we showed up and didn’t have a reservation but still got sat, which was nice since the restaurant was booked up for the next month. unfortunately we werent even acknowledged until we sat for about 10 minutes, and the restaurant wasnt even full at that point. We ended up ordering the tasting menu consisting of 10 dishes and 3 desserts. in terms of food, the presentation was nice but the flavors seemed disjointed together. dishes felt like they just pulled ingredients out of a hat and didnt even taste it before serving. a lot of it seemed forced, simply for the sake of it being experimental or different. theres so many amazing restaurants in cadaques, for example restaurant marina around the corner (go there if you have time). this was the most expensive meal ive had in spain and i was expecting to have the best meal of my life here, but it was nothing close to that. my favorite part of the meal was the banana shaped bowl one of the desserts was served in and the still water was good (ended up ordering 3 bottles just to wash the flavors out of our mouths). to be honest id prefer a scoop of gelato from any of the countless places in the area. but maybe we just got a bad tasting menu…i wish anyone going here well. i think the individual dishes may be better considering not many people ordered the tasting menu and seemed to enjoy their time there…

Excellent service with very polite and friendly staff. The food however was extremely disappointing. The mango and coconut curry sauce oyster was good and the banana dessert with yogurt, cookie, and lime was also great. The sardines with vanilla, raspberries and pistachio doesn’t make any sense. The flavours are completely off and extremely detached. The croquettas that were supposed to be cod were filled with way too much garlic and served with honey vanilla sauce? Like why? I am not getting what the Chef is trying to do between savoury and sweet. It is not working. The disaster was also the anchovies that are the saltiest thing you can ever taste. The tuna was ok but tasteless if you do not mix welll with the sauce and it was unseasoned. I know Compartir is a big name and I am sure they will come back strong but I didn’t have a good experience but that also doesn’t mean whoever is reading this review will as well. Give the place a try and I am sure they will come back strong.

Incredible. We had the tasting menu which is 10 dishes + 3 desserts and absolutely loved it. Contemporary and creative cuisine cooked with local fresh produce. Amazing value for money.

Total disappointment. Apart from the crab dish, just a bunch of mediocre tapas with a twist. Service was professional but didn't bother to ask for feedback about the overall experience.

I knew I would love Compartir even when I was making the reservation. I asked if kids were ok and the response was of course they are our future clients. The same welcoming, warm feeling was there throughout our dining. The staff is extremely nice! The food was so delicious and gorgeous both visually and taste wise! We are so happy we got a chance to eat at Compartir on our visit to Cadaqués!

The tapas were spectacular. Every little detail is top-notch. My favourite the artichoke & prawn rice and the pumpkin salad! 🥘

Normally I would say: in one word together: PERFECTO!!!! But with just saying that I would commit a crime. The food here is so fresh and so good, and it has so many taste en looks so beautiful that you really don’t wanna touch or eat it. But when you touched it with your lips and tongue you want to go further to experience the explosion of taste in your mouth! We will come back here for sure!!! And we want to thank all the staff and crew for the wonderful food and your kindness and service! You guys where very professional and for me you have atleast 2 Michelin stars!!✨👌🏾

Just had lunch at Compartir and wow did they deliver! Delicious local cuisine with beautiful wines to match. We created our own tasting menu consisting of scallops, razor clams, tuna cannelloni, and an amazing salad. Special thanks to our server Cristina who provided great suggestions. Big ups to the chefs and pastry chefs.
