Although Abbeywood retail park at Filton, Bristol was refurbished in early 2014, I think this store must have been missed, definitely time for a refit and a splash of colour. That said, the products on sale here cover all ages from adult and teenagers to young children. Pricing here is very competitive and some great deals can be found. There are also a large range of household items and decor. The only thing that puts me off with this type of store, is having to negotiate the chicane of cheap tat while trying to get to the till. Nice range of clothes, including babies, kids, men's and women's sections. Fairly priced although the sizes are quite hard to judge depending on what you plan on buying due to material.

This shop is a great place if you're looking to buy t-shirts. You can get really good quality 'slim fit' style t shirts cheaply from here. None of that obnoxious logo pictures on t shirts. Prices are the best

Bought 3 pairs of sale trousers to try on at home because the changing rooms aren’t open. Tried to return them for a refund today and I can’t because they’re sale items. Surely in the current climate and with the changing rooms closed there should be an exception on this rule. I wouldn’t have bought if that was the case. Lady manager was unhelpful and repeated back a load of T&C jargon. Now I have a useless Matalan voucher I’ll probably never use.

Nicely organised shop with great shopping experience. I am always able to use my offers. They also have regular sales items for a reasonable price. Big thumbs up to Jake who helped me with my discounts and making the shopping easier, the most helpful guy ever and definitely the employee of the month. Keep up the good work.

Nice selection of clothes and I love all the home decor! Till area just a little bit too cluttered, was a struggle pushing the buggy through. Staff members are helpful and friendly.

I alway go there and make sure wear suit fit any clothes. Or looking online . I am not sure. I prefer and see real and what like material clothes shop.

It's OK and has a reasonable range of stuff. Prices are good, however, i wanted some bog standard fluffy socks, you know the type, packs of 4, brightly colored and normally with stipes or stars, but they didn't have them! C'mon Matalan, fluffy socks are a winter staple! For this blunder I give you 3 stars.

Have not been here for years, but surprisingly good clothes for men's, though selection is small. Unfortunately the S size is often out of stock so end up buying online. If anyone from the store reads this, please stock more size S.

Visited Matalan Filton last weekend. When I arrived at the counter with my purchases, I found 2 members of staff having private conversation. Though I was the only customer at the time, I was told to use self service. Unfortunately I had to call staff member back twice. As firstly my barcode wasn't accepted then as I tried to leave the alarms were triggered, so had to ask to have security tags removed. I understand at busy times the self services are practical. But as the staff had time it would have been much quicker and less stressful to have been served by a staff member.

Shut before 7pm on Friday the 21/10/22 I wanted to collect my item and arrived at 6:50pm to find that the doors where already locked

I used to like going into matalan, you could always find something you like. I feel its gone down hill and surprised their still trading i would say Primary is much better
