Your local Mexican restaurant wishes it was Dos Reyes. You'll get the same chips and salsa, the same red drinking cups, a very familiar menu, but this unassuming little place THROWS DOWN on the entrees. Shockingly good. This place rules.

Excellent little find! Free chips & salsa, good prices, and generous portions. My fish tacos were loaded with fish! I ended up eating 2 and taking the 3rd one home for later 😋

We were starving and came across this place. We aren’t from here and didn’t know anything about it. Wow, pleasantly surprised. Place was packed, but we were seated right away and our food came out quickly. It was delicious!!

It was our first time when we went for National Margarita Day and it was packed! We had some decent plates, but they weren’t as spicy or flavorful as I like. They’re weren’t bad. Service was solid for how many tables the 1-3 servers there.

Went to try Dos Reyes restaurant last night since I was hungry for Mexican food. I ordered the chicken tinga as an entrée, it came with their homage chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa tasty with a little zing. The food was ready when promised. I did like the fact that here in Missouri you can order a mixed drink to go. they offered me Margarita but I was not interested this time. On my way out I saw one and it looked delicious. my picture shows half of the burrito and small portion of rice. The burrito is 2 times the size shown in the pix. Dos Reyes was less than a mile from my house. This is one of 6 restaurants in one mile area. "Restaurants on Hampton". I would recommend it.

Loved how late this place is open! I ate dinner at 8 and stayed for one hour and a half. I had some chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. So yummy. Dos Reyes is lowkey and relaxing. I like the staff and the laidback vibes. Will go again!

I had a good experience here on a sunny afternoon. I sat outside and was greeted quickly. The menu is varied and had a good number of vegetarian options, including veggie tacos, and the veggie enchiladas, which I ordered. The waitress brought chips and salsa. The chips are my big complaint--they tasted overly chewy, like they were stale, and both the chips and salsa needed salt. The enchiladas came out pretty quickly. The beans were absolutely delicious--I don't actually care for beans, so that's saying a lot! The rice was just okay. The enchiladas were good, and I added the tomato salsa on top of the salsa verde they came with. I also ordered a side of guac, which was yummy. The price was reasonable and it was an enjoyable meal on the patio.

Stopped by here when I had errands to run in the area. Very hole in the wall place but cute, clean interior and prompt service. Was pretty empty as I came here for lunch. Very reasonable prices. I had the El Pastor taco, the Pollo taco, and the Fish taco. All 3 were tasty but the El Pastor was the best. The salsa served with the complementary chips tasted fresh. Would definitely stop by here the next time I’m in town. Margaritas looked intriguing as well.

You’re greeted at the door, with a welcoming nice staff as soon as you’re seated you get the best chips and salsa you can have in the whole Midwest I’ve stopped at several restaurants in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee on my way here margaritas is a must have Jamaica (hibiscus) is by far the best, also had to break the diet ordered myself a torta cubana and 2 cochinita pibil tacos as is not your typical Tex Mex menu has way better options than any restaurant you can find down the road definitely is a must try. Better than the other couple restaurants down the road on the same avenue. Viva dos Reyes

Had dinner with my son in Oct. of 2023. I ordered 3 soft shell tacos (fish, shrimp & beef). Each better than the next. My son’s steak quesadilla was excellent. Pre-meal tortilla chips were warm, really thin & delicious. Service was fine. We ate inside as it was a bit too cool outside, though it was rather loud. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing meal here. The food is all incredibly flavorful and you can't go wrong with anything. I will say that the chicken stood out as the best protein of the bunch. It's seared well but not chewy and the flavors are incredible. We also had the street corn. This was my favorite. It definitely has a spicy kick do be warned but yeah that's my jam.

Did Reyes is an excellent spots for classic Mexican dishes! Their dishes are great, and their service really puts the icing on the cake. We got seats right away, and had food in front of us in no time. We tried the Al Pastor Tacos, tamales and street corn with margaritas to wash it down. Everything was seasoned really well, and they were generous with the taco filling. We definitely got our money’s worth. It’s a great neighborhood restaurant, and you should definitely stop by for a round of margs and tacos the next time you’re in Princeton Heights.

The Mexican Mule was fantastic! I had the chicken tinga tacos and they were also very good. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the rice or the street corn dip. Neither were bad, just not my particular taste. Service was very friendly.

This is not your typical tex-mex. There is no ground beef. They are trying new flavors. The rice is cilantro-flavored. Not my favorite ever but good. I had three tacos: al pastor, alambre, and barbacoa. All three were good. I would have liked a little more of a sauce to go with them. The one small sliver of like wasn't enough so they were a bit dry overall. They had pineapple chunks mixed in which was a sweet addition. My friend had the pork enchiladas and they were dry. The meat inside was dry but had good flavor. The sauce on top was minimal. Don't get me wrong, he ate all three enchiladas. Just dry. My daughter had the shrimp taco. The spice level was right but it just didn't have any real identity. Pinto beans, cilantro rice, flavored shrimp, and spicy aioli...just tasted all mixed up. Impossible to say I liked it or hated it. Staff was fast, courteous, and offered great ideas for what to get. The location is nice. The choice of outdoor/indoor/covered seating were all pleasant and difficult to choose between. Will go back, probably for breakfast. That menu looked unique in this area.

Tacos and margaritas are two of the best things in life, in my opinion anyway. Dos Reyes has delicious margaritas and even more delicious food! The street corn is one of my favorite things on the menu. Everything they have has surpassed my expectations. The service is so friendly too! I have not had a bad experience. Dos Reyes is definitely one of my top favorite restaurants!
