. Bowls come out in less than 1 minute. Great service. Clean restaurant.

Seems authentic. Little bit unhygienic with lots of flies everywhere. But the staff were friendly and could speak a bit of English and Mandarin. We ordered a Pho Dac Biet (combination) and Tendon Pho, with a fresh coconut and lemon soda. Food was quite good compared to other touristy alternatives. Good serving size.

Pho (both chicken and beef) were great They have a chicken option if you don't eat beef (though the beef soup was tastier in my opinion). Staff didn't speak much English but they tried to assist you. The place is quite cozy for a pho place.

Looking for a dish that warms the soul in the heart of Saigon, this is the place 'Pho' you. Dont be deceived by the clear broth, it packs lots of great flavor. They offer a generous servings of greens (mint leaves, beansprouts, spring onions, etc) and a variety of condiments for you to customize each bowl. I like it with 1 or 2 slices of green lime in the soup as it elevates the flavor.

Came here for lunch and it just might be the best pho place in vietnam. Pho had deep and rich flavour with plenty of condiments available. There were many seats and noodles were served very very quickly. Shop is bustling with customers and it is no wonder why.

Best pho I had at HCM city! Very flavor soup and too much meat for its price. The base is not sweet so I like it. And the chili there is nice also!

SO GOOD! Came here by a friends recommendation. The pho was really good. Flavorful but not overpowering broth, generous portion of meat and pair them with tamarind juice! All the flavor just dances in your mouth The menu has detailed explanation in English so we found it really helpful. Service is really fast.

Though not the best pho I've been eaten in Vietnam, still worth visiting since it's one of well known in HCM & specialist of pho.

Very very good Pho Bo. Strong and flavourful broth, lots of fresh herbs and perfect texture noodles. As a Pho lover/addict I can only reccomend this place. The beers come with a loooot of ice which was also very pleasant. Be just carefull of their chopped chili as they're insanely strong.

Superb food and service at a very good price. The lady at the till also called me back as I gave her 500,000 VND thinking it was 100k! Very kind of her as she could’ve easily said nothing. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

If you like light but tasty soup, I reccomended this.. The soup is light but still it's savoury.. The meat is tender.. Just come if you want the taste of vietnam.. ☺ 😊 The seat is wide so you can eat in here with many people.. And the menu is available in english too so don't worry.. The place is near the street so it's easily to find..
