👍👍 Wow! This restaurant surpassed my expectations! It was delicious!! I liked everything about it. The atmosphere was simple with lovely music playing in the background and incredible aromas filling the air. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the beef kabobs. The kabobs were unlike beef... People often mention restaurant, good, Persian, rice, delicious, ordered, absolutely, beef, amazing,

Wow! This restaurant surpassed my expectations! It was delicious!! I liked everything about it. The atmosphere was simple with lovely music playing in the background and incredible aromas filling the air. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the beef kabobs. The kabobs were unlike beef kabobs I’ve had in the past (see the photo) but they were filled with flavor. Absolutely delicious! Everyone in my group enjoyed the restaurant. The food was amazing! I’m already planning my next visit. I had no trouble finding a parking spot on the street. It was a nice evening with many people strolling in the neighborhood. We felt very safe. Do yourself a favor and go to this locally owned restaurant. You won’t be sorry!!

This is a hidden gem. It looks like a very casual place, but the food and service is absolutely stellar. The place has a real casual, informal, and homely vibe. It’s actually a family owned place and the owner is very kind and friendly. We started with some tea. I took the Persian tea without milk and my partner took the tea with milk. It was a chilly evening in STL, and the hot tea was the perfect. Next, we got some falafel as an appetizer which was absolutely hot, fresh and crunchy. Next we shared a single platter. It came with three types of kabobs - chicken, beef, and lamb, and two types of rice. One is a a specialty rice with berries ( I forgot the name), and another was the usual buttered basmati yellow rice. Both types of rice excellent. The kababs were simply the great. The meat is halal, and it’s cooked/ roasted to the perfection. We can’t stop eating. I have always been a super fan of Iranian kabobs, and this place has nailed it. To finish the great meal, we ordered some Iranian rice pudding- which was similar to Indian firni. It was creamy, aromatic, served chilled, topped with pistachio- the sweet level is absolutely moderate. The entire dinner was excellent with all the items cooked perfectly, with good portion sizes. Both of us shared singles plates and the portions were absolutely good for us. The only complaint would be- they didn’t give any complementary fresh baked pita with salad, which is quite a staple in Persian restaurants in the US. However, that’s good in a sense, otherwise I find myself almost full after eating those perfect hot pita breads in the beginning. Also, this place is more like a casual spot to offer anything complementary. At the end, the owner came and talked with us. He is very sweet and kind to offer us some portion of their famous dill rice to take home. I never expected this behaviour from any restaurant. It’s almost like a family. They are very sweet and kind. I can’t recommend the place more. Do visit them, and thank me later.

This was my first time here, and the food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was very clean, and I received great service. The owner is so nice. He stopped by a couple times to make sure I liked everything. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be coming back. I try to support local small businesses instead of eating at chain restaurants.

AMAZING! I’ve tried Persian food in multiple different states / restaurants . So coming from someone who travels a lot I would rate this the BEST Persian food I’ve had in the US. We got the koobideh and soltani with barg. 10/10 for flavor , cleanliness, atmosphere , and service .

The main dishes were great 👍. Personally I did not like the taste of Kashk E Bademjoon ( it does nit taste as authentic as I expected). Moreover, I liked very much nostalgic vibe. The place is quite clean but still there is room for better interior design.

The kings platter is unbelievably good! More than enough for 2, and then some. The hummus is the absolute BEST I've ever had! I highly recommend, and I can't wait to go back. Oh, and the owners are outstanding!

Unbelievably good Persian restaurant, lovingly run by a husband and wife who add that personal touch to each and every dish they serve. From personal, family recipes made with ingredients you've never heard of, to menu suggestions and sometimes even samples of amazing cuisine to help (make it harder?) to choose. Will DEFINITELY be back, next time we're in the city.

Absolutely amazing food! Vegetarian options available. Do not sleep on this place. The rice was so savory and the meat combo I had was so fresh and juicy. Very relaxing environment and I loved how welcoming it felt while we ate. Thank you. Brianna for the awesome service! Hubby and his friend had vegetable dishes and were raving about them! Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful hidden gem of a restaurant on South Grand! The ambiance is absolutely perfect, and the food is mouthwatering! I tried the eggplant dip and the delicious spicy beef stew with rice (written in American terms lol). Come try it out! Support your local businesses.

I’m new to the area and I’m making it a point to try new STL restaurants; especially the ones on Grand Avenue. Service was quick and my server was courteous. I had the kabob combo and the meats were juicy and well seasoned. I had the falafel as an appetizer and they were delicious. Came out warm and the outside had a great “crunch” to it. Very tasty. Will return again.

The food was very good. I got the Soltani Kabob with Lamb and the wife got the Vegetarian combo. Both we exceptionally good, especially my beef kabob. If I had a chance, I would just get the beef kabob. Also, the plain white rice is sooooo good. Cleaned my plate. I highly recommend this place and I will be back for another visit.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Very calm, comfortable atmosphere. Service is wonderful and very kind. I have a friend who is from Iran and he would make us food. Now living in a different state I found a piece of home with this wonderful restaurant. I absolutely love coming here!

This place is an under-rated gem. Great food. Absolutely delicious homemade chai. I meant to leave some over but kept eating. Highly recommend 👌

I’ve never had Persian food before I ate here last week and this was the most delicious meal I’ve ever had. The staff are kind and helpful. Very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. If you’re ever in St. Louis you have to try this restaurant.

Me and my gf went here for late lunch last week. We were the only customers at a time. The waitress was really polite and friendly. We ordered butter chicken and mixed kebab plate. Everything was cooked up to the order. Fresh, flavorful kebabs were juicy. Definitely going to come back!

Easily the best Persian food in St. Louis. I ordered the lamb shank and it was amazing. Extremely tender and flavorful, while also being a reasonable price. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of food, from kebabs, soups, and other dishes. While i have only had meat options, there is a robust vegetarian selection as well. Definitely worth a visit!
