Enhorabuena chicos!!

Can’t miss experience... you will be delighted by the history of the “finca”, the project behind that is their universe, a restaurant based on a Multiple Michelin star chef with a foundation that uses the restaurant as a mean to provide opportunities to people with some type of disability, but that have the strength to provide the customers with the best experience you will ever have in a restaurant. It was an honor to be part of it and learn about the staff, chef and family history plus a variety of plates that will leave you longing for more. Be prepared for delicious foods, wines and amazing service. I hope to make it back one day

Don’t miss this experience! Everything is wonderful, the building, the setting, the food, and the concept. The building is a 200 years old type of garden house or orangerie with lots of windows into the garden, very peaceful. You are served a multi courses tasting menu. Taste and portions are the ones of a gourmet restaurant. Ingredients and quality are local and first class. Compared to the rest of Europe prices are very competitive. And the wine pairing at 10 euros a person even ridiculously cheap. And going to Universo santi you are part of a wonderful project: everybody who worked there is disabled, a term they use themselves. Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, shortened limbs etc. And everybody seems so happy to work there and produce such wonderful food for the guests.

I visited the restaurant a couple of months ago (without eating) and was impressed by the social concept and enthusiam behind the Universo Santi. My high expectations - also based on Google reviews - were not met. Overall, the price-value, location, service and food was good, but: - It was not exceptional, especially compared to other places in Jerez; - We didn't see a single handicapped person (whose inclusion is supposed to be at the core of the restaurant); - We were a bit annoyed by lots of noice coming from the kitchen and cheap, repetitive music from the bar; - The restaurant was empty, only four guests were served on a Thu evening; - My napkin had moist. I really hope things get back under control, as the project has so much potential to be something really special.

🫤 Great price (13.95€ per person) for a buffet. They have a selection of different Italian foods like pastas, pizzas and salads. However, the food can get a bit repetitive and boring the second time you stand up to fill up your tiny plate. The quality wasn’t great either, the Milanesa Chicken (bread...

👍👍 This was my favourite place in Jerez. It has character and soul. Felt really authentic, rammed with locals, fantastic service, great food and great sherry. Staff were fantastic, really friendly. Wish I had a place like this near me.

🫤 To be honest, in my opinion the restaurant is overrated. The meat was very dry and flavorless. The bun itself was a little bit sweet (maybe someone like’s, but not me. For two persons we payed 40€ and we only had one burger each and one large beer each. I do not recommend. The only positive things w...

👍👍 We stopped by for a quick bite and even though the kitchen was closed the guys were so nice to serve us with a warm dish of freshly fried french fries and a piece of tender bull tail. The meal was delicious and the staff was very kind!
