I've been a member since 2015. This is no longer a premier facility. Minor repairs are neglected and the facility is dirty. Information on the website states that the building and equipment is thoroughly disinfected after hours each night. This is obviously not happening. Treadmills and other equipment are covered in dust and sweat drops. The lap pool is too cold for comfort. You can exercise an hour in the pool, and still feel cold.

I had a membership with this gym for probably 4 or 5 months and I would recommend anyone thinking of getting a membership to a nicer gym go to lifetime unless they want to overpay for a place that will risk your health. There are floating bugs in the indoor pool clumps of hair by all the drains and the hot tub is often full of leaves and bugs. I found bandaids floating in the water twice and let the staff know and it was not taken care of. There is mold in the showers. Itā€™s gross and much more for a luxury gym. I cancelled the membership but still have a package I purchased for my childā€™s swimming lessons that I will be requesting be refunded. Iā€™ll add some of the pictures I have here for any non believers but the videos are worse. Iā€™ll let the health department deal with the rest. There is also something wrong with the daycare because my child was terrified of going there, she went twice and cried and begged not to return because the people were mean to her.

I've been going to Villa Sport for years now. And I'm overall very satisfied with it, all the work out and gym equipment is very high quality, to ensure I get a good workout, and I like there body pump classes where you workout with an instructor. They also have a very nice pool (indoor and outdoor) it's very spacious and clean, and it also includes water slides. The locker rooms are also clean, and they always have clean towels. Although Villa Sports has a lot of pros, I've seen a few issues here. Firstly, I feel it's quite expensive (50$ per person a month), I get it. you're paying for the experience, still, that's quite a lot for one person. Second, their child care isn't very good (I used to be in it), the staff don't handle situations very well. And third, I've noticed some quality control issues yesterday I came, and it was raining pretty hard, and there were leaks in the ceiling, they placed buckets, but water was still dripping on me while I worked out. Overall, I think Villa Sport is a good gym! They have nice features to their building inside, there's just a few quality control issues. I'd still recommend coming here. Good experience!

So great! Got 4 free guest passes and love to go and just enjoy all the amenities! Friendly atmosphere and great service! Not to mention the shampoo and conditioner and personal care smell so good!! Just wish that the price to join was not as expensive.

This gym has good features and lots of great members that my fiancĆ© and I have become good friends with. However, the gym itself is a wreck and the management is below average; as evidenced by the poor staff culture reviews on Indeed. The mirrors in the squat racks havenā€™t been cleaned in who knows how long so thereā€™s drops of saliva covering the mirrors, the same bikes and rowers have been broken for over 18 months now (1 busted computer, several busted chains, one handle that is very lose and poses a safety threat, and foot straps that have been busted so you canā€™t even keep yourself in the rower), there are mounds of dust and hair balled up in the corners and under equipment, there is broken pieces of equipment that needs replacing but hasnā€™t been replaced, there is general equipment maintenance that needs to happen, and during the summer the outside grill ran out of food constantly. When I approached the fitness manager about all the equipment needs I just mentioned and made him aware of the faulty/unsafe equipment he said they donā€™t have it in their budget to pay for equipment maintenance which is just outright absurd given how much they charge members! What gym doesnā€™t have a maintenance budget? They also just dropped I donā€™t know how much money into renovating the personal training room to place the Les Mills Trip studio there with 30 bikes and a 20ft screen. smh My fiancĆ© and I are going to keep our membership here because of the great people weā€™ve met and friends weā€™ve made. But outside of that, this gym is overpriced and poorly managed. Show us you care about these concerns Villa Sport and Iā€™ll gladly change this review. Until then, youā€™re just charging a lot and delivering a little.

Capricious rule enforcement. Overall dated and pretty dirty. Lifetime is better. Weā€™ve been a member here for three years. We were at Lifetime for two before that. Weā€™re probably gonna switch back. Management doesnā€™t respond to customer feedback (Iā€™ve never heard back from a single email or comment). Lifeguards enforce some rules but not others. Most recently we were turned away from the therapy pool with our two year old because it was lessons only but I counted three adults just sitting in the water by themselves. Not sure why we were singled out. The outdoor pool has more slides than lifetime but thatā€™s about it. Lifetime is bigger. Employees there are constantly cleaning. If we didnā€™t have a toddler that liked the play pools weā€™d probably already have switched back. Honestly if youā€™re child free I have no idea why youā€™d be a member here. One last thing if management reads this: why are there TVs AND music in the locker rooms? The TVs are always blasting history channel and the music is on some terrible satellite radio. Itā€™s a cacophony. We all have headphones. If we wanted music, weā€™d play it. Why have the TVs fight the radio for dominance while we all try our best to relax? Another dated practice by a dated facility.

Been a member for over a year! Did the walk through and liked the gym. My sole purpose of joining, was the basketball court, it has a divider and is really 2 courts wide. Little did I know from may to May to August, basketball courts are just childrens backpack storage AND NO ONE CAN PLAY ON COURT!!! What a waste of money and time. I really feel very lied too by the employees that gave me the walk through.

We switched from Lifetime to here, and haven't regretted the decision one time! Everything is clean, the locker rooms are spacious, the weight rooms are always organized. The people are super friendly and helpful. The pool is great for the kids to splash in and spend the day!

Villa sport is wonderful! Comparable size & amenity wise to lifetime but with a better pool, a hot tub in the womenā€™s locker room & better prices! Itā€™s very reasonable for a luxury gym at $90 a month while lifetime is now charging $175 a month!! Villa also doesnā€™t charge a ā€œone time pool feeā€ like lifetime does ($75 per adult & $50 per kid at lifetime). The pool at Villa is amazing. 2 water slides & a kids area. Not to mention the beautiful mountain views. I started my membership at Villa in February 2023 and have no complaints! Staff is always friendly, itā€™s never too busy, they have great equipment & an amazing sauna. 10/10!

AVOID THIS GYM. For the 90$ a month they donā€™t maintain cleanliness, menā€™s dry/wet sauna and locker rooms should be much cleaner for the price. the sauna wasnā€™t cleaned until enough people complained. The dirt build up was out of hand underneath the benches. The smell of urine in the showers and wet sauna was another issue for me. Other than this review you can read other reviews below with pictures of the level of cleanliness. I go to cancel my membership because I just didnā€™t think for the price they charge is worth the membership they advertise. Villa destroys me in cancellation fees. I get charged $85 for the month after I canceled then I get a $81 fee the following month. I call to see whatā€™s up and of course no one answers. I drive all the way over for them to say the one fee was for the last month of activation and the other fee was for cancellation. When I was told when I originally cancelled in July that after the $85 Iā€™d be good to go. It should not be this hard to break up with a gym, especially for the level of cleanliness. Joining this gym was a terrible decision, donā€™t fall for the ā€œno sign on feesā€ because they will tack that on to your cancellation fees if not there for a year. Hope this review finds the people on the fence of joining, go support local instead

They close the Therapy pool for swim lessons at weird and very long hours, the pools are never hot. I donā€™t know if the mechanic doesnā€™t know what he is doing or the manager is cheap on the heat or maybe itā€™s just broken but it is never correct. The kids pool is freezing I mean uncomfortably cold like you may as well put them outside in the snow. I get that the lap pool is supposed to be a little colder because youā€™re doing laps but it feels like an ice bath and it doesnā€™t get warmer even with laps. For paying almost $200 a month just to swim and thatā€™s it (because thatā€™s all I choose to do)Iā€™m pretty disappointed. Let me add that the management doesnā€™t care and I donā€™t think corporate cares either. I donā€™t even think they check this. And on the weekends they wonā€™t turn the water on in the kids area till 11 oā€™clock so the freezing cold pool and nothing to for the kids to play on. Cause you canā€™t use slides unless the water is onā€¦

Do not join Villa, it is literally falling apart. Bathrooms are dirty and need LOTS of maintenance. Just walk through the family locker rooms... chairs are ripped and overall dirty. They do not have a good pool person, hot tub is always closed, outdoor adult pool is disgusting green. I can keep going... don't waste your money look somewhere else.

Passive aggressive staff. This took a lot for me to say about the gym Iā€™ve been a member of for 14 years. I walked in with an armload of stuff and when the front desk girl asked what I needed I said check in please. She made me set down everything I had, find the bag my phone was in and get it to use the app because as she was standing there doing nothing, she could not be bothered to check me in on the computer. They also allow parents to break the kids swim hours rules regularly. And the list goes on but you get it. Donā€™t bill yourself as a luxury gym but allow hateful employees. Service means everything.

I was a member for over a year, which gave me plenty of time to encounter numerous issues. When I initially joined, I received offers that I couldn't redeem. I attended various activities, but often faced difficulties checking in due to app glitches. Despite notifying the instructor, I would receive emails threatening extra charges. At the pool, there was consistently a shortage of lifeguards, making some slides inaccessible. On one unfortunate occasion, we were abruptly evacuated from the pool without an explanation, only to discover there was an incident involving contamination. When I decided to cancel my membership, I was shocked to learn that it could only be done in person, with a mandatory 30-day waiting period after submitting the cancellation request. Since I was traveling and unable to be present within 30 days, I ended up paying for an extra two months of membership. My attempts to communicate with Cristy, the supervisor I needed to address these issues with, were fruitless, as she never answered my calls or messages. While I could recount numerous negative experiences, my goal is to caution potential new customers to exercise caution and think twice before joining such an unprofessional company.

This place is such a great gym. Colorado Springs doesnā€™t have a lot of pool options, but Villa has a great indoor and outdoor pool with slides. They offer a lot of nice extras too like legit shampoo and conditioner (instead of that weird hand soap many places have) hair spray, mouth wash, shaving cream etc. they also have saunas and steam rooms. MUCH nicer than chain places like Planet and anytime fitness. Their child area is incredibly nice too with a basket ball court of its own. My only complaint is that they donā€™t have co-ed steam rooms/saunas. Id like to be able to spend time with my husband.

Update: Hot tub back in service. Manager called my wife, and pool rules are being mostly enforced now. Hot tub is back in service. Menā€™s showers are cleaner with some repairs ongoing. Biggest issue for me is people tying up equipment while using cell phones. Both my wife and I liked it for about a month, now not so much. Menā€™s hot tub always had brown debris floating in the foam, that is until the past few weeks that there has been no foam since it has been out of serviceā€¦.ā€waiting on a part for the heater.ā€ My wife goes to exercise on the therapy pool. Families with children stay in there for hours when itā€™s closed to them. She has been forced to do here rehab exercises in the hot tub(when ITā€™S not overcrowded. Often times she just comes home without doing anything. The menā€™s showers smell and look like they havenā€™t been cleaned in months. Smell like urine and mold/mildew everywhere. Fixtures broken and leaking. Desk staff told the wife that they would have the manager call her. She hasnā€™t yet, and no one there was willing to tell parents that family time was over 1-1/2 hrs ago in the therapy pool. Need a manager willing to get the place clean/repaired and enforce policy/rules.

Club is large and not overly crowded in the gym when I go at non peak times. However some group classes are hard to book & need more Yoga classes as popular times/discipline are quickly booked full. Showers need a good clean as there is black mold in grout and slimy walls. Aircon in group workout rooms not working for over 4 weeks with lame excuses from front desk re maintenance program. Good towel service and plenty of free lockers.

Warning, the company knows that their monthly credit card charges commonly get flagged as fraudulent, but refuses to investigate as they benefit from charging late fees and other fees when this occurs. No exceptions made. Both Thomas Carey (billing manager) and Jennifer McKinch know about the issue, but refuse to look into why their automated charges are commonly flagged as fraudulent. In my opinion this is a scam as the charge always goes through when the payment, using the existing CC information in Villa's system, is initiated from the Villa website. As for the facility, we've been going here for a few years and mainly use it for swimming year round and a lot of soaking in the indoor/outdoor hot tub in the winter.

If you want your child to swim during the winter it is not a good decision to choose this club. The water in a pool for children is barely warm,I would say when you get out of the pool it is just freezing. Their therapy pool with the warm water is almost always closed for children to swim. Aquatic staff most of the time doesn't care or their Aquatic manager just being straight rude. We decided (as many other above in comment section) to cancel our membership.

Signed up for a family plan in January so we had a place to take our kids while we work or workout. Cancelled before the first week was over after reading some other one star reviews about how kids would BEG their parents to NOT drop them off at the day care because of how staff treated them. They charged us twice the first day. $422. Refunded half and was supposed to refund the other half but instead charged us again in February despite cancelling my account more than a month before. Locker rooms were gross. Showers look like theyā€™ve never been cleaned. Pool has enough chlorine to bleach your skin. Find a better, cleaner place to workout.

There are positives with Villasport butā€¦.. overall, I have been so dissatisfied for a long time. They have really cut back services and member benefits a lot with the goal to make more and more money. Very difficult to get into classes. They cancelled if not enough people sign up and you have to join waitlists often so canā€™t plan on good workouts anymore. Parts of gym have now been ā€˜roped offā€™ for personal training ($$), for whatā€™s left of our small group training($$), which we pay a lot more for with less choices, and the basketball court. We used to have classes in that area and adult games. Itā€™s far too populated and less staff at outdoor bar/cafe and indoor cafe. Towels used to be at adult pool, sometimes none even at entrance, and limited places to return without hiking back to building. They have also increased our monthly fees in the name of increased labor costs, when they havenā€™t actually increased their pay and have less staff. Hate to rant but I wish I knew this would happen and I had more choices. I would cancel but they make you pay an extra monthly fee plus $99 for process the cancelation.

Villa is the worst. The women who work in the locker room are on a huge power trip and like to kick people out of the sauna for wearing their yoga pants and tank tops. The only reason I pay almost $100 a month is to sit in the sauna after my workout and I donā€™t feel like changing into my bathing suit to do it. They try to rationalize that itā€™s for safety reasons so people donā€™t pass out. For one, I signed a release of liability, so using any of the equipment there is at my own risk. I can pass out naked just as quickly or using any piece of equipment they have for that matter. Iā€™d also like to mention that they serve alcohol at the pool in the summer. Thatā€™s seems a little more of a safety hazard than yoga pants in a sauna. I canceled my membership and will not be returning. Itā€™s also not that nice for the monthly price.

We like the club in Colorado Springs, good gym, awesome classes, overall all is good, but I took 2 stars away because the swimming pool for kids is ALWAYS COLD, it is winter time now but the water is still cold and life guards open outside doors to make it more cold :((( On request to close the doors they refused it saying that it was too hot for them, oh, maybe they need to go to that cold water and understand that it was not so hot at all. My daughter likes the swimming pool and slides but the cold water make the experience not comfortable and not enjoyable at all!!! Then they need to extend Therapy pool hours for kids where the water is warm and nice!!

This place is absolute garbage. They offer a fraction of the services before 2020. They cut their hours because of 2020 but havenā€™t reinstated them. The upkeep of the facility is subpar for a lack of better words. I was in the shower the other day and I happened to lookup at the ceiling which was covered in mold - yummy. There was no drain cover either and that was disgusting but not as bad as the mold infestation. You can tell 90% of the servants hate their jobs too. On top of that weā€™ve been a member there for many years but still get to pay $85 just to cancel. If I ran my place of business the same way I would go broke. Go to Lifetime Fitness or YMCA avoid this place. One more cool caveat even tho we want to cancel as of last week we canā€™t. Theyā€™ve charged us on an irregular schedule and charged us for the full month of September even though we told a manager we wouldnā€™t be using it. Makes total sense of course they would charge us for something weā€™re not using - right in line with them charging for services not offered.

I love working out at Villa Sport. My kids enjoy playing at Villa kids while I take time to workout and enjoy the amenities in the locker room like the steam room, sauna, and hot tub. The instructors are great, especially the cycle instructors. I have yet to get any services at the spa, or the Cafe, so I can't speak to that.

Highly recommend for people who have children! I have been going to this gym off and on for a while now. It is 35 minutes from my house but I am happy to make the drive because of all it has to offer. I am a stay at home mom who goes to school full time. I love that I can bring the kids here and sit in the cafe with an iced coffee to work on school work or workout while they play at villa kids. There are tons of really good fitness classes and I never feel judged or out of place. Everyone that works there is really helpful. The gym is very clean overall and I love that they have towel service as well as wet bags for wet swimming suits and included lockers. After I get my kids (ages 2 and 5) from villa kids we sometimes go to the splash pad they have indoors. They also have a large water park outside as well. I am really appreciative of the lifeguards they have on duty there. They are very aware of their surroundings and are quick to react when someone is doing something they shouldnā€™t. Today I left my cellphone in villakids so I asked my 2 adult friends to watch my kids while I went to grab it. When I came back to the pool area I was informed that my 5 year old (who doesnā€™t know how to swim) went down one of the larger slides and started legitimately drowning. The lifeguard reacted before my friends even realized what was going on and they were very understanding and not judgmental in any way when I showed up and found out what was going on. An incident report was filed and that was the end of it. Not only does this gym have all the amenities you could ask for, their staff goes above and beyond. They saved my sons life today and I am forever grateful!

Membership cost is a bit high, but facilities are well maintained, there are many options of exercise equipment to use, and the variety and quality of the classes offered is fantastic. There are limitations with the functionality and synchronization of the mobile app, but hoping that improvements are in the works. We had a terrible experience with lack of response from the aquatics department and prepaid swim lessons for the kiddos, and eventually got it escalated high enough to just get a refund (still would have preferred to get swim lessons šŸ˜•).

We absolutely love Villa Sport in Colorado Springs. The facility is clean and relaxing. Gym equipment and classes are great, my favorite class was yoga. The pools and clean towel service were our favorite part. We had our kids in child care are got very close with the kind workers. We will always be thankful for the time they gave us to get our fitness in or relax while knowing our kids were having so much fun and well taken care of. We recently moved and cannot find a gym that meets the standard we have from Villa. If you are considering a gym membership in COS - Villa is the place to go!

We decided to shell out for VillaSport and have been extremely happy with the family plan. It's a wonderful deal and the gym/club/cafe have all been very worth the money spent so far. Classes are Les Mills and are very good and demanding! The instructors are all skilled and know what they're doing and the trainers (these are the individual personal trainers) are focused and ready to get you to where you want to be. Staff is courteous and always around to help, or help you find help when you need it. If you're hesitant about purchasing because of the price, just give it a shot. No contracts, pay per month. You'll get your worth in a week.

Amazing, I love the pool there. And the gym, I haven't seen the snack bar items yet but I hope to see them next time I go. At the pool they have these really tall slides, and free pool noodles if you can get your hands on one. Instead of handing them out I guess they just Toss them in the pool. The male locker room is nice, they have a spa area in the locker room which is interesting. They also have showers, a bathroom, and even a little lounge area with a TV. They also have a changing room it seems the little wooden panel things on the door they have are kinda coming off. So that's concerning for my privacy. That's the only issue I have had so far, all the gym equipment is nice, the treadmills are on the second floor and there's windows so you get this nice view of the pool. They also have yoga lessons from what I've seen. Great place.

I really really wish I could actually go to the gym but I canā€™t get my one child in the 2 year old age group into child care EVER in the mornings because itā€™s always booked up. Every time I try itā€™s booked. Even if I try a week in advance itā€™s booked up. I set an alarms between 8- 9am to try and book a slot and by the time I cycle through the calendar to try and book the time slots are all taken. Itā€™s mind blowing. I can only go in the mornings. Booked up every single time. I have been able to go once in the last 6 months and Iā€™m still paying hoping it will get better because I donā€™t want to move to life time and pay more money. I wish there was a better way to get more child care slots in the mornings or else this would be 5 stars lol

We love villa as our gym! My best friend and I signed up a year ago, and we love it. They have tons of diversity in classes. An easy class sign up system, a cafe, clean bathrooms and a couple of pools! I came from lifetime and love the family feel of villa instead!

Need a great place to exercise? Cheerful friendly staff are always welcoming and helpful with a smile. Lot's of state of the art equipment to workout on. Free weights are also located in various places. There is indoor and outdoor pools, an indoor basketball court, and lots more. This gym is very clean. There are antibacterial wipes stationed everywhere throughout the building for sanitizing the equipment you use after your workout. Towels are provided and plentiful. The view is amazing from the treadmill windows! Highly recommend!

Donā€™t come to this gym. Youā€™d be doing yourself a huge favor. It has a lot of things but they are not worth it. I had a gym membership with my family so 5 members and they would charge be $222/month. If youā€™re by yourself it was $97/month by the way. Also if you donā€™t keep your membership ship for a full year they charge you an $85 cancellation fee. On top of all that if you decide to cancel your membership theyā€™ll still charge you for the month after you cancel the membership. I canā€™t be the only one that thinks thatā€™s outrageous right?

I have been going to the gym for long years. From Hawaiiā€™s most expensive gym up to here in COLORADO SPRINGS. This VILLA SPORT IS ONE OF THE SPACIOUS GYM, but stupid rules or STUPID MANAGER Implementing the rules. Not to mention broken equipment not fix. There are more than a dozen members of this gym from my workplace, they all transferred to other gym and 2 of us left here, simply because the location is convenient for us. I respect rules until it become stupid. I receive a call from my sister outside of the country and I have to answer and talk with my Bluetooth. Itā€™s almost closing time , around 9:15Pm. This person call herself Manager for 14 years approached me, cut off my communication saying WE CANT USE OUR PHONE WHILE WORKING OUT. I am in a thread mill and nobody beside me, there are only 5 people far from each other on that floor. This rule if implemented properly is acceptable. The approach she made towards me, is also unacceptable. Closing time, only 5 people in a huge space , and you are telling me not to talk on the phone, because it is a rule! Really??? This is the only gym, that you canā€™t talk. I feel like I am in the church! What if I have emergency at the house? I canā€™t answer??? Really? I got an emergency call from my sister. So, we will be cancelling our membership in this gym. Manager should be fired! If she doesnā€™t know how or when to apply the rule. Not recommendedā€¦ keep away from this place . Other staff in the front are more professional. FIRE THAT MANAGER !!!
