Was really looking forward to dining here and left disappointed. We came in mid afternoon and it was quiet (we were the only customers). Only having ordered 4 mezzo dishes, it took rather long for any dishes to come out. Food was very pricey relative to other restaurants and was very mediocre. Will say that owner was friendly though and had suggested beef liver which ended up being my favourite dish out of everything we ordered.

One of the WORST restaurants I've visited in Zamalek. The lentil soup was advertised as having sweet potato chips, quinoa and coriander. The lentil soup was very light and didn't contain any of these items. Instead they got Lebanese bread that was oven fried plus a cheese/onion dip. The waiter actually tried to convince us that the onion dip WAS the quinoa, indicating he doesn't even know what quinoa is. We requested that the dish be returned, he initially insisted that the dish can only be exchanged, then after 5 minutes of discussion he stopped arguing and took the dish away. I told him false advertising gives us the right to return any item. He asked if we would accept the same if it returned in the correct form as advertised, we said sure why not. Of course, we didn't see or hear about that soup ever again. We had ordered a nacho w/cheese platter, it was served after we had finished our main dishes. The manager said that maybe the waiter "forgot" to bring it earlier, but thankfully he took the dish away without arguing back and forth like the other waiter. Upon ordering the cheque, I asked to pay half in cash and half by visa, this same waiter looked at me and asked if the whole amount can be paid by just one method. I really couldn't believe this guy and asked him straight in his face, "I've never had a waiter in my life object to splitting the bill or paying by different methods, why are you even commenting on this?" That's when he finally backed off. These are just a few situations that happened which clearly show that the place has horrible service and the staff aren't trained in hospitality nor do they have any social skills. Waiters should be there to serve and make your life easier instead of objecting or commenting on every request and lying straight to your face just to avoid or overcome a mistake done by the restaurant. Last but not least, considering the small portions and the very MEDIOCRE quality of food, this restaurant is very overpriced. We paid 1,075 for two main dishes and one salad. There are other restaurants in zamalek which also serve alcohol yet have much better food and service + much more value for money.

Good food and quantity, although they ran put of a lot of things in the menu so we hardly had any options to order. Also they serve a few dishes with egg which I didn't expect in a vegetarian restaurant.

Food was really terrible in every way possible out of the 8 dishes we ordered. Only one dish was really good. That was the lentil soup. The outside of the restaurant is hard to find. We were the only ones in the restaurant but the order took many hours to arrive. The waiter told us 1 minute when we asked how long. It was actually 45 mins.

Made a reservation for a couple at 9.00-9.30pm. I came on time informed the front desk and waited for my partner. Partner arrived at 9.00 in zamalek, however due to heavy traffic and no parking space , she arrived the restaurant/ pub at 9.50pm. While I waited I told the front desk that they either let me in until she arrived but they refused saying it was a couples policy. However tons of people were entering by just saying hi to the bouncer outside and without checking for a reservation! As my partner came walking from her car , and I told the, that I’d go see something n come back, we finally met at. The front door at 9.50. They said they called my name while I went to look for my partner , didn’t find me , so they simply cancelled my booking and again wouldn’t let us in. Secondly, the bouncer and the manager kept passing me to each other like as if we were trash but in a polite way! Third , now that all this happened n just to prove that this bouncer knew who I was , knew I I arrived and checked my name, watched me wait in front of him, told him I’ll go walk to get her........ At about 9.35 I had a flower with me in my back pocket, and it fell..... so he shouted out “Fady!, you dropped something”.....and I was humbly thankful....
