Simply one of the worst hotel experiences I had ever had ...Room stinks of cigarettes although my room was supposed to be on a nonsmoking floor ....they charge you for room service orders at the room's door!!! the thing that never happen any where in the world ...Over all it is never fit to be a 5 stars hotel... if any thing could be appreciated it would be the attempts made by the duty manager ( Mr.Waleed) to make us feel comfortable after complaining.

We had a relaxing one night stay at Safir Hotel. Breakfast selection was expansive and tasty. We wanted to use the sauna on our last day but unfortunately the spa area was closed. I would say this is more like a 4 star hotel rather than 5. Thanks Yora for the excellent customer service!

The rooms were nice but the bathroom was the best part of the room. Very clean and well maintained; great water pressure in the showers. The breakfast buffet was really professional as well as the staff working there. The server named Nadia was very helpful, polite, and extremely professional. I looked forward to seeing her every morning. She is the best!

This hotel for us Europeans would not be 5 star, so don't expect a luxury hotel, with our levels of cleanliness. Unfortunately they gave us a smoking room (we reserved 2 months before for a non smoking room): it was a big room but very dated and need some refurbishment. However, the service of this hotel is excellent, the staff is very kind and they do their best. The breakfast is excellent and varied. The hotel area is safe and also the spa is nice.

Wow! I was incredibly impressed by this hotel. Its “retro opulence” aesthetic, especially in the room, radiated an 80s/90s dated aura but I found it charming. The staff are very hospitable and attentive- do tip them well! The breakfast buffet lounge had infinite selection of hot and cold food- simply marvellous! There are multiple restaurants and a great cafe within the hotel. The outdoor swimming pool, the lounge chair and the shower facilities were top notch. There is a poolside snack bar which I did not sample. The room amenities (toiletries, towel, robe etc) were generously available. The beddings in the room were plush, room was immaculately clean, the snack bar in the room may not have been updated regularly, but it was not a deterrent. Overall, I highly recommend this 5 star hotel not only for its great value, but for its great staff and the warm hospitality extended to the guests.

I had a great stay at this hotel during my business visit. The spacious, luxurious rooms exceeded my expectations, offering great comfort. The value for the price paid was remarkable, making it a worthwhile choice. The breakfast selection was superb, and the friendly staff provided top-notch service throughout my visit. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel on my second trip to Cairo and I have to say as I’m thinking of my third trip I cannot fault the Service I received. The food is amazing and the service exceptional. Though the decor is a little dated and it’s a alcohol free hotel and it’s smoking in the foyer and certain rooms. I have to say I was treated really well. It’s in Dokkie a vibrant part of Cairo and it’s closer towards the pyramids in the same direction. From a guy from Australia I really liked this hotel .

I recently stayed at this hotel and I would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff who were incredibly helpful throughout my entire stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities, including a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The hotel offers a wide variety of on-site facilities and services, including, a swimming pool, and a spa. In terms of dining options, the hotel had several food options. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide range of options that catered to all tastes and dietary requirements. Overall, I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The only downside to his hotel is that it is located in a very noisy area. You will hear cars blowing horns throughout the night.

Located very close to the centre of Cairo, has good access, facilities and large air-conditioned rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel food options were reasonably priced and provided great options.

The hotel, rooms and amenities were exceptional! The service was excellent. The management and staff went above and beyond. We had a small issue with the hot water and the a/c, and both were very quickly resolved by very kind and knowledgeable staff. Every morning the staff at breakfast were very generous and attentive to any and all our needs. Reception staff were also very kind and helpful! I would recommend this hotel! 👌

I was on a business trip and stayed there for 6 days. The check-in was very smooth made by Mr. Hatem in the reception. The room was upgraded to an executive room. The room was very clean and spacious. The room is also daily cleaned, and the carpets are brushed daily. This was something that pleased my eyes and satisfied me. Moreover, the breakfast was with various options to choose from l suits all tastes Middle -easterns, Asians or Europeans. They really mastered the pastries and bakeries. Although it was located in a residential area but still somehow quiet. Would recommend it for anyone coming to visit Cairo downtown.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Safir Cairo and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation, particularly to Fatima from the housekeeping team and the exceptional reception staff, who made my stay truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The reception team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process, answering all my questions and providing valuable suggestions for exploring the local area. Their professionalism and attentiveness left a lasting impression on me. During my stay, the cleanliness and tidiness of my room were outstanding, all thanks to Fatima’s impeccable housekeeping skills. She maintained a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every corner of my room was spotless and inviting. Coming back to a beautifully made bed and neatly organized amenities truly made me feel pampered. I also want to commend the hotel on its overall ambiance and amenities. The facilities were well-maintained, and the common areas exuded elegance and comfort. The dining options were diverse and offered delicious cuisine that satisfied my taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Safir to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. The reception team’s unparalleled service truly make this hotel stand out. Thank you all for your outstanding efforts in ensuring a fantastic experience. I look forward to my next visit to Hotel Safir.

Hotel is nice , clean and comfortable. Location is good. Walkable to the 'Dokki' metro station and is not far from downtown. We can walk to convenience stores. Staff were polite and cheerful. They offered a late checkout as our flight was in the evening. Appreciate that. Only downside was that the breakfast buffet , though elaborate lacked vegetarian dishes in the hot items. We were vegetarians and were not able to eat anything but bread and fruits. All hot items had meat/egg. Please do consider vegetarian guests in future. Reducing one star for that. Otherwise, great choice.

Our room is very well-kept. The beds are the most comfortable I think I've ever sleeped not. The morning breakfast is comforting and made with high quality. The lunch and dinner buffets are also delicious. For the price and after staying in airbnbs and other hotels throughout our travel, this is definitely somewhere I'd come back to. Thank you Safir Hotel for the exclenet stay!

We had an exceptional stay at Safir Hotel Cairo. The meticulous attention to detail and outstanding amenities enhanced our experience. The room was spacious and spotless, while the delightful inclusive buffet breakfast and dinners at the oriental restaurant were a treat. Special thanks to Mr. Salah and the entire staff, including the front desk (Hossam) and security team, for their wonderful care. The hotel's prime location allowed easy access to activities and tourist sites. Without a doubt, a 100% recommendation for the best experience.

This is my first time in this hotel, Without a doubt, I enjoyed my stay here, the facilities are very good, and the staff are excellent, especially in the corporate cafe, namely Maryam and Mostafa. Also, the health club, I enjoyed a very good massage delivered by Mohamed Samir. The food quality is excellent, especially at the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try the other restaurants in the hotel. My wife and I visit Cairo at least twice a year, and we intend to make Safir one of our favourite hotels in Cairo. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend this efficiently run hotel.

Location is decent, people are great, breakfast is great with a big selection. The gym is decent. This is however not a true 5 star hotel, rooms are a bit dated. Also, noise from the street is very loud but I guess that is not the fault of the hotel.

I spent 3 days in Safir Hotel in Cairo. I had a wonderful experience there. It does live up to the 5-star rating. The room is quite spacious, very clean, well decorated and full of nice amenities. The bed, pillows and sheets and comforters are top quality. Their breakfast buffet is very delicious and has many selections for both hot and cold items. The hotel location is also quite convenient and safe. Best of all the people working there are very professional, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. The receptionist Mohamed Talaat was very patient in answering all my questions. Even their gift shop deserves some praise because the owner is very honest and sells souvenirs at very good prices without the need to bargain. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel met all my expectations. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our first night we were surprised when we came back from our outing with chocolate left in our room. The stay was pleasant, non of the staff asked for tips, everything was very fast, unless one point which was the laundry bill I paid on the counter, but when checking out they said that the payment was not done and I showed the receipt, but they haven't accept, when I insisted the employee on the counter said that he will pay from his pocket if I didn't pay, but I said that it should not be paid twice. Otherwise all was good, cakes in the lobby cafe was not fresh at all even though they said its made on the same day.

PROS: The location is great in terms of traveling in Cairo. The breakfast is nice and the shower itself is great with good pressure and temperature. The staff are very friendly and the lobby is a nice place to be. The room was very big but I'm not entirely sure if that was a good thing for everyone. CONS: Unfortunately there are quite a few issues with this hotel which makes me unable to recommend this hotel. - Most noticeably the cleaning was very bad. For a hotel with a supposed 5 star rating of which I have stayed in a few, this was by far the worst cleaning in the five star standards (would be sufficient for a 3.5 star hotel). Some examples were, when we first arrived we found a used plaster with hairs on it in the bathroom which we left thinking they would clean it the following day however the plaster was still there in plain sight for the full 7 days we were at the hotel. I did not move it myself just to see whether the cleaning is actually done which was obviously proved not the case. The surfaces were dirty and when checked , you could see the same stains. I had muddy shoes which I cleaned and it left a lot of mud on the floor. This also remained in the same place for a few days so they do not even hoover the rooms. I had a pillowcase on one of 4 pillows which was dirty and was covered in lint balls when I arrived. As I only use one pillow to sleep I did not need it. A few days into the trip the same pillowcase was on the pillow on my side of the bed which I was very appalled at as this along with all the other cleaning issues quite clearly suggested the bedding was not changed. The cleaners also do not throw your rubbish away and leave your belongings in an orderly manner if you've left the room in a little bit of a mess. - The bathroom is very outdated. No fan so when you have a shower you cannot use the mirror as it steams up. The shower is in a bath which is dirty and old but the shower itself is fantastic. - The balcony isn't big enough to sit down. Its a about 1 meter by 0.5 meters in width so only good for standing occasionally. - If you're a light sleeper this isn't the best hotel for you as the sliding doors do not do a great job at keeping the traffic and horning noises out. - Many issues with our key card for the room. Did not detect the card a lot of times and we ended up with 6 cards at the end of the trip as we kept having to get a new one. - There are no other amenities to the hotel. The pool was not in use and even if it were in use we wouldn't have used it as it did not look that pleasant.

A great hotel overall, and good value. As its not part of an international chain (Hilton, Accor, Marriott), it has a more ‘local’ feel to it, with more Egyptian guests and more local breakfast food, which is outstanding by the way: so much choice and quality food! Very friendly staff and decent prices round out an excellent experience!

After a trip throughout the country I had the impression that the hygiene maybe isn’t a high priority, although at Safir everything was spotless. I was also surprised to see that they have women housekeepers. They really did a wonderful job with the rooms. Beds were perfectly done as well as the bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were quite good too. As a person that requires gluten free meals, I had rich choice of food at breakfast - vegetables, eggs, fresh fruit, and so on. A couple of ladies served coffee too. The coffee is American, standard for breakfast. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Staffs at the reception, restaurant & housekeeper were all very helpful & friendly. Although the hotel is old with old furnitures, feeling warmth & safe, “a home away from home”. The location is right in the center of Cairo city & it’s superbly convenient. Value for money.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and willing to help. There is a wide range of items available for breakfast. The rooms are quite nice. I would recommend that the hotel has an area where guests can eat food which is purchased from outside.

Very nice hotel, excellent service and clean rooms. Very close to nice places and in the middle of the city. Pros; clean, in the middle of the city, very close shops and restaurants, excellent service Cons; wifi full speed is limited to 1GB per room then you have to pay to get full speed again, swimming pool is not covered which makes you feel watched by half of the city 🤣

Best guest relations ever Marina in the lobby in front of the reception desk was our guard since we arrived so she played an important and unforgettable role First, she took us to more than one room until we chose the right room Second, she sent us a party cake because we were on our honeymoon Third, she suggested to us beautiful places to spend fun evenings and also refreshing places for a walk in the morning You deserve to work as a tour guide We did not feel that they still differentiate between Egyptians and foreigners in Egypt I don't know if this is real, but this is how I felt after more than ten years of absence I repeat my thanks to Marina, because she helped me make my choice for my first country, Egypt, for my honeymoon, a distinguished and successful choice.

Nice hotel and well centralized in Dokki area. Well furnished and nicely decorated. Lobby is big and spacious with white colors. The hotel has several outlets and several meetings areas. Hotel is almost highly occupied. Most of the clients are from the Gulf areas. Thank you for the good service and the hotel taking care. Kindly keep it the same. I am not sure about the room quality. Will always talk ok about the hotel. I will have an event next weekend and will come back again.

At first, I would like to note that this is the first time that I write a review for a hotel or service in general This is because the service fascinated me, and the way of dealing really was different, and that was all thanks to the guest relations responsable, who's name Marina. It was more than wonderful, starting with the welcome and dealing with advice and providing multiple options to facilitate our mission in Cairo. I couldn't write much, but I could cut it short, Marina made me felt like I was the only guest in their hotel. I wish her all success in everything she does
