The
place
is
as
amazing
as
you
can
imagine.
I
honestly
recommend
to
park
your
vehicle
1km
away
from
it,
along
the
main
road,
and
take
a
long
walk
until
the
lighthouse.
Part
of
your
path
can
be
done
with
your
barefoot
on
the
soft
sand
(as
you
get
closer).
The
views
are
superb,
and
although
the
lighthouse
is
not
open
for
visits,
it
feels
great
to
still
see
such
a
majestic
building
resist
through
time
and
harsh
weather.
There's
a
beach
close
by,
which
was
empty
by
the
time
we
went
there
and
looked
very
tempting
for
a
swim
and
some
tan.
But
we
didn't
as
our
party
was
composed
by
2
humans
👫and
a
schnauzer
miniature
🐶.
Beware:
dogs
are
not
allowed
on
most
of
the
beaches
in
Portugal.
From
October
on,
most
of
the
beaches
are
not
supervised
(well..
just
like
in
Spain),
but
locals
told
us
we
could
go
to
that
beach
with
our
pup
(we
were
tempted
but
didn't
went
just
because
we
had
scheduled
other
things
to
do).
There
were
some
enjoying
it,
very
happy
and
well
behaved!
Note
that
a
big
board
tells
you
that
taking
a
dog
to
the
beach
gets
you
a
600
eur
fine.
Overall,
totally
worth
it.
