I have completed the open water and enriched air courses and it was an absolute pleasure to have Isa and Angel as instructors. The entire team was very professional and patient with the group. Very easy to follow their instructions, the main points were clearly explained and the equipment is excellent. Thank you very much Angel & Isa!

Highly not recommended. First the objective data: We chose the “Baptism in a Sunken Ship”. Price €80 and I describe the itinerary (which I couldn't get them to give me before going): They call you at 8:00 am at the club to give you the equipment. From there, 35 minutes by boat to a town in the north, where the cylinders are loaded onto the boat and taken to the diving site. When you arrive, they take you off one by one (it doesn't matter if you go as a couple or in a group), each one with a monitor, who holds you at all times. Diving time DOES NOT EXCEED 10 minutes. The advertisement does not tell you anywhere how long the diving time is. They don't take photos, we haven't even seen cameras, which was in the ad. While you're not diving you have to wait for the rest. You can't bathe, just wait on the boat in the sun. They dispatch quickly to the “Baptisms” and back to the town port. Now the subjectives: In general, the older instructors were a little unfriendly, except for a couple and a girl named Maite. I understand that it will be a family business, but I think it was lacking a little professionalism. When it comes to diving there are only “two attempts”. That is, if you need to go up a little to decompress your ears more than twice, they make you get out of the water and you leave there without having dived. This would be great if they lowered you slowly and little by little, not all at once. That said, my perception has been that they wanted to ship quickly and “for home.” Positive aspects: The equipment was in very good condition and looked professional. The monitors were of course professionals and we felt safe at all times. The barely 10 minutes diving were also quite entertaining, my instructor (Maite) was very cool. SUMMARY: Highly not recommended. 5 hours of your vacation to dive for 10 minutes without luck for €80 while they give you orders and you burn. All the best.

The instructor didn't have patience to explain properly what to do and instead of helping us to calm down, in the water, because it was something very different, and how to get used with the tube and how to breathe through it, he was doing the opposite. Out of 4 beginners for that baptize, none of us dive (and I think that this explain all)

I just finished taking the PADI Open Water and I couldn't be happier. Material and teachings of 10!! Both Ángel and Isa are professionals of the kind that no longer exist. Always available to help and set schedules. Highly recommended whether you are coming from Valencia or if you live in Madrid.

My diving experience with Angel and Isabel was exceptional. Their professionalism and dedication created a safe and exciting environment underwater. This center is an experience of safety and attention from its instructors, the best place for baptisms and to improve immersion techniques with the help of Angel and Isabel as well as the rest of its specialists.

Great people, great place 😍 I contacted them before going to Valencia for my holiday. I wanted to do a PADI OWD course with my two children. We did not know Spanish at all, and we had only one previous experience with diving. Nevertheless, before arrival, we managed to arrange all the formalities and dates by e-mail very efficiently and without any problems, with being assured that the practical part could be led in English. The Master Diver Angel and his entire team were very responsive, patient, attentive and meticulous. They devoted a lot of attention to my son, who had problems with certain exercises, dedicated additional trainers for and care for his exercises on land and underwater. They did not give up, did not let go, did not let him feel that he was doing worse, that maybe he was not able for diving. Chapeau bas! I read one comment about them being unreliable when they arrange dives. In fact, we waited for them to return from their morning dive for an hour, one of the days. But that's because, apart from the unpredictable conditions at sea, they don't look at the clock when they're training someone. And diving is not an individual course either. There were 10 people from the center to look after a group of 5 trainees. And I saw myself how some had no problems whatsoever, while the others had to repeat the exercises times and times again, all to gain the skills well and then dive safely. We waited for them, and then they gave us just as much time as we needed. I think such arrangement is fair enough. Angel, thank you and all the El Mar De Valencia team, especially Harry, our interpreter, wonderful mentor and caregiver. It was really great experience! I promise that we will visit you again for diving together 🤩🤩🤩

Totally recommended center. Two of us went to do the dry suit course and the experience was good. Personalized attention and explanation from scratch, from the most basic to the most complex points. And of course the price is the best I've seen so far. We will repeat dives on future trips.

I had a reservation for a double dive and due to the state of the sea we couldn't do it and they refunded my money without any problem. The treatment was great and they made safety prevail above all.

I had an amazing experience. The crew consisted of warm people with passion for scuba diving. The instructions were very clear and it was simple to comprehend and learn. Some instructors also speak french so for people that do not speak english or spanish speak in french, they will help you. Thank you Angel and Javi and the others!! It was exactly what I needed😁

Very professional service with great attention to every detail. I highly recommend this dive centre and Angel. He is efficient and his very long experience is evident when teaching. I did my rescue diver course with him and felt save and challenged during all my dives . I hope to come back to him to do my dive master certification next year. As a totally inexperienced diver, I had to get the Baptism which had a big price. When it came to getting in the water the team was totally careless with regards to our inexperience (we were 4 new divers in the boat) and: 1. Did not check our costumes thoroughly before getting in the water in spite of our protests. (One girl entered the water with her mask over her mouth and mine was loose) 2. Did not prepare us for our first meeting with the open waters in full gear (not very comfortable but, with a little time and patience could have been bearable. 3. They put us in the position and started pushing my head below surface and I could not tell then that the mask was taking water. When I took the respirator off to tell them, they yelled panic and ended the experience. In total, out of 4 inexperienced divers NONE had the total experience. Of course no refunds.
