Stayed here for 3 nights and we were delighted with it. Each room has its own entrance from a little cute courtyard. Very clean and everything was thought of. Elaine was such a brilliant and friendly host, never slow to help if asked. The breakfast was unreal, and has to be one of the best we've ever eaten in a B&B or a hotel ... I'm Coeliac, and this was no issue for Sean, I had a full safe plate of delicious food ... Thank you both once again xxxx

Writing this on behalf of Rita and Robin from Ballymena, who stayed 11th to 14th of June. They throughly enjoyed themselves. Elaine and Sean treated them like part of their own family and anything they needed they were only too happy to accommodate. P.s. breakfast was amazing.

We had a beautiful 4 night stay here. Our bed was very comfortable, room was cosy, and breakfast amazing. We used the guest cabin to work from on a few occasions, and it too was cosy and comfortable. We had a few day trips from the b&b. We took the Carlingford Ferry across the water and drove to Newcastle and the Peace Maze. We also had a day out in Newry. We ate at The Old Mill (Carlingford Brewing Co) which was fantastic - check opening days before you go - and of course, we had dinner one night at Fitzpatricks. Everything was great about our stay except the weather! We would highly recommend Riverside to anyone looking for a quiet base in Lough. Elaine is a great host - one of the best.

Riverside Lodge was a very nice experience with our host graciously receiving us later than expected and provided a wonderful full Irish breakfast in the morning. Very personable conversation and helpful sightseeing suggestion. This kind of set a standard for me, thank you.

Riverside B&B was a gorgeous slice of County Louth about 15 minutes from downtown Dundalk. Elaine runs a pretty Bed and Breakfast here, at least six rooms of varying sizes, and was very accommodating to our bed and breakfast needs. Great breakfast. She made pasta for breakfast for our picky son. The rooms had all the things you expect from a decent home establishment, with washcloths to boot. Nice coffee machines and hot water.

We had a hen party of 10 and we booked out Elaine’s lovely B&B! We had the most amazing time here and Elaine was kind enough to let us decorate the guest area and spend the day enjoying ourselves outside. We were looking forward to the breakfast after reading the other reviews and it was incredible ! The rooms, Elaine, the location and the breakfast were all brilliant, I couldn’t fault it in any way. Thank you so much :)

Loved this B&B so quiet and comfortable and only a 10 minute drive from Carlinford. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back and I don't usually go to B&Bs

This is a wonderful b&b! It was easy to find and the owner was very kind and helpful upon arrival. We were given a tour of the property and shown to our rooms. There is a residents lounge with drinks and board games, and a calming, nice view. The owner was also very kind and gave us a lift into Carlingford town. The room was very clean and it had a small fridge with complimentary snacks. The breakfast was amazing and presented well. Overall, my stay here was really good and I definitely suggest this b&b if you’re ever visiting the area. Really a perfect example of a top-notch, amazing b&b!!
