Shameless is my go-to cafe for brunch, coffee, and a good atmosphere. The menu has a great variety of food (though I normally stick with the "Morning Woodstocker" or "Lumberjacker"), the coffee is satisfying, and the staff are always kind. Great place for reflection and connection 😄 Oh! And I love the brownies and zucchini bread they serve. COVID Update: They've been handling things well, no more bodies than the space can safely allow. And the outdoor enclosed patio seating has safely spaced-out tables. Update 2: They're now allowing limited indoor seating, 1-hour at a time, and there's a set entrance door and an exit door. My favorite part about this update is that I can order bottomless coffee again 😅

I absolutely love this place. The coffee is amazing, and if you cannot make up your mind, there's a wheel of indecision that led me to get a Crowley, which I definitely recommend. They are always polite, I'm happy that they still require vaccine status because I can feel safer than other places. And I still usually choose to have my coffee in their yard even though I do have proof because it's cute and cozy. It's a safe space to show up as yourself. I've never found another place like this. I hope they never go away because it's the main reason I cross from Illinois.

Diverse, inclusive, spontaneous, wicked friendly, a safe space. This coffee shop has more character than 6 books put together. The staff is amazing and really kind. The coffee is mind sharpening blissful and their food will make your belly do the happy dance. Stop in, you'll love it! (They also have sprinkles, THIS IS SO IMPORTANT TO A BALANCED LIFE!)

I really like the feel and direction of this place. The reverse cow girl salad was alright. The gooey butter cake was really good.

Sadness is... Knowing I could have been to their new location far, far prior to when I finally was. I had the utmost pleasure of stopping by on a Friday, middle of lunch, and my lunch still only took about 15 minutes to make it to my table in spite of their warnings of a wait... ...I could not be more overwhelmingly elated that I waited. knowing how good it turned out. The food genuinely only paralleled to the quality of service at this location, makes this a destination for every occasion. Albeit not entirely suited to the younger crowd, Shameless Grounds fills an amazing category of destination for the weary traveler or person on the go wanting a place a bit different, and for once not entirely "family oriented". This might not be a place to bring the kids on a busy afternoon, but it's by far one of the most memorable for just about any other occasion. In spite of my overwhelming indecisiveness, the staff here was able to get my order placed which in the end was an iced mocha, a brownie, and a LGBTQ... Which to be clear, is "Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato on warm Pita with Queso. Served with a pickle" and I could not be more impressed with the overall quality of what I received. Not only was the brownie absolutely divine through and through, but the LGBTQ was tasty, fresh, and memorable. I'm so glad I finally had the amazing opportunity to stop by this place (at their new location, specifically), and I will ABSOLUTELY be back. GO THERE ALREADY, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.

I came here to check out a new coffee shop with a unique vibe. I ordered an iced caramel latte and a gooey butter cake. The interior is so cozy and inviting. I would love to come here next time, just hang out with my laptop and lounge. The staff was super friendly, and I got my order in mere minutes! If you're looking for a new coffee shop in town, I highly recommend this coffee shop. It passed my vibe check. There is also a backyard area, but I never got to check it since it was pouring when I stopped at this coffee shop.

Refreshingly irreverent and deliciously inclusive. No matter your eating preferences or dietary requirements, you can eat here. Their menu is very flexible and customizable and the vibe is wonderfully sexy (but in the queerest way). One of my favorite restaurants in the city by far.

Wonderful vibe, wonderful food. Intimate atmosphere with reading available. Strictly enforced vaccine requirement which I appreciate. I recommend the fun-guy mushroom sandwich. Horseradish sauce really makes it special.

Aside from being forced to present a vaccine card that states I'm fully vaccinated. I also had to sit outside in the cold rain with a leaky roof that dripped into my plate. The employees seem to be very disgruntled, and forget about service with a smile. It's almost like you're bothering them for showing up. I'm astounded that they've managed to stay in business this long. ✌️

Friendly staff and great coffee drinks! I’m lucky to live so close to this place. Also, their breakfast is so good. One of the best patios in Benton Park

My wife and I stopped in for a coffee, and it was a pretty fun experience. My latte was made really well, and my wife couldn’t decide on a drink. The baristas were happy to pull out a wheel of options to spin, and the drink it landed on wound up being a great choice. I suppose all the drinks on the wheel are great options, so there’s no way you can lose. Give them a try if you haven’t and maybe let the wheel decide if you’re feeling adventurous.

Shameless is a great place for a sit down and some food/coffee/conversation. There's a good selection of drinks, cocktails, and food. They're welcoming to all walks of life and quirkiness...

Great spot for brunch (or breakfast) if you’re looking for a chill yet quaint setting, you’ll understand why it’s called Shameless as soon as you enter haha. Food was tasty and staff were friendly. Very clean. As for taste I call only speak to the dishes my wife and I ordered but after seeing other orders coming out I’m confident in saying you could order anything off the menu and your tastebuds would be completely satisfied…

Food is delicious, atmosphere is validating, staff are compassionate, and there's a library of good resources for safety and stuff. Lewd? Yeah. Safe? Absolutely. This is a safe harbor location to the max.

I LOVE Shameless Grounds. The queer-friendly and sex-positive atmosphere makes for a refreshing escape from the standard heteronormative cafe environment. The food is absolutely delicious, I particularly recommend the brownie for chocolate lovers, but their breakfast bowls are my favorite.
