👍👍 I’ve just come home from ward E were I had hip replacement surgery and I can’t thank the staff enough. Everyone was welcoming, kind and very easy to talk to. I was treated with dignity and compassion, from the Consultant to the cleaners everyone was excellent. I also enjoyed the company of the two... A very well organized and excellent elective center for patients in and around this area. As a visiting surgeon, I love the environment that radiates positive vibes. Great infrastructure. Ginormous campus area. Amazing location. Uber clean. Courteous hospital staff. Superb hospital to work in.

I was treated with dignity and compassion, from the Consultant to the cleaners everyone was excellent. I also enjoyed the company of the two ladies who were operated on the day I was, we got on well and I know that the fully positive atmosphere made a difference. Thank you Neath Port Talbot Hospital and all the staff I met with during my short stay.

Very mixed feelings on this health building, it's crossed between a large health centre, a part-time A&E (who work very hard) The blood team work nonstop here. This place seems to lack a lot of hospital facilities however the staff do their utmost best to provide the best service possible. This place also has a cafe, onsite parking, and a creche facility with frequent buses between Neath and Port Talbot.

A+E Really poor service , is doesn't need to be they make work for themselves in many ways. Some nice staff but some need to learn some patient empathy. Your in the wrong profession if your talking about patients in a negative way between staff members ! Go work at Lidl !

Just arrived home after a total knee replacement. Was overwhelmed by whole experience. Every aspect of my treatment was First Class! The Staff, Food, and general care were magnificent. What an advert for the NHS in these difficult tlmes. I don't think that a private hospital could have treated me better. Many thanks to all concerned.

Had occasion to visit the minor injuries dept yesterday and can’t speak to highly of the attention I received .The staff were pleasant and professional at all times. Waiting time was not unduly long. Came away satisfied that I had the best of attention. So grateful.

The minor injuries department is genuinely the worst place I have ever been to, time and time again I have a bad experience there as well as people I know do too. The staff are vile and should be ashamed of themselves how they speak to people and act. There are also no doctors in the minor injuries unit so when I very clearly had a broken thumb and two broken fingers on my X-ray they took the nurses ‘couldn’t actually tell me it is broken”. Is this place real? The waiting room is also dated, dirty, and has no food and drink facilities.

This is not a medical/patient review but from someone who regularly acts as transport/carer for an outpatient. The facilities for sustenance are very poor. The coffee machine available to non-staff although cheap at £1 provides what I can only class as half a cup of undrinkable coffee with an inch of froth on top of it. I thought as covid is on the decline the cafe would re-open to the public as in other hospitals I’ve attended recently but sadly no.

Had to use the minor injuries unit on a Saturday am whilst away from our home. Got in at 10.30am and was seen by triage/ Dr within the hour. Thourough examination given and also going meds & advice. This was the 2nd hospital we tried but relieved to be seen and treated in a kind and respectful manner. The clinic was filling up fast as we left so we could tell they were going to be busy!!

The nicest hospital I've ever experienced. It's clean, relatively easy to get parking and the staff actually smile at you and each other. I've been to several hospitals in my lifetime (unfortunately) and this is easily the most pleasant. If I ever fall off a horse, stub my knee on a boat or contract a nasty bout of tetanus, I want to be brought here. High standard of care, and good facilities. Though to be fair, it has gone downhill a bit since Morriston took it over...

I'd sincerely like to thank the Minor injury unit today for taking very quick action in caring for my two year old daughter. We were seen very quickly, therefore, a very fast service. The entire team were friendly, knowledgeable, understanding and completely professional. The nurse practitioner was unbelievable, (I believe she was called Hannah although I could be wrong) she knew the issue within less than 2 minutes of assessing my daughter and resolved it with a quick manipulation of her arm. I was genuinely surprised by the efficiency and overall excellent care of this NHS service. Thank you team.

I visit neath and port Talbot hospital this morning ,especially to nurse who attended me with issue, gone and above their duty to make sure I was comfortable , they’re were professional, staff was amazing, extremely, excellent, explained procedures with ex rays needed , support was over and above their duty , X Ray took Less than a min . Staff at Neath and Port Talbot have a lot of professional approach and empathy to each patient they deal with , which made my experience at ease. Wishing I had taken the nurse who delivered absolutely outstanding professional care , she was absolutely understanding !!!!! . Give me so much understanding what I need and also information how after care information. Absolutely outstanding!!!!!! . Know know if needed I’ll definitely go to Neath and Portalbot hospital. Regard to all at Neath and Portalbot hospitals. Regards Dawn Davies

Went in to ward E for surgery on my achillies tendon. All I can say is wow and what a fabulous hospital. Wonderful care from the moment i arrived on the ward. en-suite room on my own with tv. My assigned nurse Amy was wonderful nothing’s to much trouble for her and carried out with a wonderful personality at all times. Praise also to Megan the student nurse who was caring and compassionate. Massive thanks to miss claire Topliss the surgeon this lady really cares about her patients and always in a refreshingly friendly and warm manner. And is always ready to answer any questions you may have and provide reassurance. Unfortunately there is always someone you will not hit it off with for me the only bad point in an otherwise wonderful stay was the anaesthetist. Who had a my way or the highway attitude and was brusk and unfriendly. Totally the polar opposite to his assistant roger who was a warm caring man who put a very frightened me at ease in the aneasethic room. THANK YOU NPT HOSPITAL & THANKYOU NHS

I cannot thank the staff at the hospital enough for the treatment and support I received yesterday. I didn't catch all the names but from Jackie on initial checking in to my Bailey who operated, they were so professional and thorough, nothing was too much for them. Only downside was my waiting time to go in but its expected. Mr Bailey is a true gent and I'm already confident the knee surgery will be a success... Thanks again Sean Thomas

Gynaecology centre is shocking. The secretary never answered her phone. After a long process I finally saw the gynaecologist Ms Knight a couple times, she failed to diagnose me, after a nhs investigation she made numerous mistakes even calculating a test wrong. She then wanted to perform a small surgery (which thankfully had a backlog). Thankfully I saw a private gynaecologist who diagnosed me in 10 minutes with a simple calculation. The gynaecologist here was impossible to contact and get an appointment with, it definitely wasn’t worth it, as she recommend birth control as an easy solution without finding the problem. Do not recommend waiting on a waiting list, then on the receptionist, then on an appointment list to see this gynaecologist. It’s upsetting to see serious health problems undermined and treated with “birth control”.

Very organized, needed to have a chest x-ray, booked at 11 am, got there at 10:55 sat in the reception for a few minutes was called in to the second waiting area. A few minutes later called into the changing room, then into the x-ray room. Everything explained to me, x-ray taken, dressed and back to the car. All of this in under twenty minutes from parking and leaving. Fantastic service.

My daughter hurt her leg, and we then drove to neath and port Talbot hospital as it was recommended by a friend as they had a pleasant and quick experience. On arrival, there were a few people waiting to be seen but that was expected as we went up later on through the day but we was only there for four ours unlike Morriston hospital which the wait was 11hours!😖 so we were so thankful couldn't of had better doctors and nurses seeing to our daughter as she fractured her femur. Thank you again to all the NHS staff!!
