So sad that the park is unlike what I had seen from the past. I believe that the infrastructure is going worse as it seems, the animals in cage are too thin, like they aren’t fed well. I’m so sorry that I hardly visit the park in the future because what they are doing now... Please guys, you should invest it more about the scenery, the diversity of animals and many many more of entertainment activities... also you guys have to responsible for the caring of the park and make it the beautiful and fun park for everyone. Hope you guys change it, make it as magnificent as it was in the past, I’m so missed that Đầm Sen Park from the past, it looked more fun than now... Me & my Dad still enjoy it but less than ever...

wonderful place, best to go with family, kids, one must spare lots of time as parkbis quite big in area, there is also animal park inside, and ferry wheel, ghost house, metro train, boating, ripe bridge, boat cafe and many more, it will take quite a lot of time to move around and see different things altogether , so one of the best place to enjoy

Two girls from the UK, we went to the waterpark. We was nearly put off after reading up and down reviews, however we decided to give it a chance. So glad we did! Definitely worth a visit, the rapids and the wave pool were so fun, the slides were fast and we barely had to queue (try to go first thing in the morning, we went on a Monday at 10am) The lady on the desk helped us with our locker and to buy tickets. We was finished by 12, didn’t try any food. Would highly recommend T-shirts and shorts to fit in with the locals, especially if you’re a girl/woman.

My recent visit to Dam Sen Water Park was a delightful experience overall, marked by a clean environment, professional staff, and enjoyable rides. However, there were some concerns, particularly regarding the counter at the entrance, which marred an otherwise fantastic day. **Cleanliness and Professionalism:** The water park boasts a commendable level of cleanliness and maintenance. The staff members are highly professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all visitors. The rides are well-maintained, and the water quality is pristine, contributing to an enjoyable experience. **Value and Attractions:** The variety of rides offered at Dam Sen Water Park is commendable, providing a good mix of thrills and relaxation. The presence of adequate safety guards ensures a sense of security, allowing visitors to enjoy the attractions with peace of mind. While it might not be the largest water park, it offers a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. **Concerns at the Entrance Counter:** However, a major downside surfaced at the entrance counter, where phone covers and floats are sold. The exorbitant pricing of $20 for a phone cover, coupled with the staff's attempt to push unnecessary purchases by stating that each cover accommodates only one phone, appears exploitative, especially towards foreigners. This practice of trying to extract more money from visitors by enforcing unnecessary purchases significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. **Final Thoughts:** Despite the regrettable encounter at the entrance counter, Dam Sen Water Park remains a decent option for a day of relaxation and fun in Ho Chi Minh City. The park's cleanliness, well-maintained rides, and attentive staff contribute to an overall positive experience. However, potential visitors should be cautious and aware of possible tactics aimed at extracting additional money. In summary, Dam Sen Water Park offers an enjoyable getaway from the city's hustle and bustle, featuring well-maintained rides and a clean environment. Nonetheless, the exploitative practices at the entrance counter regarding the sale of phone covers and floats merit attention and consideration before planning a visit.

Rusty cultural and amusement park. Animal has not been treating well. Poor food and drink services.

We are Canadian and went with our Vietnamese friends. Because of Tet the line ups were long and I have never seen more chaos in my life lol. However, it was still a fun time. Most staff were friendly, tickets to get in are cheap, only 16k I believe. Note: they do not let you down the non tube waterslide if you have a zipper on your shorts. We’ve never encountered such a rule at other parks around the world. So if you go, be sure not to have zippers on your backside. We waited in line for a water slide for 30 minutes only to be told my boyfriend couldn’t go down. Why don’t they have people checking at the bottom of the slide instead as not to waste people’s time? (Also can’t go down with sunglasses). The food didn’t look great, or hygienic honestly… so maybe bring your own snacks. Bathrooms were pretty gross too. I would try again when it is less busy and now knowing the rules for the slides.

Dam Sen Water Park in Saigon is a great place to visit with family, especially on hot days. The admission fee of around $8.50 per person is reasonable and the park has a variety of activities to offer. Our family of 5, including 2 children, had a fun time there. Although the swimsuits cost more than the admission, they were well worth it. The park has a children's play pool that is perfect for younger kids and it was one of our children's favorite attractions. The synthetic beach was also a hit and it provided a fun, beach-like experience in the middle of the city. Unfortunately, our children were not tall enough to go on all the slides, but there were still enough activities for them to enjoy. In conclusion, Dam Sen Water Park is a great option for families in Saigon. The admission fee is reasonable and there are plenty of activities for both children and adults to enjoy. While some of the attractions are not suitable for younger children, there are still plenty of options for them to have fun. I would give the park a 4-star rating and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out with family.

Came on Monday 12pm, the lines for the slides are pretty empty but everything else was SUPER crowded and swarming with children from the lazy river, pools, hot tub. I think 3pm would have been a better time to arrive. - All the slides at the giant tower were super scary and heart wrenching (kamikaze, green/yellow twister,) and they were also alittle bumpy so not something I wanted to go on again, besides the red Tornado which had a good level of fun swirl turns. - Space bowl has a very big drop which makes it frightenining as well but not too bad. - The other slides were were more fun than scary such as Love Storm and the 2 seater ones. Unfortunately wasnt able to try the boomerang as it requires a 3rd person Wave Pool had no indication on when the next wave is going to happen and theres a big lack of floaties so you have to get lucky to grab one if someone happens to ditch theirs near you: Not great, add triple the amount of float rings to lazy river and wave pool. PROS - The outside place is maintained and cleaned - Good security on keeping the bag safe as u have to repeat your phone number back to them to get it back - Pool had a good amount room to swim around, only place to hang that wasnt crowded CONS - Locker line waiting time was long as someone infront had 6 bags to check in, so i moved lines - Shower place look old, dark, dirty but is cleaned with water hose - 2 slides were out of order - Difficulty navigating, not enough maps around the park

This place exceeded expectations! We spent five hours here and had a great time. The lazy river was our favorite, but the kids area is awesome. There are plenty of big slides for older kids and adults but there’s also plenty to do for younger kids. Tips: bring your own towel, shampoo, and goggles. Buying those on site really adds up. Food is expensive. For about a dollar, you can check a garbage bag full of items, and they will lock it up and give you the key.

This place is huge it actually contains about 5 different venues. Depending on the size of your party. It's been very tastefully done and the water themes are beautiful... In the evening when. Its all lit up it looks beautiful. The food is good and fresh and there chicken soup is wonderful. Yes I would recommend this place for a evening party..

I went to there many times due to take flower pictures. This is only one place which I can take a local bus from near Ben Thanh market bus terminal to the park. It is very reasonable bus fee. But the park entrance fee became more expensive year by year!!

A large amusement park in Saigon. Various playing areas and games for kids. Lunch serving for tour ticket. It's fun to bring your family here. But kids are prohibited in some areas if their height is over 140cm. There are not enough space for car parking at every gates. The staff are not very friendly. The place is quite crowded at weekend.

Large and clean facilities. Many different ride options so you can chose if you want to be a little more brave :). There is also a food court if you get hungry and lifeguards for safety. We went on a Sunday, was a little crowded but a great day to be had.

It was okay. But in summer everything is so crowded 😩 and you have to pay 25.000 vnd for 1 time using locker. You can bring food from outside, but it have to stay on your backpack.

My kids know how to swim but they were restricted from swimming except in the kid pool and had to stay in the shallow areas. One is over 1.4m (1m4) but still wasn't allowed to swim deeper in the wave pool. This made for a very boring experience for us as they just walked around in the shallow areas. The lazy river was fun and the kiddie pool was fun for the littlest one.

Too crowded all the time and also not many choices of food and drink. Over 30 activities but not many for kids under 1.4m. But this waterpark is one of a very few choices of entertainment for children in HCMC.

Great amusement park. Go during the week and there is minimal people meaning almost no wait time on attractions. Entrance is reasonably priced, purchase the all-inclusive ticket so you're not pulling money out of your pocket all day. There are many places providing reasonably priced food and drink throughout the park. Give yourself a full day to explore the park fully.

For your ticket and a locker it will run you about 200k VND for a visit. Some of the slides are rough and left bruises on my skin, perhaps due to poor construction and maintenance. The lazy river is very obviously short on tubes. The lockers seem secure but can’t be re-opened unless you want to pay again (20k), and there aren’t any cubbies throughout the park to store shoes, sunglasses, etc, while you ride the slides. The food court was pretty mediocre. Ride selection was about what you’d expect for a water park of this size in Vietnam. Bathrooms and showers were adequate. Overall this place is good for a couple hours but nothing special.

Dam Sen water park is like the small water world in a busy city Ho Chi Minh. Everyday, a lot of people go there to go swimming in order to avoid the hot weather of tropical country. There are many creative kinds of game under water. U can bring fast food or slight food to provide energy for swimming.

lots of slides to choose from, probably around 10 or so with varying excitement levels. there’s a lazy river and a wave pool, although the waves are pretty small. multiple fast food and vietnamese food places onsite at a decent price if you’re hungry, and the price for entry is 200k vnd which i thought was very reasonable considering the amusement scenario inside the park.

    - Pros: Only water park within the city (nearest one outside the city is Tien Dong Beach park). Very old but well maintenance. It has diversified area for different ages, from relaxing pool to high speed slide and children pool. - Cons: Very bad food, please seriously consider taking your lunch here. The music is terrible even though it’s not quite important. Though they should play children or chilling musics than those free cheap remix online musics. Recommend: Good for young and family. Crowded at weekend. You could possible bring your own food in for better experiences Prices (in 2022): - 0.8-1m4: 160,000d - > 1m4: 200,000d

Very nice water park with pently of slide. Have a small jazcuzi and many shade to sit down and wait for children. love the wave making pool. Easy to navigate around and have reasonable price food stall inside.

Nice place for enjoying water games. But the place is more suitable for teenagers. Even though it has a pool for kids, their policy was ridiculously strict that they blocked parents to take kids on the equipments. So basically small kids 4 yo and below can't play cause it's too dangerous for them to go on the sliders by themselves.

  • 2/5 Ethian H. 1 year ago on Google
The park is alright. You can still have fun on the slides and pools however they are quite dirty and poorly designed. The wave pool is incredibly slippery, most slides will leave you slightly injured and the water is very dirty. It is also super crowded on weekends with many disrespectful guests. The infrastructure is also very dirty and rundown.

  • 5/5 Łukasz H. 4 years ago on Google
A very reasonable option for spending a day with kids in Ho Chi Minh. Quite a lot of fun things do to, everything in good condition. Even on weekend not that crowded as you would expect from such kind of place. Pro tip - from center take bus no 11, takes around 30-40 min and costs almost nothing.

  • 3/5 Gemma 1 year ago on Google
Great fun, but there’s a reason you don’t see some of these slides in the UK… The bowl and the boomerang slides are very prone to injury so just be careful. So many school kids but they all clear out around 2pm and we almost had the place to ourselves.

Excellent day put. Just remember to bring cash as no card service. 200,00 for anyone over 1.4 m and under is 160,000 vnd. Atm near door or back near gate Great fun. Lockers 25,000.

It used to be a nice place since i visited 5 years ago, unfortunately it got worse. The park is now overcrowded, and you may not help your kids on the toddler slides. They need to get off by themselves. With that being said, it's a nice park for older kids from around 12 years and older, a lot of slides to choose from. We will come back later when the kids get bigger.

My 8 year old girls had lots of fun here. The facility and decorations matches with the price ($6.75 kid and $8.5 adults). So, nothing to complain about. It’s the closest water park near our place. The park is super crowded on Saturday noon during Summer. While waiting for them playing, I ordered french fries. It’s edible but tasted below average. The fries are stale (probably was fried long ago and placed under heated lamp). The ketchup that goes w this was the worst I ever had. It’s better to eat the fries alone.

Nice to get out into some water and cool down and that is about it. 200k vnd for an 11 year old (same as an adult) and 25k for a locker. The place is chaos! From the moment of trying to park to knowing where to where to buy tickets to knowing how to get out. Its filled with people eating fast food stalls where outsiders come to watch. The while place is a bit shabby and could do with some vamping up. The thing l liked most was the short time waiting in queues.

It was ok. It was not organized like Singapore waterpark but whatever the price was reasonable anyway. 200k VND/per person. We didn't really try the extreme one since when we were about to go up, we saw a guy with a new bandage on his knee.

  • 3/5 Khari S. 4 years ago on Google
Small amusement park in the middle of Saigon. If you buy only entrance tickets, you can't go to several attraction. Take note that for what so called 8D/9D movie ticket is only for 1 time use, while there is 3 option for you to choose. 8D movie theater is so worn out and the glasses is not properly focused. If you are glasses user, you will get headache after movie. The park itself is so-so with most of the spot seems not well managed. This place seems focused on children amusement park so the attraction may not enjoyable for adults.

It was so fun! Went on all the roller coasters and had a blast. Went on a Sunday and the lines didn't take any more than 10 minutes. Went on both rides and attractions and going to the ice sculpture attraction is a good way to rapidly cool down! Go in a group with friends and family for good bonding time. All the foods were good and cheap. Many stalls with candy and snacks. And food courts with foods that are filling.

Went there on a weekday. It was clean, neat and tidy with moderate occupancy. Loved the nature there which looked well-maintained. Just one con which was the non-stop very loud music. If that could be at a more acceptable volume or turned off, it would be absolutely relaxing.

This is my favourite place in HCMC to relax. Based in such a busy district as Tan Phu, it is hard to imagine such a beautiful and quiet place. The animals do need more space and food but at least they are treated better than those in the Zoo.
