Perfect location for a quiet weekend away! My hubby and I, with 2 teens on tow, took my 72yr old Mum away for the night 🌙 She absolutely loved it here ♥️ So quiet, peaceful and relaxing Nature is a number one with the visit of many local birds, chickens and Bush Turkey's, the night viewing of possums, bandicoots and sugar gliders was a winner for sure, Rooms were all what we needed, plenty of room, large size , and balcony to sit and watch nature Definitely a MUST VISIT ehrn you up this way Pool, Sun deck, pool table , green grass to relax on too, oh and a Awesome 1.3 km Bush WALK Had a great night away

We loved our 3 night stay. The wildlife and viewing platform to see striped possum and sugar gliders at night were amazing. Quiet location. Everything we needed as a family was provided in our room. Enjoyed the birds visiting on our verandah. Staff friendly and helpful and we so appreciated having our washing done for us. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Our second visit here and the rooms have recently been renovated which has made the property an even better place to stay. Perfect location among the natural rainforest, close enough to Malanda and Atherton for day trips or supplies. For those who need good coffee in the morning, a small cafe just 2 minutes down the road will cater for you. Plenty of space in the cabins, with a couple of big relaxing chairs to catch the AFL games if you need to. The outdoor pool area is great for just lounging around. Friendly staff as well meant all the boxes get a big tick. Great place.

Amazing location, great rooms with everything you need, Sam on reception was lovely, very knowledgeable about the local area and went out of his way to made us welcome. Will definitely be back, thank you for such a great stay.

Well appointed comfortable cabins in the heart of forest great experience

if you know who david attenborough is then this is the place for you. I was lucky enough to wake up at dawn and was surprised by the biodiversity and the sounds of the rainforest. while drinking coffee on the balcony I could see dozens of different animals, especially fantastic birds that are endemic to this area. a small catalog with photos and names was helpful, too. many birds were not afraid and came to the handrails next to me. nearby is the volcanic lake eacham where you can swim or enjoy the flora and fauna. of course, the place also has a pool, bbq and other things. I traveled all over the world and used various accommodations, but I was especially impressed by this place as a nature lover. in fact, I had the impression that I was on an expedition and the accommodation itself came as a bonus. the accommodation itself is ok but the whole experience is fantastic.

Such a great hidden gem. Waking up to the birds was amazing, and seeing them up close pretty special. Seeing squirrel gliders and a striped possum extra special. Wish I had time to take a swim! Loved the location

Charming lodges in a great location surrounded by the rainforest, perfect to spot nocturnal critters, very clean, great value with good amenities! We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

This is really a hidden gem. Clean beautiful little cottages. Comfy bed, good shower fantastic hosts. So much to do we were just sorry we couldn’t stay another night. Viewing platform for night life. Lovely experience thank you🙏🏻

Fantastic place to stay. Very quiet and secluded away from traffic and everyday life. Rooms are very well equipped for cooking, modern layout and furnished. Will definantly be coming back.

Being in the rainforest is amazing, seeing the nocturnal animals from the viewing platform amazing. The staff was really lovely, Laura Leigh in particular. On a personal level I can appreciate maintaining buildings in North Queensland as I too am a resident but I feel more can be done to keep the rooms maintained and clean, replacing even small things like the rusted shower railings and plastic bathroom shelves. Thoroughly cleaning the recliners would also help, just to name a few. I understand that clients don't always treat furniture and fixtures as they should but that's what the accommodation business is about.

Amazing place! Great trail around property with lots of birds and mammals! Feeding stations brought in 4 species including Striped Possum and Sugar Glider. Beautiful room. Would definitely recommend!

A great place to spend some relaxing time. The staff are great and happy to help with any info we needed. Its location is in a prime spot right next to some lovely areas on the tablelands. The room was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Would gladly recommend and stay again when we get a chance 👌

We had a secluded cabin. Very peaceful. Only the whip birds for company. Cabin was very clean, and comfortable. Loved the recliners in front of the fireplace. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to friends.

While Chambers shows a lot of promise for wildlife enthusiasts, we were a little disappointed. The chalet for 3 people consisted of a bedroom en suite and a bed in the living room which wasn't really suitable. The grounds are lovely but the tracks through the rainforest were impassable in places and looked neglected. It was absolutely wonderful to see the possums at the feeder each night but would have been even better to have some information about them or someone to give a talk. There were plentiful birds but they didn't come into the open areas very much so you don't actually see them.

Nice place to stay. Cabines are a bit old but had everything we needed. Beds were oké and the sound of the wildlife around were a great bonus! Close to lake eacham what is beautiful aswell
