If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Terrible customer service from this motel. When a lockdown was announced that meant I could not stay here I called the hotel immediately. I was told by the hotel that I could move my booking without an issue. When I called to confirm the booking I was told it was cancelled. 1 day later a lady called me telling me that they would be charging me for the night and that it was due to booking.com not them. When I told her that the staff had assured me I could move the date she started raising her voice and basically hung up on me. If this is how they treat potential clients I would hate to see how they treat people who are actually staying there. Not once did I ask for a refund, just the chance to enjoy my stay.

The owner Kim is rude, and incredibly disrespectful. Have never experienced such vile behaviour by anyone, very unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Stayed here while my Husband was in the Prince Charles Hospital. Very friendly,helpful staff at check in. Clean rooms. Walking distance to Hospital , so car could stay parked off the street at Motel. Would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The owner is a money hungry thieve with no respect or customer service skills. Worst experience ever, save yourself the trouble of an awful room combined with aggressive staff and stay somewhere else. 1 star is too high.

Extremely happy with this motel. Walking distance to St. Vincents hospital. Cathy and Rolland were so welcoming and very flexible with our booking changes and extensions when needed. Superb!

Lovely lady at the front desk looked genuinely happy to see me arive she was trying to contact / find me as I was running late and didn't check in until about 5-45pm . The only problem is that there is no Elevator and I had to drag my bags (I am disabled) up the stairs myself she probably would have helped me if I was smart enough to ask for help . Central location. And the staff are welcoming enough. That gets them one star. The four missing are because the rooms are mouldy, the rooms don't get serviced regularly, and junkies permanently stay here - causing trouble!

Awful motel. There's 5 off-street parking spaces for 17 rooms. The reception, foyer and common areas reek of ethnic food. The shower head sprays in every direction it shouldn't and drips all night. The silicon in the base of the shower is black with mould. There's no bathroom exhaust fan and to access the window you need to touch the most disgusting sheer curtain. Last but not least in the bathroom, don't look up, it's pretty mouldy. The owner of this property clearly doesn't care about guest experience. Good luck to them. For a basic small old motel room in the state it is where you have to park on the street the non-refundable price is a joke.

Lady at the front desk looked happy to see me arrive she was trying to contact me as I was running late and didn't check in until about 6:45pm. Anyways the issue was the room was filled with Cockroaches!! It was very uncomfortable and all we could do was put up with it. I don’t just mean 1 or 2 roaches I’m talking about an infestation there was baby ones and everything. I really do wish I read the reviews before booking but now I know for next time. And the passive aggressive sign saying you’ll be fined for ridiculous reasons like showering with the door opened…. Unfortunately will not stay here again. Bathroom felt very filthy aswell. I stayed with 3 other people and we all felt the same way. Disgusting.

Accommodations were dreadful. Dated, mouldy shower curtain and could not scratch yourself without injury the shower is so small. Bed not the best. Light and noise through to door. Passive/aggressive notices with threats to be fined if you leave the bathroom door open when you shower. Really. Provide adequate exhaust system. Noise all night from outside room and constantly dripping water. Dated and depressing decor. Appalling for the price at $240 per night. Would not recommend to my dog.

I booked a lower cost room and so I couldn't expect 5 stars could I? The room was relatively clean, although tired. Service was excellent and friendly and if you need to be in Chermside then the location is great: quiet and central. I would book again.

I would not stay here again. The people were lovely but there was absolutely no parking! The sound of the phone ringing at the front desk and people coming in and out all hours of the night meant you could not sleep… Extra linen in the cupboard had clearly not been washed or washed properly, it was disgusting. For the price I paid I was definitely not impressed.

I watched this morning as the self proclaimed owner took out her insecurities on two employees of a local mowing business. I was in awe as she yelled at these poor guys about the upcoming building next door as to insinuate that they were directly responsible for her frustrations. The basis of confrontation was the trailer of the local company was obstructing the drive way impacting her customers. Which the men responded in a calm kind manner and moved immediately. I can verify that there was a immense amount of room for even the most challenged drivers to get past. If she was so hostile towards others in the society I dread to imagine how she will act towards her future paying customers when the opposing building is completed. For a business who's success can be impacted by their customer service, the owner should lead by example and confront her inner demons to not let them explode on innocent members of the community.

Stole money from a homeless person and refuse to refund it. Did not disclose all costs to stay at the property. Will not handle the issue correctly, after 3 phone calls all of which either unanswered or taken details to call back and never did. Threatening the police on the homeless person after just one phone call to discuss a solution. Booked through booking.com all expenses were paid and they were clear to stay at the hotel only to be told they needed a cash bond, booking.com did not state this, they did not have the cash bond so they cancelled. The court motel refuses to give their money back. Blindsided by the motel, the homeless person just lost the last of their money, and got to sleep on the street that night.

Made the booking online unfortunately. Arrived to be assulted by meat cooking smells at reception that permeated the rooms also. In the morning the smell was dirty laundry. Mold in shower recess and bathroom floor. Bed and pillows clearly well passed their expected life. The only thing going for it was they use a linen service and I could trust that this was clean. I wasn’t expecting much given the price, but strewth... Dont stay there.

DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!! My mother had driven five hours from a rural town to stay here as my brother received a major surgery, the behaviour she received upon check in was completely unacceptable and disrespectful!!!! The owner was so disgustingly rude about parking at check in that my mother did not feel comfortable staying her second night and left early, dropping the keys off. They proceeded to charge her $80 for “not returning keys,” even though she dropped them off at the front desk and was acknowledged by the lady in the back office!! Tried to call to receive a refund of and was accused of lying! Very disgusting that they’re essentially trying to steal money from people in vulnerable positions (with family members in hospital) that often have very limited options for last minute accomodation close by.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the lady at reception was lovely. The hallway smelt of dirty washing machines & damp. The room was poorly ventilated and noisy. There were limited amenities. One of the bowls had old cheese on it. No wine glasses.

Located near Chermside Westfield shopping center and local hospital makes this a convenient and in expensive stay with basic accommodation.

Staff were extremely friendly , rooms great size with microwave and sink. Bathroom a bit small and if you are a larger person may have issues on the toilet ! Overall I would definitely stay here again

Unable to get refund on 2 nights from snap lockdown, stole from us and our daughter who is blind. We had an ophthalmologist appointment that was cancelled traveling from North Qld.
