    Unhelpful, annoying staff. Clearly pushing products that give them better bonuses. Product care is a complete waste of money (but extra bonus for selling it!) All the issues that come with buying electrical products take weeks for 'technicians' to help. Left me without a washing machine for 5 weeks! Rude and unprofessional over the phone, telling me 'that's your problem' when asking what to do when my product broke under 'product care'.

    Poor customer service by the Indian gentleman. I wanted some quotes on some expensive fridges for my business to approve and I was expected (as a customer) to yell out fridge codes to him from afar, while he sat in his chair writing them down??? What the???? Very unprofessional!!!

    Staff seem extremely inexperienced in their products. 4k TV's and they can't even figure out how to enable the built in 4k demo videos, playing low quality content. Jb Hifi was much cheaper even with delivery, better customer service. Showing off low quality imagery on a 4k display just shows the staff need training, the demo's are built into the TV and it's very easy to find downloads for them on USB. The same tv's look glorious at JB hifi. Prices are usually higher than the competition and warranty claims are hard to get. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

    Worst service I have ever experienced was in the store for 15 minutes and not one sales person asked me if I needed help was only one sales person with a customer

    Called into Harvey Norman Innisfail today and was served by a guy from Optus by the name of Rob. Have never experienced such fantastic service from an employee in a long long time. I will definitely recommend Rob and the store to others. A 10/10 experience for me on this occasion. Michael

    Customer service is very poor since their competitor shut down. They’ll sell you something no worries, but you better hope nothing goes wrong with your item or you’ll hit a brick wall trying to get either a repair, replacement or refund if something goes wrong even shortly after purchase. After being a happy long term customer, I’ve had several very bad experiences with them lately. I’ll be going to Cairns from now on.

    I have dealt with Harvey Normans Innisfail from when I moved home some 16 years ago.I always try to deal with Under Singh. He has always gone the extra mile for me making sure deliveries are prompt & his knowledge of Electrical goods especially Sound & Home Theatre/ Television systems is amazing.

    Extremely helpful staff, especially Dillon who went above and beyond to assist me with an issue that I knew Harvey Norman couldn't resolve. It wasn't his problem, but he took the time to help me figure out a resolution. Consequently, I returned a few days later to purchase a product simply based upon the exceptional customer service provided.

    Reading other reviews I see the common response is that Harvey Norman pride themselves on their customer service. After my recent extremely poor customer service experience in the computer area, our local Store needs to seriously make improvements in this area. I have been a very happy and loyal customer until now. We have purchased all of our electrical appliances etc from them. I am now reconsidering shopping local and will go to Cairns in future.

    Bre went above and beyond to help us with a product care claim. I've heard a lot of ppl say product care isn't worth it, but after having a couple of machines have issues just outside their factory warranty date, and receiving a replacement machine, I can say it's definitely saved us money. I'm very happy with the after sales service from Harvey Norman. Some shops don't want to know you once you've made the purchase; these guys look after you as though you're still a valued customer. I'm very happy with them.

    The Young Chappy who served me tonight (Dylan) was polite, easy to talk to. Helped me with my enquiries. Didn't once make me feel like it was a problem to serve me. He knew his Tech. Just the way it should be. Didn't try to sell me things I didn't want. In this store it depends on who you get. We had a different experience there a few days before. Sales people should always know about the products they are selling, whether they are selling Computers or toasters. Good knowledge of products and respect for customers and being able to explain things on different people's levels is the key to sales. Makes people want to come back.... Having a good range of products helps too. Not seeing people as just $$$. Love what you do, love what you sell, have a passion for making sure people get the help they need. Thanks Dylan (as it says on receipt).

    Very upset with this store. Went in before Christmas and i was aggressively confronted about my vaccination status - i am fully vaccinated by the way - and when i told her this, she said ' well enjoy our air conditioning then.' As anyone would appreciate, we chose to spend our christmas budget at #mellick's, a local family company.

    Needed help with a drone and battery. The store manager went above and beyond anything that I'd expected or hoped for. Innisfail should be proud to have such a wonderful store, with the customer experience second to none for any Harvey Norman store that I've ever visited, nationwide.

    Not the best experience yesterday, we said we are just looking. They hovered around us. Keeped looking at us. And asking. When we did want help they didn't know what we was asking and told us to buy on line. We had the Harvey Norman website open and showed them what we wanted and the guy kept talking about number sharing about a Samsung smart watch (non 4G watch). They are polite. But don't seem to know their products well. Seemed bored. I'm 71 and it was bamboozling, lucky my son was with me and knows about this stuff. He knew what we wanted. They just needed to show us what they had and that was it. And let us look around and be ready if we had questions. Usually a good store. We miss the days of Rob and others serving us. We ended up ording it online. Often they don't have stock of what we want and that's fine, it's a country store, not city and we expect that. They should offer to order fast from cairns. Like overnight. If cairns has stock.
