The place is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. I feel like the taste of the food is sub par to the reviews on here. A lot of people eat at expensive restaurants and just think the food is amazing. Yes, the food was good no doubt. But not "amazing" by any means. The salmon came with unseasoned green beans and barely flavorful rice. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller and they were good. Really good, but not great. I also ordered the Tempura Lobster Bites. Over cooked and rubbery. Not the best. But it's hard to cook anyways. The Buttery Shrimp is deep fried which I found weird. I thought that they would be pan cooked. It was recommended to my fiance when I said he wants shrimp. LOTS of shrimp. So, we didn't know what to expect. It was butterflied to make it look like there was a lot of shrimp. Only like SIX pieces served on deep fried onion strips. Served with french fries, ketchup, tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. Again, good food but NOT worth the $$$ it costs.

When planning a trip to St Louis for our anniversary, we were looking for restaurants that took reservations and were anniversary worthy. What I ran into a lot was that these types of restaurants seem closed on Sundays after lunch and or closed all day Monday. I ended up choosing Landry's because A. They were open and B. They took reservations. I typically would not have chosen a chain restaurant while visiting a new city but in this case did. I will first say that getting to the restaurant is interesting because it's right outside the Aquarium under the "awnings". We walked from our hotel but I immediately noticed I would have had a hard time parking because of the location. There were lots of barriers and road blocks to circumvent. We arrived 5 min before our reservation and were seated quickly. I almost ask to be moved because of all the space in the entire restaurant we were seated the second table in from the door in the middle of 3 other parties. I guess they were trying to keep the servers tables close together. But the tables were close and you could hear conversations without trying to listen It was awkward. I ordered a glass of wine and calamari and were told we would get bread. We never did. The calamari was very good and the peppers that were cooked with it were a nice touch. My main dish was a surf and turf and my husband got some kind of Seafood Pasta. I thought my meal was very good and was perfect portions of all that came with it. My husband's pasta was lacking any flavor to the sauce and was similar to any pasta dish at any chain restaurant across the country. We were offered a dessert menu but since it was our anniversary, the waitress brought us a bread pudding with a candle. It was a very nice gesture but I was kinda wanting something else and I would have gladly paid for it. Overall I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant was clean and looked nice. We were seated quickly with our reservation and had a nice night in general. I would go back but maybe not for a special occasion.

This was my first visit to Landry’s Seafood House and it is a very beautiful decorated restaurant….. The food not as much celebrated. I had the shrimp scampi and it had NO FLAVOR AT ALL (ALL CAPS). If you look in the photo there doesn’t appear to be ANY SEASONING on this dish at all…..!!!!!!! They do offer a happy hour and the prices are reasonable for happy hour. Not sure if I would want to spend more than just happy hour prices. Food flavor needs IMPROVED DRAMATICALLY. NowI will say the RASPBERRY LEMON DROP MARTINI that I had was Amazing. Everyone’s taste buds are different but mine were not interested in what Landry’s was offering. I would suggest try it and you may like it.

A good place for a celebration. The prices are high though. I did like the food items that we ordered. I wish there were options that had more veggies that would be diabetic friendly

A great dinner experience. When we were seated we were told that Nikki was going to be our server. I was thrilled because I had read a recent review that mentioned her by name. She delivers great service - friendly, polite, professional! The food was delightful, the service was awesome. We'll be back! (Tuesday 11-16-2021) Interesting note - two different servers named Nikki in a week, both were awesome!

Went in right before closing and didn't know if we would even be seated. Very grateful they sat us as we were just turned away by the restaurant next door. Our server Josh was awesome, especially with my kids. Food and drinks were perfect.

We arrived at opening on a Sunday after viewing the aquarium so we had no wait. Service was great. Waitress kept glasses full and she brought out our kids food immediately when it was ready which I really appreciated. I ordered the oyster po boy. It was huge! I would definitely get this again. My husband ordered the fried platter. Food overall tasted great.

Will be back. Bartender was on it, she never wrote down anything and didn't need to. The red fish etouffee was awesome, salad was fresh (and inexpensive to add). The Mahi was over seasoned and salty, completly inedible apparently new prep person in the kitchen. They swapped it out for the red fish quickly so no biggie but nothing offered for the inconvenience either. It was a weekday and not busy, so plenty of space for social distancing.

Absolutely amazing. Make sure you get reservations definitely worth it. I believe Josh was our waiter both times we went. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu. Very welcoming and overall just an amazing experience with staff. Not to mention the food is PERFECT. Definitely a place you want to splurge and live your best life at!

We caught this place on a busy night for 1 very large party that was scattered throughout the restaurant. The ambience was too noisy for that reason but besides that, this was my only complaint. The food and the service was great. Clean establishment. Great staff. Fresh seafood!!! Our waiter was great and gave decent suggestions. We ordered the crab artichoke spinach dip, the blackened red fish with etouffee and the broiled tilapia with a crab and white cream sauce over it. Both dishes were served with green beans that were more al dente than we would've liked. Overall the experience was decent. With a nice tip $100 was the total bill. If you're looking for a wide variety of seafood, I would recommend it here.

Had a wonderful meal here. Our server, Josh, was very knowledgeable. The food was amazing a served quickly. I had bourbon honey glaze salmon. She had a topping added to her salmon. The menu is like nothing anywhere else. Very unique flavors. Set inside Union Station which has a pond in the middle that has fire shows on the hour. We had the crawfish bread as an appetizer.

Fantastic, as always! This is my favorite location for Landry's. The atmosphere is amazing in Union Station, the Chilean Sea Bass was buttery/flakey perfection topped with chef special lump crab and white wine sauce. A little pricey, but worth the splurge! Josh was amazing and super helpful waiter! Thanks for great night celebrating our son's birthday.

Such a great evening out! We were in town & stopped by here on our walk. It’s a beautiful location right by the Farris wheel & Fire & Light show. We had a table right by the window. The food was great & Josh was the BEST waiter! He was very knowledgeable about the menu & drink options. Top notch service! Will be back again!! Thanks for a great dining experience.

I had big expectations and I was pretty satisfied. Service was good, atmosphere was nice and the food was on point. My fish could have used a little sauce and I asked my waitress apparently forgot. That would have made this a 5 🌟 review.

This was our first time getting to visit Landry's, after hearing many good things about it, and it did not disappoint! We went for dinner on a Saturday evening and waited approximately 30 minutes, which they texted us when our table was ready so that we were able to go walk around while waiting. Landry's is located inside Union Station between the aquarium and carousel/wheel. Our waitress as well as all of the other staff we talked to that night were great. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the crab/spinach dip, kid's mac & cheese, stuffed mahi mahi, soup, and deserts. Highly recommend visiting!

Stopped for dinner/happy hour before the Blues game. Cydney was my bartender and she was fast, efficient, super sweet, made sure I had everything I needed, and made the BEST drinks. I had a happy hour margarita and then another one made strawberry. They were both so damn good. Best margaritas I’ve had in awhile…which is fitting because it was National Margarita Day. I can’t say enough good things about the food too. I had clam chowder for my app and was given a choice of soup or bread…I chose bread and it went so well with the soup! It was warm, creamy, and balanced with tons of clams too. Very comforting. My entree was the Seared Scallops and that dish was so delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing by themselves but the sauce with the scallops was incredible. It also had orzo, lightly cooked spinach (not wilted at all), and tomatoes. A bite with a little bit of everything was pure heaven. This meal hit the spot so much. From the host to the servers to the manager…everyone was very warm and welcoming. The manager was making laps frequently and checking in on things. While I understand he had his own responsibilities it would have been nice to see him help bring dirty glassware that had built up at the bar due to happy hour back to the kitchen. The bartender/cocktail server were too busy taking great care of their guests. But that is nitpicking on my experience. The bar was still clean and well kept…just could’ve used a dirty glass runner. Would come back anyday that Cydney is working for sure! She’s a badass boss lady bartender! 👍🏻

Everything about my experience was great here. Our waiter was so friendly and professional, everyone greeted us as we walked in. The chef's special Chilean seabass was delicious and just melted in my mouth. The raw oysters were good and fresh too! Overall I definitely would go back

One of our favs!! My wife and I had our first date here 6 years ago. Food is amazing and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Great seafood spot in StL.

The only reason I give it a 4 is price, tables and size of fish to bread. The tables were un even like leather covered so our drinks were unbalanced and my water tipped over. My husband got the Mahi sandwich and it was 80% bread. He is not a picky person and he ended up tossing the bread and just eating the fish. Salad was acceptable.

MAGNIFICENT! There’s only one word to describe the service that my dad and I received this evening and it’s magnificent! It’s my birthday weekend and I wanted top-notch service, so I came to Landry’s. The hostess introduced me to Latavia. She was a dynamic waitress who listened, was prompt, and made excellent recommendations. This is the cities best kept secret and Latavia was the icing on my birthday cake! I’ll be sure to bring all of my family here when we have out-of-town relatives because the atmosphere is dynamic! Hats off to this AWESOME team‼️✨

I went here with some friends while our school was on a field trip. It took about 2 hours to get a table and get our food. The food was pretty expensive but worth every penny. We had 7 people and no one left hungry, although the lobster tail was a little bit smaller than expected.

This is a place I highly recommend not only because of the great food but also because of the setting, behind Union station hotel which can be accessed from the left hand side of the hotel (as you look at it, if you came here walking, as we did) right near the big koi carp pond, which we had to feed later on due to missing our own koi carp at home. As I was wondering around, I arrived a bit later than my other half to join a queue when my other half did not have to wait at all, as he said, and reached him as his table near the windows overlooking the pond - that is simply gorgeous. The food was amazing too, as per my pictures and the staff was very friendly and efficient despite being super busy: lobster tail with steak and shrimp plus a steak for me - I am salivating simply looking at my pictures!!!

Great seafood with excellent services in a maritime theme restaurant. The seafoods are fresh and delicious, and the portions are very generous for the price you pay. You have to try the banana foster, but be sure to save some stomach for this dessert, because it can easily feed two or three people.

On my visit to STL from the CHI, I visited Landry's Seafood located in Downtown St.Louis which is also located at The Union Station / The Wheel if your confused so was I but after a call and a few directions I made it right on time for my reservation. I was pleasantly surprised upon entry the atmosphere was a feel and cross of Joe's Crabshack & Red Lobster just to clarify the decor but definitely not the offerings. I started with a bowl of Landrys Gumbo which had an orange roux base with bits of celery, small shrimp, diced andouille sausage and whitefish. The flavor was mild and it was definitely not the "Gumbo" I am used too but it was a nice starter once I added a bit of salt and pepper 😉 it was served with lightly toasted bread smeared with garlic butter and sliced where you could pull finger sized portions. To drink I kept it simple and had a mocktail called the Flavored Palmer that comes in either Peach or Blackberry and true my fashion I requested a mix of the two and the bar obliged. I chose the Fresh Catch Pontchartrain for my entree which was Broiled Tilapia and crab in a white wine cream sauce served with "seasonal accompaniments" which were rice pilaf and green beans, Additionally I chose to add an "Over the top" selection of "Melissa" (sauteed, shrimp, crab, scallops and mushroom) atop my entree. DELICIOUS 😋 And for the finale I ordered the Carmael Bourbon Apple Cake served with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.....so so YUMMY. To top it off my waitress Latavia A. was the ABSOLUTE BEST !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️she was friendly and very accommodating and pleasingly conversational she even assured me that my chosen selections were excellent choices and baby I whole- heartedly agreed 👍 ❤️ the entire meal was light but really filling and the desert was a perfectly sweet ,fruity and full of textures vanillaly (not an actual word but IYKYK)whipped cream, chewy caramel, gooey soft butter cake, sweet/tart apple ,cool creamy ice cream and a sugar cookie graham cracker crumble . I was told the dessert is new to the menu by 3 days .....I'm glad I was here for it because I'm here for it. I enjoyed the night by walking the Koi pond right outside the restaurant and feeding the Koi that Latavia suggested and even brought me some quarters for. She was the STAR of the night. I truly appreciated her great personality and service which is hard to come by these days. Check out the pics 📸

The waitress was very nice, she asked us if there was a special occasion and we told her it was our anniversary! She had asked us how long so it was very personable. The dinner was great, it was taking a while so she offered a free salad and shortly after our food came out. The end of our lovely dinner she came out with an amazing cheesecake with a candle to celebrate our special day, again the cheesecake was free. Thank you for making our night great!
