My mum and I came here for a treat on the last night of our holiday in Alicante. We certainly weren't disappointed! The chicken satay, chicken mussaman curry and the dessert (mango on black sticky rice) were all really lovely. The chicken Penang wasn't perhaps quite as good, but to be fair I was warned by the waiter that it was only mildly spiced. Would have loved some Thai prawn crackers but couldn't see them on the menu. Excellent and friendly service from both the waiter and a Thai lady, who I assume was the chef. If we return to Alicante, then we will definitely come again!

A great Thai restaurant! The service was friendly and attentive and the ambient relaxed and nicely decorated. The food was really tasty, especially the chicken soup was great and the yellow curry was also amazing. The portions were not too big but sufficient. The best Thai restaurant we have been so far in Spain 🙂

Can only comment on the one dish I had, but it was excellent, really tasty, well presented and decent value. Certainly the most authentic Thai dish I have had in Alicante. The restaurant itself is small but comfortable and pleasant. The waiter was excellent too, very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my evening here & would go again anytime.

Visit Nº 1.... (this had 5 stars) My new favourite Thai restaurant.... Excellent food!!!! Priced well with good Portion size... U shouldn't leave hungry..... 🔥🥂 Visit Nº 2...UPDATE.... we went again last Friday the 19th Nov for dinner with friends.... whilst the food was EXCELLENT the service was not good !! once we had finished our dinner neither of the two waiters that had to pass our table every few minutes as we were sat next to the kitchen asked us if everything was ok... did we need any more drinks ? did we want to look at the desert menu.... would you like coffee..... NOTHING..... so after an hour we asked for the bill and left. Our bill was 110€ but could of easily been 50/60€ more if the waiter would of asked us we wanted anything else..... But as i say the food was ECELLENT :-)

This is such a nice family owned restaurant. I had dinner here alone and the hosts made me feel welcome. The server was a bit busy talking while I was the only diner in the restaurant but later explained they were old family friends he had not seen for years. I thought that was kind of him to say. I had Thai meatballs as a starter, quite an unusual texture but the main meal was the star of the show. Green Thai chicken was delicious but the Pad Thai absolutely blew me away. They're the best Thai food I've had since moving to spain 8 years ago and I will return to Suan just to eat them again. The white wine wasn't the best so I asked to change to a red. When the bill came they didn't charge me for the white. Good people. Decent experience all around.

The food is spectacular! I went with friends and one of them used to live in Thailand, so she suggested a few dishes. All soooo good! Everything fresh and clearly homemade. The Pad Thai was amazing. The chef is a woman from Thailand and she definitely knows how to cook!!! I will go back very soon!

We had such a great night at Suan Thai. The food was very tasteful. The duck and fried fish was incredible, the vegetables was as good as it gets. The couple that owns the place are very sympathetic people. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Just perfect dinner with thai food. Tom yum was amazing also enjoyed mango salad and pad thai. Even waiter was late for his shift, wooman from kitchen served us very polite and nice, thanks.

What a perfect place to eat original Thai Food, the way its meant to be! The quality is outstanding since the Head chef is Thai and makes the food the exact same way as you would get it in Thailand. The service is outstanding, they make sure that you feel comfortable and you have all that you need. Truly service with a smile.... ohw and above all this, the prices are very decent for the quality and service you get. I would give it 6 stars but Google doesn't allow that ;-)

I am Vegan and my Husband is vegetarian and they have many delicious options ! The Owners were there are were extremely friendly and helpful with dish selection. Both dishes were excellent and we would highly recommend this family owned restaurant!

Wonderful food. Cooked fresh. It was a delight on my taste buds. Would definitely go back and try the pad Thai next time. Had the Thai chicken green curry with egg fried rice. Tasted home-cooked. A little treasure of a place which can be missed as its on a side street off the main square. Staff and proprietors are friendly and helpful. They spoke enough English for us to order the right food. Ambience is calming for a nice dinner. Highly recommend trying the food here if you want something different from paella or pizza :) Prices were reasonable and portion size were spot on 👌

Lovely restaurant with a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Ambient music. Very chill. Relaxing. Food was top notch. We asked for super spicy and they didn’t disappoint. Service was spectacular. No complaints. Love this place.

I only ordered pad thai and was very disappointed ! There was just too much sauce and the sauce was not home made but industrial. The noodles were too big and just did not taste like an authentic pad thai. And I am not even mentioning what real pad thai tasted like !!! I would not recommend or come back again.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurant in Spain, I have hoijo and papaya salad with sticky rice which is so good. And thank you kun Sa she’s very kind and also let me try special food. The restaurant look great! The location it’s easy to find with Google Map. You can have a great time here! Recommend ! :)

I wisited this place and I was very nice surprised. In Alicante is not easy to find place where they serve Asian spices Here you can find it. It is not Asia but ….you can find galangal 🌶 ginger, kafir…lemon grass, cilantro Staff is very helpful Papaya salad ! Almost perfect I have tried other thai restaurant in ALICANTE … but I recommend this place as feels like in Bangkok …

It’s a small cozy place with only 6 tables. The attentiveness of the staff is exceptional. Recommend for pescatarians and vegetarians.

Best Thai restaurant in Alicante and very reasonable prices. Authentic Thai owner down a little side alley. Blink and you miss it. Highly recommended.

A great Thai restaurant in the heart of Alicante. It has a great atmosphere and the service is fantastic with very friendly staff. The food is amazing and very tasty. The price is reasonable and the quantity of food is perfect. Will be going back again. 👍
