Great decor and a nice space to be in. App ordering process, but fast service. Nice tequila drinks with cool glassware. Food was decent overall but not amazing. Half price fajitas make it worth, and the taco selection is good. Toilet is pretty dero but success was had.

What a let down 😭 😭 😭 Came here because of decent reviews and a love for TexMex. Below are the things that El Camino should be ashamed of: 1. Customer service. Assignment of tables. We booked in advance and got the shitiest smallest table next to the walking path. Seeing there were MANY free tables I politely asked to relocate us. The hostess said our only other option is to sit at the bar table. Guess what? When we were leaving most of the tables were still free....like why? 2. Food quality. For the price you pay (which is above average) it was so much below average. 3. Margs. Ehm you call yourself texmex restaurant but why your margs taste like sour water? 4. You FORCED to pay through the QR code. When you pay through it you have to pay venue surcharge (6.5%) and payment service fee (on top). What? I'm paying more for owners to be able to employ less staff who normally takes my order? RIP OFF. I won't be back and really puzzled why on earth this place has so many good reviews.

Had never been here before. But I will definitely go again. The Tuesday deal of buy a drink and get cheap Tacos made for the perfect priced dinner. Staff were awesome. Very helpful and service was prompt. Loved the atmosphere also.

Workers were nice. Guac was good. $26 margaritas, however, are not worth it whatsoever. It hardly tasted like alcohol and tasted too sweet. It’s def watered down with some sparkling water. Food was meh, I ordered no beans and had 30% of my plate filled with it. After eating this food, I immediately felt nauseous. Only reason why I gave it a two instead of a one star was because the manager was sweet and tried to help but the food/drinks does not match the costs here, sorry.

Confirm what your getting! Table service would have saved the day. Order through app, all.table orders were missing items and one order had an ingredient specified for removal. Inattention in the kitchen. Ordering through the app, does not = what's in the picture. One person ordered a Margarita off the Margarita page and one off the cocktail page...stick with the cocktail page, if you want something that remotely tastes like a Margarita and not postmix (fine if you want a big night, and the aim is to get drunk on whatever...and not taste). Staff were attentive, however and kind. Food was very tasty. Unfortunately it was small things that let down the overall experience 😕. Particularly a lack of table service. I think this would have negated some of the errors.

What a fun group booking night! First time here and we loved the complimentary corn chips and sombreros of course. Great menu to choose from there was something for everyone. All the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the frozen margaritas!

If you are looking for a cheerful looking restaurant this is for you. We’ll know for their wide hats and big drink glasses. The food portions and also large. I love how they had a nacho station where staff could refill nachos for you if you wanted more. We want on a Sunday lunch time and it wasn’t so busy.

We enjoyed our meals. Surcharge on a Sunday is a bit rough, but we were informed at ordering. Our male server was accommodating.

I came to this place for the first time last Saturday and we were really impressed! We did the drink and food package and really enjoyed all the food and drinks (especially the frozen Margaritas). Staff were also very friendly and polite, special mention to Rose who recommended the package and to Matt from Security who looked after our group. We will be back!

I always wanted to try EL CAMINO frozen margarita which was recommended by my cousins and finally I did! Ordered fajitas BBQ BEEF BRISKET, STRAWBERRY MARGARITA AND A BEER. They have half priced Thursday but I’m not that sure if their promo is every Thursday or just that night we went and I think they also have tacos Tuesday for cheap price. Overall, the food was great, meat was tender, margarita was good and the atmosphere was lively. Definitely will come back for some tacos!

Staff were nice. Food was absolute garbage - half a cooked chicken breast at most, 4 cold tortillas, a couple of strips of barely cooked capsicum and some raw onion. I don't expect 5 star dining, but for the horrendous cost you'd expect something better than what we were given - especially for the 'service' charges we paid for ordering ourselves through a QR code.

Yum! Amazing service. The food was served so fast and it’s exceptional value. I highly recommend the nachos, wings and grape daiquiri (with Nerds on top). Their Mexican hats add to the vibe, margaritas are perfect, and the staff are delightful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The theme is quite festive. I love the sombrero. Not a fan of the chicken wings or royale, too dry. Fajitas and tacos look good. Cocktail drinks are worth the price. Ordering via QR Code is quite efficient. Churros tasted rich, not light or airy, but tasty anyway.

What a vibe. This Mexican restaurant is definitely the place to go if you want fantastic food and a good time! Lunch time is more quiet and relaxing and night time is more of a party vibe! The tacos are super spicy and tasty. Burritos are huge! Love the decor, especially the hats! Staff are very friendly and accommodating 🌮🌯

Great night at El Camino! We were served by Isa who was fantastic, very attentive service and would always check in with us to see how the food was and if we needed more drinks. Couldn’t recommend her more, and deserves a raise.

Our group had such a great time here, Michelle looked after us, she was so nice and helpful, and always had a smile! Our vegetarian friend was also well looked after with delicious options for her. Will be back again, great work tonight team ❤️

The food was satisfactory. We encountered an issue with one of the dishes as it was burnt, and even after requesting a replacement, the second one still had a burnt taste. On a positive note, the atmosphere was enjoyable.

We went to Bowen Hills El Camino and had an absolutely amazing night. Jay was serving us all night. We received our drinks and food very quickly, it was all delicious and well priced. 10/10 would recommend!

Customer service is on point and the atmosphere is even better.. The manager and the waitress kept checking on us to see if we needed anything which was awesome.

OMG. We thought initially that the prices were a bit steep but seeing the serving sizes we realised they were more than justified - highly recommend the steak fajita! Service from Ryan was fantastic!

The food was good, especially the chicken is so soft and cooked to perfection I loved it! The margaritas are big and have a wide variety of other spirits to have. Some of the staff were a bit rude and careless, I asked the guy who brought us the food if he had lime and he responded with “But what do you want? I don’t know, I’m in the bar you’ll have to ask someone else” The overall place is fine

Great Mexican restaurant with an awesome fun vibe. The music is great, the atmosphere is amazing and the service is fantastic. All the food is very delicious and the margaritas are the best. The feast with bottomless margaritas is incredible I would definitely recommend it for an experience you will never forget.

Average food, not as cheap as $2 taco Tuesday is made out to be. Nachos were cold to luke warm. Nachos are not meant to be cool. Sorry but this could be better. The restaurant look itself is great. The table service is fine. Food came out in a timely manner. Basic nachos and a juice was $30, overpriced for what you get.
