We went here for Sunday lunch and found the service extremely poor. We were asked to find our own table and menus will be brought out to us. While waiting for ten to fifteen minutes. We watched as the waitress walked several different groups of people to tables and delivered menus and water instantly. We waited patiently as she cleaned tables around us. And felt as though she was totally ignoring us. We then approached the counter bar area and kindly asked for menus. The lady working the bar was quite lovely and asked us to grab the menu and kindly wait. As we did but still the waitress avoided us completely. We then decided to leave advised the waitress we are leaving and her response was a cold ok. Amazingly absolutely no care that customers are walking away. All good. We are not coming back never again and hope we were the only one who didn’t get treated by them nicely.

A gorgeous old pub beautifully decorated and furnished. Great food with a selection from Asian inspired treats to good old pub grub presented so well and friendly service. EXcellent wine list also. A gem in Innisfail.

Pretty good considering it's Innisfail. Great service, food was average at best, need to contain more fillings, chicken caesar had almost no chicken. Great tap beers

Service wasn’t up to scratch even if the staff were polite, after ordering drinks it was 10-15min turn around from ordering at bar to table service to received to table for anything that wasn’t a beer. Food service was about 20-30min from the menu and as soon as closing time approached, staff was nowhere to be found for dessert order or any further service from 2.15pm. Overall wasn’t satisfactory. On the positive side when booking a reservation ahead of time the phone service was good and follow up call to confirm reservation was a good experience but that is not to excuse the lack of effort come end of day.

Booked a room, but no one opened the door for us. Phone number that was given to us was disconnected. This is not an acceptable behavior for a hotel / accommodation. Don’t trust these guys.

Unfortunately I can't do zero stars. Went in today, promptly ordered our meals, waited over 50 minutes for the order to come out. The steak I ordered was murdered and dry, full of grissel and fat. The "house made chips" were cold and soggy and the salad was so wet with a bitter dressing that it spritsed in the eye oh and the tomato was old and sour. Hubby's fish was dry and definitely not worth the cost. Overall the meals were barely eatable so we left with the majority of the food left on the plates. Even when I paid and complained the excuse was that it was busy. There was barely anyone there!

Just had lunch, and it was amazing. I received bad news during my lunch and had a little cry at my table. On leaving one of the waitresses presented me with a take away of something sweet to cheer me up. Such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated.

Outstanding customer service. It was pouring down rain outside. I came in after the kitchen was closed and they offered to cook my a steak burger and chips. They also offered me the parking spot in the laneway for my motorcycle. The burger was also amazing.

Doesn't pay their workers what they are owed. Made to look clean and orderly from a customer's stand point only to be dirty and unhygienic back of house. Key moment was getting told not to clean the glass scrubber when there was a build up of rotten fruit and mould all throughout it.

Pleasant lunch under the balcony outside, table service, staff very good. No vegan meals which is disappointing. 1 or 2 vego options shows they are trying to offer plant based feeds. Take it 1 small step further and offer at least 1 vegan option and lead the way showing Innisfail your culinary abilities

What a hidden gem! Had a few breakfasts here and every time food has been exceptional. Coffee is excellent and the service is polite, quick and friendly. A beautiful building being lovingly renovated......a process that is ongoing though not at all intrusive. Definitely a great asset to sleepy Innisfail. Definitely recommend!

Friendly staff with quick service. Dog friendly a bowl of water was bought to the table without us having to ask. They fussed over our dogs and made them feel special Food was excellent.

Stayed there for over a week, had a great time. Owners were amazing, helped us a lot. Almost felt like family. Would come back anytime. Burgers are delicious and you don't want to miss out on the chips! Vegetarian options on the regular menu would be appreciated.

Stunning menu, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and great value for money. Very friendly staff and proprietors and great to see a grand old Art Deco building being brought back to its former glory. It is no coincidence that I found myself there every day for breakfast over the four weeks I was at Flying Fish Point.
