I have been a patient of Dr. Hollie for a little over two years and she is by far one of the best African American female primary care doctors in the St. Louis area. Dr. Hollie listens with intent to your concerns and does not brush anything off no matter how crazy it may sound. I have gone to her for a wide range of issues and she has addressed each one just the same. I can also say that as she has been in the process of adjusting her staff the office has gotten better with returning phone calls, providing timely test results and their overall treatment for patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Hollie for years because I think she's a wonderful doctor; however, I think about leaving her every time I have to contact her and deal with her awful unhelpful staff. I have been calling her office for the past week for them to send me a corrected copy of the letter that they mispelled my name on and have not been able to contact them. They never answer the phone. I wish I could show you the letter they sent me that was typed in 2 different fonts. I wish she could find some good staff otherwise her businessis going to fail and I would hate that because she is amazing. UPDATE: I was able to contact Dr Hollie without the assistance of her staff and she said she was going to immediately take care of my issue. She's awesome and definitely 5 stars without her staff. They aren't worth the one star I gave them.

Dr. Hollie is a great doctor very professional caring and attentive. However, her staff does not represent her well AT ALL. The staff has been rude, unprofessional, does not follow-up with answers from questions, will hangup on you, place you on hold without letting you know and its like this EVERY single time I have an encounter with them. The only staff member that seems to care is Mariah. I really hope she gets the staff together so that she doesn't loose patients.

I hate to give the office of Dr. Hollie 2 stars. She is a wonderful doctor. She has ALWAYS been so nice, respectful and knowledgeable at all my office visits. I've been going to her office for about 7 years. Once again...she's great. But, her staff has always been terrible. They are always rude and get nasty attitudes when you ask questions (usually they don't know the answer anyway). I had my last appt the beginning of July 2021...got labs on July 20th. I still have not heard back from the office about all my lab work results. This is terrible, especially when you fill like you're not okay. I called the office on August 23rd to see what the deal was....still no call back! This is pretty jacked up morale of the overall office. I hate I have to find a new primary care doctor. I understand doctors are busy...but at least hire some staff that is equipped to do the job and answer questions!

My sister is a patient of Dr. Hollies and was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has yet to hear from her so called primary care physician, Dr. Hollie. Finally after both she & I talking to the office staff, a member of the staff calls and demands $150 for a televisit to discuss my sister's breast cancer care. My sister is beyond devastated. It's clearly about the money and not patient care with Dr. Hollies. I beg of you to continue to search for you a doctor that has care and compassion for her patients. Searching for my sister a new doctor

It’s sad I have to do this but I have never experienced such disrespect and unprofessional behavior from a Doctors office. I have never had a complaint with Dr. Melissa Hollie she is an awesome doctor, but her staff is bringing her practice down. Now I have to switch PCP’s because of their behavior. How can you hang up on a patient and refuse to listen or even try to fix the situation. I have been calling the office since January and never received a call back. Never again never again. The office manager George hung up on me after he took my information and now they don’t want to answer my calls. I will miss going to Dr. Hollie but this behavior is unacceptable.

I echo the same sentiments as I’ve read in some of the reviews. Dr. Hollis is an amazing Doctor, but getting past her staff and the phone system, has me contemplating finding another doctor. I am on hold over 10 minutes, then the voicemail comes on. That is so frustrating!!!! And no call back. I’ve read these reviews over the past several years and everyone says the same thing. Is Doctor Hollie reading these reviews?

Dr. Hollie is great; however I would not recommend her office to anyone and it's so unfortunate. I've had several encounters with this office where I was given inaccurate lab results and I had to bring it up to the office staff and informed provider, ask provider to call me bac staff did not deliver the message. After finally getting appointment to the office, it was addressed by Dr. Hollie and she had me speak with office manager. Me being office manager I tried to have patience with office, but they don't always return calls back, I had a telemedicine visit at the early stages of Covid around 10am, I called an hour later because I hadn't heard anything, per staff she would be calling before lunch, that didn't happen I called again around 2:30 and then Dr. Hollie called me at 3:00pm. She apologized and said she would speak with staff I said okay and continued with visit. Decided I'm reasonable person and try to have patience being that I work in a provider office as a manager. Final draw was today 1/20/21, I called yesterday made a telemedicine appointment for today at 11am. No one, not even Dr. Hollie called me for my appointment. I called left a voicemail and called the emergency number and left message there. I waited 20mins, called the office because I was trying to catch them before they closed, still no answer, so I sent an email to the address that was given to me from the first incident. I received a call 15mins after the email was sent by office staff and the young lady said she got my message, apologized asked did I still want my visit before the Dr. Hollie left and I said Yes. I told her that I use google duo and she said ok she would get me on for the visit. I asked how did I go about getting my records released to me and she never responded to that question, she just said for me to hang up because she was getting ready to contact me on duo so I could have my visit with the provider. I waited and then called back but office phones were off, so I sent an email and questioning if they had forgotten about me again no response. Needless to say, I didn't not have my appointment. And the person for the emergency line, never called back. If this is how an office is ran, then I feel for Dr. Hollie. I won't say it's on her but her management and staffing needs to tighten up because it's not good practice. Very concerned and disappointed

The doctor is a pretty good doctor. But the office & her staff are very RUDE , UNORGANIZED, & extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! They NEVER answer the phone & take almost a 2 hour lunch break. They NEVER know the answers to ANY of my questions and will even get an attitude about it. It’s absolutely ridiculous. They say they’re going to send your labs out & DON’T. You’ll waste gas driving to these places & receive no work. Save yourself the hassle & DO NOT COME HERE!

Doctor hollie is very nice and pleasant I will say, But her staff oh wow. Extremely unprofessional. And whoever George is he needs to go work at one Of these rude Bar's And not a doctor's office, customer service is everything. It is absolutely not about a balance that I had already paid. And it was actually more than a year that I have been to your office. The last time I seen you it was on a zoom call. And again your staff is rude. Some stuff you shouldn't reply to right is right and wrong is Wrong. Have a good day ma'am.

I've been a patient for over 10 years but not anymore after what happened on 5/3/23. Your unprofessional office staff especially your brother George are ridiculous. He is toxic to your business and I'm sure you have lost many patients that you may or may not be aware of because of him. He continously tries to extort additional money after you have paid anything that the insurance did not pick up. In the past when I paid by cash he always had some type of "extra" fee that was supposedly owed. But when I emailed him the receipts of it being paid, he provided no other response or proof that the bill was unpaid. Dr. Hollie is a good MD but it's time for me to move on.

I found out about Dr Hollie and was so excited because I wanted to support a Black female doctor at 1st I love going to Dr Hollie but now I hate going to Dr Hollie. I feel like her brother George is a down fall for her practice he is so unprofessional. I remember when I 1st started coming to Dr Hollie he was trying to talk to me and that made me feel uncomfortable whenever I saw him. I think now Dr Hollie has too many patients and forgot want she supposed to do for you if she don’t do it while you still in the office or still on the phone. This practice has changed a lot from when I 1st started coming up until now it’s the changed is BAD! I will no longer recommend Dr Hollie and I’m currently looking for a new pcp. Yes I’m a real patient and this is my real experience. I’m so disappointed

Dr. Hollie is an amazing physician that really care about her patients. She is easy to talk to and is very thorough. Her staff is always professional and nice. If you are looking for a doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Melissa Hollie's practice.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Hollie......although I moved away, moved back and away from the area again, Dr. Hollie has been my PCP (for the last 10 years)! Her attentiveness and bedside manner are unmatched!

She has been my doctor for many years. She is amazing and her new staff are refreshing. I wouldn't trade her expertise and personable connection for any other physician in the world.

Great dr seen her once so far but sadly I can not get a hold of a freaking person to talk to them, if I do they always put me on hold.. I call with appointed hours so I'm at a loss. Not happy 😒

I've been a patient of Dr. Hollie for years. Dr.Hollie and her staff and been exceptional the best. In very satisfied with the service I receive. Dr.Hollie is the best Dr. I have ever had. She gives you her ears while she attends to your needs. Dr. Hollie keep doing what you do, GOD GOT YOU

I recommend Dr. Hollie to anyone seeking a general practitioner, especially those seeking a Black doctor or someone that actually treats fat people. I came to Dr. Hollie seeking care after not going to the doctor for awhile due to lack of care from other doctors. I have full insurance and have always paid them. But being in a fat, Black, queer body, I have had doctors that have refused to run tests, or even touch me. That has not been my experience with Dr. Hollie at all. She has shown so much care and compassion, and actually listens to my concerns without belittling them. Turns out I needed more medical care that I never would have caught because the other doctors refused to run tests. On top of that, Dr. Hollie has great recommendations of other care providers in the area. Due to her, I was finally able to find an OBGYN that tested and treated my PCOS. When my previous OB said, you're too fat and old to worry about babies now anyways.

After searching for several months for a new pcp, (my previous pcp of 16 yrs moved out of the area) I was able to get an appointment with Dr Hollie and I'm ecstatic to have been referred to her....Dr Hollie was kind, attentive, very knowledgeable and i felt very comfortable entrusting her with my healthcare....i read some of the previous reviews and I can relate to all of the positive ones, i had a great experience with both Dr Hollie and ALL of her staff that i encountered

Dr. Hollie is AMAZING!! She been my doctor for over 10 years. She ALWAYS handles all my health concerns in a timely manner. Thank you for all your help! Sometimes it is hard to deal with her staff! Dr. Hollie niceness and professional personality out way her staff down falls. She is truly dedicated to her patients well being!!!!

Dr. Melissa Hollie has been my doctor for years and I've never had an issue and going thru these reviews it WOWS me, because George is actually a nice guy he's helped me on numerous occasions. Again I love my doctor and her staff she's the best and will listen to every single issue you have and get it taken care of..

Dr. Melissa Hollie has been my PCP for YEARS. I'm starting this review by saying she is a wonderful doctor and I have zero issues with her or the care she has given me thus far. Her staff is AWFUL. Unprofessional, unkind, uncaring, non communicating, lazy...I could go on. I recently made an appointment to see her and contacted my insurance company SPECIFICALLY asking is she listed as being an INN doctor. I was told that she is listed and accepts AETNA insurance or else I would have never gone with that plan. I get to the office where they ask me for my insurance card, it was taken when I called to make the appointment, and now suddenly she doesn't take my insurance! I do not appreciate my time being wasted. I do not appreciate sitting and waiting for 30 minutes for an "office manager" which we all know is her brother to tell me again that the insurance is not accepted when this all could have been avoided and handled professionally by letting me know when I made the appointment. Also, the brother manager has no explanation as to why Dr. Hollie is listed as an INN PCP with an insurance she does not accept. That's crazy and misleading. I'm very upset and will now have to change insurances. They just need to do better. I'll make sure to redundantly contact the office to ensure my next choice of insurance is accepted before wasting my time again. Thanks for nothing!

Dr Hollie is amazing. I have been with her for a long time now. I will say her office manager could use a little more practice with his customer service and along with his professionalism. It takes forever before I receive any correspondence after calling leaving detail msgs. That’s regarding refills or just general questions. I can tell that they are use to dealing with certain people and it rubs me the wrong way how rude a conversation at times can be. I don’t leave negative reviews about anyone but somethings need to be addressed .

Dr. Hollie has a great bed -side personality and was available via phone messages whenever I needed anything. Will continue to see her.

Dr. Hollie and her staff are welcoming and efficient. I was impressed by her knowledge and warmth. I liked everything about my visit and highly recommend!

I never really had any issues whenever I went to her office to get my medical needs met. But they don't always let you know when your test results have come back. My girlfriend stopped going there because after she got covid and went to the hospital no one ever contacted her to follow up. I went in a couple weeks ago to get a common vaccine but the nurse put it in the wrong part of my arm and now I have big knot where the needle was put. I was supposed to go back to have it checked but they neglected to tell me the office was going to be closed. So now two weeks later I still have a lump on my arm and don't know when it will go away

I love Dr. Hollie, she is always attentive, never judges for me not quite sticking to the diet plan, understands all the changes physically and emotionally that come with childbearing and is always easy to talk to. I did have a past due balance at one time and George was direct but not rude.

I’ve been going to Dr. Hollie so long I can’t even remember how long she’s a great doctor she always takes the time out to listen to see what’s going on with you to make sure she has a solution for you Dr. Hollie is great I wouldn’t recommend any other doctor
