This is one workout, going back up is a workout. Don't go to fast. The best part is when you approach the stairs you can hear the falls. Best to see after a good rain or misty rain day. The water comes down the side of the hill. You get down to the bottom and walk out to other areas by the lake to look out at beautiful nature. One of the most peaceful places I have ever visited and worth the hundreds of steeps. I highly recommend if you have breathing or heart issues, be very careful and cautious.

Very easy and light activity that kids will enjoy. About 300 steps to come down and then to get back up. You can cool down in the springs - water is very cold! The nature views are 🔝

Great hike! 300 steps are easier going down than up. There are benches on the stairs for breaks if needed.

I loved this little place. There are 300 steps to take and they are pretty steep, but the scenery is absolutely stunning. To see the spring, well, springing out of the side of the hill and feeding the river is nature in all its glory. It's a good workout walking around there several levels. I truly felt like I was in nature while still having the conveniences of walkways and stairs. Please be considerate and take what you came with only and leave nothing behind that isn't already there.

Beautiful place, nice walkways, lots of stairs. Bathrooms are decently maintained, bring your own hand sanitizer. Plenty of places for beautiful pictures, lookout spots on the river.

Largo Springs is beautiful. You can go down 300 steps to get to the lake. You should be in good shape to do that.

The bottom is worth it and is so beautiful. The springs have a nice boardwalk system above the flowing waters with several platforms looking out at the lake's wetlands. Very tranquil. If you visit on a weekday, you'll most likely have the place to yourself.

I also visit here every year and it's so far my favorite place in Michigan but the stairs will make your exhausted if you're not prepared. Completely worth every single stair for how beautiful this place is.
