👍👍 I really liked this pretty restaurant. Being a weekday, it was pretty empty for an early lunch. Service was good, smiling and helpful. Loved the atmosphere and food. The beer was excellent as well. I will definitely be repeating the experience. People often mention good, restaurant, Vietnamese, dishes, delicious, atmosphere, experience, nice, service, staff,

One of the best services around. The staff were so attentive and on top of everything. We had a group of 11 and the staff was able to fit us in during a busy period. The portion sizes are quite small. I would have liked to be recommended to order rice with my chicken or perhaps another dish. Nevertheless, the dishes were absolutely divine and full of flavour. The restaurant was busy and our dishes took 15-20 minutes to come. It was so fast.

Tried fine dining option in Ho Chi Minh! Set menu.l —>Really enjoyed the spring rolls, great flavours and textures, however the standout of the menu was the fish! So tender and packed with umami flavours. The banana fritter dessert was not my favourite, however overall great dining experience.

Located inside alley used to be the city's largest opium producing factory. Hoa Túc means opium poppy. 90% are tourists, local don’t eat here much. Personally, food are mediocre, adjusted the flavour to suits foreigners’ palate and price is quite high. It’s alright to visit once, but I’d recommend other better flavour tourist restaurants like Quan Bui, Secret Garden, etc

(Translated by Google) I went there because it was popular during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City for a few hours, but the taste was normal compared to local restaurants in Da Nang and Hoi An. But why is it so expensive or tourist price? The atmosphere of the shop was good, but there were almost only Japanese customers. Seeing the word-of-mouth, it was because of the expectation, there was no money.

This was SO average for the price. We came due to the great reviews but it's a total tourist trap and quite expensive. We wouldn't have minded if it was at least really tasty, but it just isn't worth it. The drinks are quite small in size. We had the spring rolls and pomelo salad to start. Then the baby squid and bun thit nuong as mains. The baby squid was such a small portion and not very good. Spring rolls and bun thit nuong was okay but quite plain. The pomelo salad was nice. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Waiters all speak English. You get much more amazing foods in HCM for so much cheaper. Just Google any food blog or vlog on YouTube and give this place a miss.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and the servers are friendly. It's like a resting place in the city. It was nice to be able to taste a variety of foods as I ordered several dishes and shared them with my friends. However, the amount may be less in adult males. We ordered one menu and one drink per person and spent around VND300,000 per person.

A charming place to spend a romantic evening with your family and friends ☺️ Variety of food which is mostly a fusion with a new version of its own kind 😇 The interior is richly aesthetic and full of greenery which provides a soothing environment 😇🥰

Sorry to say but it was just wrong. We came here for lunch just to try out and see if it would be good to come for dinner, but it felt like the place didn’t think lunch to be worth the effort. Maybe dinner is ok, but not taking the risk. All the mains, both fish and meat were dry and overcooked, which made us think that the dishes were merely heated up and not made at the moment. Loveless food... At least the egg sandwich we had somewhere random the day before was fresh.

Was really happy that we had dinner at this restaurant - dad commented that i could not stop laughing at nothing. The Vietnamese dishes were all very tasty with different dipping sauce which made it all interesting (its not just fish sauce…). Special mention to the ✨lady’s finger✨ at the side of some of our main dishes as it was so addictive!? Will definitely come back for you again 😍

This property is located in a cozy cool nook away from the busy streets. Huge tour groups. They are riding on their volume and the kitchen is taking things for granted by dishing out mediocre quality food. Looks like a profit optimizing tactic here. Simply put, they don't care what we think as they have a steady stream of groups coming in.

Fushion Vietnamese food, good atmosphere, convenient location in the heart of Saigon. However, staff was not friendly because of the guy serving our table, I guessed he was in charged of supervisor or captain. He looked unhappy with his job and especially toward our table. Probably, most of guests in our table were Vietnamese and only one was Caucasian or he would not like to serving our table. I don't really sure, but with the position in the management department and the way to treat customers like that, it is unacceptable. I have worked for many years in the restaurant industry in North America and the behavior of the waiter made me feel like I was not welcome where I was born. Sorry for that happened.

We were very excited when we saw the Michelin Star at the door. When we entered the restaurant, there were nobody to sit us. We waited and the waiters were crowding around the cashier area and a waiter saw us but went about doing her own thing. We decided to sit ourselves on an empty table. We have to wave for attention to order our food. We decided to wait as our tables were not set up. Soon, the food came and the waiter noticed that our table was not set up. And he apologized. The food was good but nothing stood out to be amazing. We got our bill when we did not ask for it. This was because we left our credit card on the table. The atmosphere and music are good but a Michelin Star at the door certainly make us wonder why it is there.

I ordered fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce, bun cha and mocktails. The taste was not too exceptional, but presentation was good. Food were reasonably priced as well. They have a comprehensive menu of vietnamese local food. I would go again to try other food as well. The place is situated near city landmarks. Overall my experience at the restaurant was great.

Was quite dissapointed towards the end of the meal The service was good and the staff was attentive but i think the flavours need improvement as it was quite bland

Situated in a quaint inner enclave, it is easy to miss the restaurant. We had to really look for it carefully. The search is worth it. Sumptuous Vietnamese fusion food in a rustic atmosphere. Being a former opium refinery, the restaurant oozes retro ambience. We had 2 appetizers:- steamed clams with lemongrass ginger broth and fresh spring rolls. Clams were splendid tasting. Mains were chargrilled chicken breast, which was a bit dry. The carsmalised pangasius catfish fillet with pork belly was yummy. Another must order is the Crispy mini rice pancakes with prawns, pork and crunchy veg. Service is efficient and the staff all speak good English. We’ll be back!

First visit to HCM after 6 years and this little restaurant tucked at the corner is the most outstanding one of the rest I had this trip! First the service was great which makes the entire experience the much better! I would say it’s not the typical Vietnam cuisine you see at a viet restaurant but I think it’s more based on the home style dishes of Vietnam (correct me if I’m wrong!) we went for the soft shell crab dish wish came looking absolutely plain but the dish packed so much flavours (sweetness of the crab, crunch of the batter which was not at all overly fried and the tanginess of the accompanying sauce), it was such a susprise to my taste buds! We also had the brocolli (crunchy and tasty), and also the fish fillet with pickled onions (flaky and moist)! I would say the combination of the 3 dishes we had was a smart one because each dish gave us a different texture to taste with every mouth making the entire meal easy (not too overwhelming). Ended the meal with coconut milk/cream coffee which my partner said it was the best coffee he had in Vietnam. I opted for the cocktail which I would also say was the best one I’ve had throughout my trip. We actually came back here on our last day for our last New in Vietnam and I would give a shout out to the desert we had. It’s one of the traditional Vietnam desserts as according to the menu and I was blown away because it looks really simple but there’s just so much going on in the dish I couldn’t stop eating it. I’ll definitely be back again.

This is a good place to try modern Vietnamese dishes done nicely. Some dishes are a bit over-seasoned but in general the food is good and clean and fun. They get large travel groups, so it can take a bit of time for the food to arrive, and you better make reservations during main meal times.

Good selection of traditional Vietnamese foods. Definitely not a cheap-eat place judging from the way they decorate the place. A fancy experience of Vietnamese cuisine. The foods are good. The place is spacious with no airco but fresh air. Staffs are friendly. The food in the pic is not Vietnamese but Korean that to say how diverse the menu is.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Hua Tuc Cooking Class in Saigon, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! I would give it a solid 5/5 rating without hesitation. The class was not only incredibly fun but also highly interactive. I had the opportunity to meet and connect with wonderful people from diverse backgrounds, truly representing all walks of life. Together, we embarked on a delightful journey to the local market, where we sourced the freshest ingredients for our culinary creations. Under the guidance of our skilled instructor, we learned to master the art of cooking basic Vietnamese dishes, including mouthwatering spring rolls and delectable soy chicken cooked in a claypot. The location of the class, near the renowned Ben Tanh Market, added to the overall convenience and charm. Speaking of the instructor, they were an absolute star! Their expertise, passion, and ability to teach made the class even more enjoyable. I genuinely appreciated their guidance and patience throughout the session. On top of the fantastic cooking experience, I couldn't help but indulge in their delightful coffee. It was simply superb and added an extra touch of pleasure to the overall ambiance. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Hua Tuc Cooking Class. It offers an unforgettable experience, filled with fun, learning, and delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and left with a newfound love for Vietnamese cuisine. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity - you'll love it too!
