WARNING.... THIS IS NOT A 4* HOTEL. In reality it is a 1* Hotel with 1* service at a stretch. I think they may have 2 or 3 renovated rooms in the hotel so that's why there are some good reviews. I got to experience 2 small dirty poor quality rooms so my opinion is as follows.... I stayed there for 4 nights with my wife and 2 year old daughter expecting a nice relaxing time, and being taken care of by the staff..... The afternoon we arrived, we got to the hotel after 16:30 to make sure that our room would be ready. After making our way to reception we noticed the grass around the pool needed cutting and the swimming pool was green on the bottom with leaves floating and also on the bottom. It had obviously not been maintained for several days. We arrived at reception and checked in. We told reception about the condition of the pool and they said the pool was clean.This really disappointed me as our intention was to spend every afternoon relaxing by the pool and swimming with our daughter who loves the water. (We didn't spend 1 afternoon by the pool because it was not clean and uninviting. On the day we left they cut the grass and cleaned the pool.... Unbelievable. Surely this should have been cleaned on a daily basis.) We then went to our room and found bedding and towels laying on the floor, it had not been cleaned. Also it was missing a cot for the baby. We returned to reception and they moved us to another room. We asked about the cot and they said they had no information about the cot.... (I had requested it 2 weeks in advance and had a reply from the hotel saying no problem you will have a cot in your room.) The room we stayed in had no a/c working, there was no mini bar, no toiletries in the bathroom, and no coffee/tea making facilities. These where all stated on the Web site as available services, and as I'm sure you'll agree very basic services available in the majority of hotels. We told reception about the a/c and how disgusting the filters where, they said they would clean the filters the following day, this never happened, they said the a/c wasn't turned on, just the recirculating air was working,so basically we had dusty air being circulated around the room but we had no choice as we were too hot and uncomfortable at night. We sat at the terrace outside waiting to be asked if we like a drink, this never happened and we had to go to reception on the floor above to order drinks as there was only 1 member of staff running the hotel, crazy! We had a meal in the hotel restaurant the first night for convenience. It was very expensive and really poor quality(dry old pork overcooked) . I had a bad stomach for the next 2 days. We had a buffet breakfast, only once, it was a joke, hardly any food available, the fruit was minimal and not fresh, I was very disappointed and we didn't eat in the hotel again after that. The rooms where small and dirty. The floors where never cleaned with a mop and walking on the floors would give you black feet. The bathroom smelt of sewers and the toilet dripped constantly, so there was a big lack of maintenance. The window was broken and wouldn't open/close properly. I have attached photos showing the air filters thick with dust, the lampshades covered in dust, holes and cracks in the wall and ceiling, a cracked shower screen, moldy shower tap,dirty old shower head and dirty extraction grill in bathroom, also my first nights meal in restaurant that made me ill for 2 days. The first 2 nights we had dogs barking in the rooms close to ours, on the last 2 nights the room next to ours had a married couple talking and laughing very loud until at least 2:30 in the morning, so we slept very bad for 4 nights (with no a/c to add to the discomfort). My advice is to AVOID this hotel so as to avoid such disappointing experience at a high price. The photos on the Web site of the rooms, garden area, and food in restaurant are very old.. Do not be fooled.......... And no comment or apology about my review from the management......the management obviously don't care, they just want your money.

The restaurant is in the Hotel Villa which is on a hill so you enter at street level and go downstairs one floor and you are again at ground level. There is a lift for those who are unable or unwilling to use the stairs. The Restaurant is light and airy and furnished with rather minimalist tables and chairs. The staff are friendly and helpful and leave you in peace once the menu is delivered. We went for Sunday lunch and were surprised that as well as the a lá Cart there was a menu del día. This at €15 and with a limited number of options seemed to be a bit Pricey. However, the quality was excellent and we were content with the bill. The wine list is quite small, but reasonably priced. The service was excellent our waiter could not do5 enough for us and we had a very enjoyable long lunch. The only down side was the noise level when we arrived. The hotel hosts training courses so a large number of people were talking noisily and the acoustic conditions could be better. However they all left together and all became peaceful. Would we go again? Yes if we were in the area, but it's a bit far to go just for lunch.

I stayed one night at this wonderful and quiet hotel in Feb 2022. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a huge variety of good things, fresh fruit, coffe as much as you need. I had my heavily packed touring bicycle inside my room to keep it safe - no problems there also. I can highly recommend this hotel, especially when you're exploring the wonderful area around.

The place is beautiful, and their staff is very nice. Unfortunately they don't have much staff and you will have to wait a long time for everything that you need. But definitely a beautiful place to relax:)

Great Hotel in a lovely small town with lots of amenities. Hotel pool was excellent never overcrowded. Wifi was first class. Restuarant for evening meal was very good. Good variety of food and fresh local ingredients. Highly recommended for a relaxing break. Every member of the team gave exceptional service. Will definately return.

A little old fashion but very clean and with good breakfast

Hidden away, this gem of a hotel is a slice of heaven. Fantastic place to stay whilst exploring Biar and the surrounds. Food in the restaurant was super, I can recommend the tuna salad as it was fresh and the portion huge..this hotel is on top of my goto list.

Nice hotel, excellent location, friendly staff, as for dining this hotel has exquisite cuisine that will jaw drop you, as for breakfast, it was a bit disappointing, guess i was expecting something better, something similar to dinner but nonetheless OK, views are the best but the hotel itself could have kept more typical design(too many aluminum frames were used) a place to stay in for sure!!!

A little piece of heaven.. Biar is like stepping back in time such a wonderful traditional Spanish village..We have totally fell in love with the place.. From the Church bells chiming most of the day to the singing and dancing in the Square and Plaza also the Band marching around he quaint little streets..Every little bit was enjoyable.. The Hotel is beautiful and in such a tranquil setting so relaxing. We had pool and garden to ourselves most days . Inside and outside immaculate.. The biggest bed we have ever slept in!!!...Everyone friendly. Fabulous place!!.Really going to miss it..We will return.. If you want peace and relaxation and love a bit of Spanish culture this is the place for you..
