Truly best of fine dining. As a tourist not knowing where to dine, I searched online and found this treasure. Located near the river with sunset view and indoor outdoor dining. Very classy restaurant offering delicious quality meals and great service. The fish was moist and done to the perfection. Salad was super fresh and delicious. Drinks were okay. The complementary French buns were so tender, buttery, and delightful. I would dine there again.

This was the perfect anniversary dinner. We live just down the street, and somehow have never been until yesterday. It was great. We were seated promptly (we made a reservation, but it didn’t seem too busy for a Friday night at 6), and welcomed warmly. The waiter was very friendly and well versed on the menu, history, and pairings. The food was delicious. I had the beef tenderloin burger and my husband had the redfish with crabmeat. Both were phenomenal. The pop up bread complementary appetizer was a bit over cooked, but not too bad. We both aren’t fans of strawberry butter in general, but this butter was great! Everything was cooked exactly how we wanted, and tasted better than we could imagine! A great place for special occasions

Stayed on site , had the Redfish and was very pleased with everything. For dessert I ordered the “ K pie” and my mouth fell open at the presentation. Wonderful experience overall .

I will be nicer than the hour delaying waiter that we had to brazenly assume(from his treatment and mannerisms toward my wife and I)we were outside our element. The service was not good AT ALL...until we got a second waiter reassigned mid way through our experience. He was excellent and the manager did her.job to accommodate the poor service, which was Classy of her!!! Thus I gave one extra star above my convictions.

Great restaurant with a different selection of meals and drinks. For a 3 course dinner, you'll be stuffed!! The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is super quiet with calm music. It's a bit pricey but worth it with the quality of the food served.

Elegant restaurant with great menu. Eating at 11:15 on a weekday we were seated promptly, and served water and drinks as well. We ordered the smoked deviled eggs with Roe, Redfish with Crab, and the Low country crab cakes…All delicious and plated nicely. Robust, full flavors. Especially loved the sea grass on the deviled eggs and the flavor profiles on all the dishes. For Dessert we ordered the flourless chocolate cake and bread pudding. These two did not impress. The flavors were a bit weak and did not give the “wow” factor at the end of our meal. Service was good Restaurant was noteably clean and “polished”, down to the salt/pepper shakers. The little bar and hotel lobby were adorable to walk through.

Paulette's is always a great experience! Especially for their Monday night special menu! $23.95 per person got us a 3 course dinner. Their Monday special menu changes each week and is subject to availability of ingredients. Sometimes they have to change the menu at the last minute (as we found out this time). Still, food was up to their normal standards. Our entrees this week were Beef Wellington-ish (yes, really the menu item name) and a Redfish platter. Desert for each of us was the Strawberry Crepe. The other desert option was the Mini K-pie, but that portion size was way too small to get the appreciation for what that desert really is.

Still waiting for pick up Easter morning. Scheduled for noon pick-up. Lobby full of people waiting just like I am. Order comes out about every 10 min. Must be preparing meals one at a time. Needless to say they have grossly mismanaged this.

Placed a phone order in advance for the Easter family meal and was given a specific pick up time on Sunday. Arrived at specified time and had to wait for more than 40 minutes for my meals. Very disappointed in the service here!!

The atmosphere is absolutely fabulous. My friend got the steak with asparagus. His food was 10/10. I had the redfish with potatoes . Anastasia was just great. Awesome waitress . Knowledgeable about food and drinks , attentive and so friendly . Thank you for Mojito recommendation, one of the best in town . Definitely! We enjoyed our experience much. Can’t wait to come back .

The food and service are both great but it's the fresh popovers and strawberry butter that we come for.

  • 4/5 Manuel N. 2 years ago on Google
I would give this place a 3.5 stars. The decor inside is OK but a bit tacky. The food was good, especially the grits. The rest was unremarkable but good. My mojito however was terrible. Unclear how a simple drink can be screwed so bad. Service was good.

Sorry some others had subpar experiences, but ours was excellent. Server Paige was very good and helpful. We enjoyed all of the courses. The sauces were not overpowering, but were an excellent complement to the dishes. We had Paulette's fillet and the redfish. The fillet was excellent, but the redfish stole the show.

The service was good. But the portion size way too small for the amount they are asking for. My husband and I went on Valentine's Day. We can only choose for the menu they create. For $200.00 you should be full. We left Paulette and went to get more food because it wasnt enough.

Wonderful food and fresh baked croissants/muffins. We were not guests of the Inn and traveled there because of reviews. The waitress was excellent. Highly recommend!

I took red fish. taste is similar to steak. If you like mushroom source, go for it. However if you are meat lover, I don't recommend. It was peaceful.

The kind of place that is truly pushing for 4-5 star dining rating. Crepes were nice. Apples could be tended to more closely for cuisine improvement. Nice setting near the River. Hotel adjacent. Good parking.

We stayed at the hotel here and ate breakfast every day at Paulette’s. The service and food were fantastic! We got the American breakfast with eggs over easy and it was cooked to perfection each time. We also loved their breakfast sausages. Our server remembered our order each morning and was really kind. We’ll be back!

One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. The French toast was so amazing. Will be back soon.

Sadly this restaurant experience did not live up to the hype. While our server was lovely, I think he was the only one for the entire restaurant the night we dined. The popovers were good and the crab cakes were a highlight- all crab, beautiful seared, light corn and red pepper salad garnish. The salads were solid. It was the entrees at $50 a pop that fizzled. Overcooked filets, broken sauces, and plated haphazardly. The restaurant itself has a beautiful view of the river, perfect to watch sunset. We wanted to love this place, but sadly I can’t recommend.

The chef and servants make great gourmet food. Im vegeterian, and they were able to accommodate me and my aunt in a very tasteful manner and full of kindness. Just overall amazing experience. Quiet place as well if you need some place to hideout;)

We decided to try this place out and were pleasantly surprised! My friend , who was disappointed w Folks Folly filet migion, gave Paulette's filet a 10! I loved the 3 course dinner option - loved the salmon and the butternut bisque, and the chocolate dessert was amazing. Portions are not huge but definitely were filling for us.

Always dependable great dining experience in this lovely restaurant on Mississppi River. George Falls, owner, has been in restaurant business for years and always there to welcome diners. Enjoy a drink in the restaurant bar, in the lovely bar area (part of hotel) or on the roof overlooking river, gorgeous Memphis sunsets and exciting lighted bridges across the bridges. Always a beautiful menu..whatever u eat, share a dessert. Our favorite is warm brownie with ice cream n hot fudge sauce. (Hint...ask for extra fudge sauce).

I came here with my Dad for a celebratory dinner for finishing the first draft of my novel, and this place was absolutely wonderful. Paige was our server, and she was great, attentive and knew both the entree and wine menus very well. Gave good recommendations and grabbed a second basket of popovers. Now to the cooking! The popovers we had were awesome. Light and airy, very well made. For the main entree, I had the redfish and crab. They were also skillfully prepared, a flaky fish drizzled in a great butter sauce. Finally, the K-pie, wow! Great ice cream with coffee undertones and toffee topping, served with a coffee liqueur to pour on top. The one negative thing I could say is the serving size for the K-pie is overwhelming for one person and still a little much for two people. However, if I'm scrounging to say you gave me too much dessert, that means you run a great restaurant. Overall, wonderful meal, and good luck on your degree, Paige. Hope you can get your practice. :) Okay! Just took some time to head inside and listen to the piano. Jim Johnson is a wonderful man. Great pianist and wonderful to talk to. Drop a couple dollars in his bowl sometime and sit back to listen.

Everything was great. Atmosphere, good, service. I went for an early lunch and ordered something light and couldn't resist dessert. The pan roasted salmon with the creamy soy ginger sauce was having me think about licking my plate. The chicken crepe was also good but not as flavorful as the salmon.

This restaurant brightened my day! I ordered Chicken Sicilian to go with a desert and it was perfectly cooked and quite savory. I travel for work and eat out a lot. This was delivered to me and tasted like it was fresh from the kitchen. The flavors were unique and the crispy chicken was out of this world. I wish I knew how to cook chicken like that. This restaurant also uses sustainable packaging.
