👍👍 The wait time was ridiculous, but that was probably because they had just open when we came in. Nobody was there. We were hangry. I ordered mangu with cheese, eggs, salami, sausages, and a morir soñando. 😋 I was no longer hangry, lol. Everything was good. Pleasant atmosphere too.

I have for many years eaten at Yanets. I particularly like their new premises in La Mulata that has larger seating area and a small play area for children. I took my Caribbean Penguins there as I just wrote three booklets about them visiting La Mulata and Sosua.

Excellent Dominican food for good prices. And the restaurant's cat 🐈 is amazing!

Waited two hours for the food. Paid $200 for food that was less good then the roadside stands in the city. Super hot outside. Forced 20 % tip plus 10% tip plus 18% tax. Very painful experience and mistake going here. The owners of the restaurants in the DR think they are in the US and that they can charge top dollar for food that I can make at home because I’m an amateur cook. Loved our waitress though!

Food was decent as was the cost (when compared to US prices). The biggest issue was the pleasant but incredibly slow service. Restaurant was virtually empty and it took them over an hour to prepare the food. For this reason, I’m giving this an overall rating of 3 stars.

This was our first visit to the new location - love what they have done - the evening service was very professional, wish they had more vegetarian options. We were back the next two days for plato del dia - sooo good - highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area, be prepared for crowds at lunchtime, it is hopping. The evening is a good time to relax outside. They also have an air conditioned room for events.

It's at the entrance to La Mulata so we pass it every time we go out. I decided to have lunch here with my mum to see if it could or regular go-to. We were greeted well and provided with the menu and advised about the buffet option. After being shown all the options available in the buffet, we opted for that; typical Dominican food that was hot and delicious! We did order a side of tostones, which did take a little time but the staff apologised for this (it was made fresh to order). We will definitely be going back. The menu has breakfast options such as pancakes etc and burger options, steak, seafood and much more!

They were friendly, accommodating, and had an extensive knowledge of the menu, making recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal. Overall, La Cocina de Yanet is a must-visit for food lovers seeking a delightful culinary adventure with top-notch service.
