The lift is currently out of action so we had to be relocated as the fourth floor would be a nightmare without the lift... Very happy with the room we got in lieu, spacious enough for two, cooking bench, hot plates and all the other things required for a holiday at the beach including a pool inside the property.

I was sure I had written a review after our stay but obviously not. We researched accommodation looking for somewhere that had cooking facilities for our one week stay and Amaroo at Trinity stood out as our best alternative. We were not disappointed. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the cooking facilities met all our needs. It is also in a great location, far enough away from the hubbub of the city but not too far. It is fairly close to the airport and for us, very close to family members who live in Smithfield. The views from our ocean front room were spectacular. Manager Kym and reception staffer, Shea were extremely friendly and helpful. If we get to return to Cairns, which I hope we can some day, Amaroo at Trinity will be our choice.

Kim was very welcoming and the room and facilities were all very clean. Great location and enjoyed sleeping with the sound of the ocean. Will come again next time we are in cairns !

Amazing experience at Amaroo! The lift was undergoing replacement so we had a free upgrade to a nicely renovated suite with ocean views. Our host was wonderful and stayed late to check us in after we encountered some delays in transient. Additionally staff was warm, friendly and helpful during our time. The beach is a couple minutes walk away, there is a wonderful pool and bbq area, and at the end I wished we had booked more time here.

Good location, basically on the beach via a public path that included a relatively steep staircase. If you are fit and healthy it is a good start to walking down to get a morning coffee. Not the best spot if you have just had a knee/ hip replacement! The pool area is nice. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

We absolutely loved the resort. It had everything that we needed. Beautiful views, well equipped rooms, great king size bed 👍nice and quiet. Thanks Kim, Jason, Dennis and all of the staff for being so friendly and accommodating. We will be back next year!!

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful eight nights staying at Amaroo and visiting locations such as the Daintree, Cape Tribulation, Green Island, Kuranda etc. Have to say it was a unforgettable stay in northern Queensland and our room and staff at Amaroo made it all the better. The room although on the ground floor had ocean views and a private gate to access the walkway to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Facilities were tropical and inviting including an 8.30pm swim in the middle of winter without freezing. The room its self was fresh, modern and had a great variety of appliances and cooking/eating tools and crockery. A laundry on each floor was accessible and a handy addition to wash and dry the wet towels and clothing from a day out, plus a drying rack in the room which proved very useful. Finally the owners and staff at Amaroo were friendly, welcoming and relaxed from the get go, nothing was a problem. We really felt relaxed and at home at this property and will be back for sure. Thanks so much Kim and team can't wait for our next stay 😊

After being messed around by another local accommodation provider. My parents booked in here last minute. Kim could not have been more helpful and understood their needs. She found 2 rooms that were suitable and showed us both. Kim also accommodated their parking needs. The appartment choosen was clean modern and well appointed. Only downside is accessibility to the beach and street front 100 via stairs. Not the ideal place for my older parents, but at a last minute option and the friendliness and professionalism of Kim made it the best option for this trip.

We phoned Amaroo at Trinity to book 4 weeks accommodation for a room we had seen on their website. Kim, the manager, advised us that room would not be suitable for 4 weeks and suggested a Deluxe Mountain View Studio Apartment would be more suitable but $2000 more expensive. When we arrived, we were surprised the only cooking facilities were a small cooktop and a microwave. Also, no dishwasher. All this might be acceptable if you were eating out every night or only staying for a couple of nights but we could not afford nor did we want to eat out every night for 4 weeks. Also missing were Microwave Cookware, for vegetables, large pot for things like pasta and wine glasses. We mentioned this to Kim the next day who contacted the owners of the room who gave permission to purchase an Air Fryer, Microwave Cookware, large pot and some wine glasses. This arrived the same day and we were grateful. The unit was clean and the linen and towels replaced every week, which was nice. Our room was very small at 59 square metres but comfortable. Access to the building is via 100 steps at the front or a very steep driveway at the rear. So, you will need to consider this when booking. During our stay at Trinity, we had a look around at other accommodation facilities and you can definitely get bigger and better value for your dollar elsewhere. So do your homework.

Location was great for Trinity beach. Not a lot of vegan options around so we brought most of our own food. The apartment is great right overlooking the beach and we had the balcony doors open to get a lot of the fresh salt air. Balcony was an awesome size too! The only thing it doesn’t have is an oven, but there’s a microwave. Bed was comfy. Pool was a good temperature too. There was a convenience store about 5 min walk, but prices were expensive. There is a nightowl about 15 minutes walk that was better prices and options. That’s where we managed to get vegan apple pie and dairy free ice cream. The best coffee nearby was Wild Yeast HQ, but being 15min walk was a bit annoying.

Apart from the lift being out due to maintenance, our experience at Amaroo Trinity was great. Good view from the other side of the property line to the beach below, and close to the amenities only a few hundred meters away. The pool was ample, and the jet spa was great.

Excellent ocean view, 3-5 minutes walking distance to the most beautiful Trinity beach. The room was large enough, neat, clean and organised, and well-prepared stuff in the kitchen was ready to be used. The staff was also warm, kind and helpful. Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Amaroo.

We stayed in very clean apartment with comfortable bed.View was absolutely stunning. Apartment was equipped well so we had everything what we needed during our stay. Also it's located close to restaurants at Trinity Beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Great studio apartment, well laid out, although there are family rooms for larger groups. Kym the manager was very friendly and hospitable with lots of local advice. Great ocean views as it is up a hill with all amenities (bars, restaurants, small grocery store) close by. Pick up for tours, if you don't bring a car, only a 5 min walk.

Location, Location, Location Great place to stay! What an amazing view! Conveniently located a mere stones throw from restaurants & cafes, this clean & tidy renovated room oozes comfort. The staff are great, attentive & helpful. As for that amazing view “WOW” The pool is great for a cool down from the beach. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Amaroo at Trinity♥️

Very comfortable and very conveniently located near a wonderful beach and close to restaurants and shops. Worth staying here instead of Cairns as you get a nicer beach, less crowded and driving distance to the city and other attractions. Plus, you get to hear the sound of waves and view of the ocean from your room, can't beat that!

We had a wonderful experience at Amaroo from start to finish. Kym and the team were so lovely and relaxed. Our room (while relatively simple) overlooked the ocean (stunning views), was clean and had everything we needed. Balcony area of 405 is a great space. Listening to the ocean at night was pure bliss. We divided our time between the beach (a short walk away) and the pool. Nice to have a small fridge in the BBQ area to keep a couple of beers cold. For the price, I would consider this top notch value and highly recommend. Can definitely see myself coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amaroo. Kim was very friendly and helpful. Our room was recently refurbished and was modern, fresh and very clean, and well equipped. It was also really well laid out. We loved the pool area which is sheltered from the prevailing wind. The location is very convenient to the Trinity Beach facilities. We've already booked here for our next holiday!

We’ve just finished a lovely 4 nights at Amaroo and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment we stayed was a delight - spotlessly clean, modern, well equiped and with superb views through the palm trees to the water below and down the coast to Yorkey’s Knob. Trinity Beach is a great alternative to more ‘fashionable’ spots like Port Douglas and Palm Cove - just as pretty, a more chilled pace but without some of the tourist fuss. The facilities are great with everything we could ask for - sheltered pool, BBQ and tennis court etc. Kim and her team were a delight to deal with and went out of their way to help us at every opportunity. We’ll definitely be back next year !!

AMAZING!!! Staff were so incredibly welcoming and made the time to tell us where all the local restaurants are and walked us up to the room. The location was incredible I almost cried it was so pretty and so close to beach you can hear it! I recommend all my friends and family stay here. Thank you Amaroo for having us!!!

I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are comfortable, workers are friendly and the location is perfect! Amazing ocean views from the balcony and you could hear the ocean. Internet/wifi was great - I was able to comfortably work from the room!

We absolutely loved our time at Amaroo! The two reception ladies were so lovely & helpful, they made myself & my partner feel very welcomed. The beautiful lady at reception kindly gifted us a bottle of wine for accidentally not turning the aircon on for when we arrive, which we did as soon as we arrived & it was cold in 2 seconds anyway! Such a lovely person & was such a lovely surprise. The rooms were clean & the view was exceptional 😻 we loved stayed a bit out of cairn’s in this apartment in trinity beach, lots of restaurants around & plenty to do! We will definitely recommend to all our friends & we will stay here the next time we come to cairns!

Fantastic balcony view of the beach and coastline. The complex had everything we needed including a kitchen to cook meals, swimming pool and tennis court. The room had ample space and looked freshly upgraded. The manager Kim was also great as she explained all of the best tourist spots to visit. Loved our stay.

Such a fantastic place to say. Nothing to hear but the sound of the waves. Heaven on earth, and so good for the soul. Fantastic tennis court with views to die for. Great BBQ area and a huge entertainment area by the pool. Squeaky clean accommodation and wonderful customer service from the managers and staff. The deluxe accommodation is fantastic.
