The lentil soup was amazing!! This was the best lentil soup in the world. I can't describe that taste but absolutely awesome. You must try!!! The ambience was nice as a 5 star hotel's restaurant. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Even though, we had no reservations but they provided us like special seats with Nile view. Hope they offer more vegetarian options. They have but not many choices.

Had a lovely late lunch. Buffet was great. Mezze. Lamb. Hot and cold foods. Dessert selection was wonderful - the kanafa was especially good - and nice and hot!! Wonderful fresh pomegranate juice. Would definitely go again.

My expectations were high but they were very far from getting fulfilled. For the prices they have, one should ask for perfection but there were two pretty disappointing points: 1. They managed really bad the timings: 14.01h an appetizer is served 14.09h the mezze is served 14.20h the main dish is served 15.05h the dessert is served (45 minutes after the main dish, absolutely out of compass, especially after being so quickly with all the others) (I know exact timings since I take a picture of everything when served.) 2. My family and I recently visited Cairo and our Kempinski Hotel at the Nile recommended the Four Seasons authentic Egyptian buffet. We were NOT disappointed. The Hotel itself is very modern and very carefully thought of when it came to the decor. Absolutely stunning! Back to the food, amazing and a great variety. Never came across Veal dish on a buffet but here you can surely expect it. If you are unsure of Egyptian cuisine, you have to try this place! Great work chef's and Restaurant staff. Maybe we went at a weird time since it was a Sunday night but this restaurant definitely feels overpriced and overrated. They get away with the price because it’s in the 4 Seasons hotel but the selection is small, the quality of food os not great and for the price it’s an absolute rip off to me. To top it all off something my dad and I ate gave us both horrible food poisoning so I spent the entire night glued to the toilet. Giving it 2 stars primarily for the ambiance and view.
