WC are pretty small. Overall, they do not clean the place. We are here as interns and we did most of the cleaning. There was a stove, they took it away. They charge 2EGP for each cloth to wash in the washing machine. They change the WiFi password everyday so that you cannot use it. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

Not recommend at all. Poor hostel. People are very rude. Rooms are so bad, that washrooms don't even have lock and door. My friends came to meet me they even didn't let them sit at reception they said go out to meet your friends very bad experience.

Anyone with a sane mind wouldn't stay in that place. The list of problems is gigantic: the entrance looks like a horror movie, rodents passing by and really dark, no elevator, full of trash. The hostel itself has a terrible environment: it's dark, the staff isn't friendly (except for mr. Mohammed), the bathrooms are dirty and most of the time there's no hot water. The rooms aren't good either: the beds are old and if someone moves on the bunk beds, the whole set shakes... there's no space anywhere to keep your stuff, the kitchen is not functional at all. Everything is dirty and this isn't a hotel. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Location: Downtown Cairo 10/10 Standard of living according to price 9/10 👌 Staff is cooperative & friendly. Famous Tehreer Square is near by this place. For eating, Kazaz Restaurant is best & just some steps away or you may call for home delivery!!

Don't recommend it ever , we booked two nights and when we came owner told us there's no rooms available because a guest told him he want extra night and there no where to go . Also we came before and there wasn't a door for the bathroom .

Only if I could rate it less than one star.... This place it not even worth this one star The place is pathetic. First of all it is on the 5th floor (considering ground floor as 1st) And there is no elevator. The place is very dirty and I never saw anyone actually cleaning it (I stayed for 1 month). In fact people clean their rooms on their own. Secondly ,it is so cunjusted. There is no place to walk freely when you are living in a room with 7-9 other guys with luggage lying all over the room because there is no other place. Ps: the place sucks, maybe it's cheap but its not even worth that much.

The place was just okay with a very old style building overall and small rooms. The hotel takes the space of the fifth floor of the establishment only with no real service provided apart from the room itself which was not the coziest and felt far off from being the cleanest. There was a small TV that didn't have much input on our stay as it made a clear statement that it would have been torture to try to use it for any level of entertainment apart from making a joke about how old it is and to guess if it would actually turn on at all if you really tried. The bathroom was extremely small with no more than a sink and the actual toilet itself. The room had a single mirror atop the sink which was very limited in reflecting what you looked like below your chest area, I'm 172cm tall by the way. There wasn't much to say about the front desk more than that they had little more to do than getting paid, they did take my ID overnight on my first night as assurance there, not sure if that qualifies as good security though as no attempts were made to check if I had anything fishy on me in case I was a bad apple so to speak. I was given access to a public place with other residents after all, and the same happened to them I presume. Overall, is choosing any place to stay apart from this of you can manage, and to consider this a last resort.

Kings Palace is a lovely place with friendly staff. Miss Rehab is really kind and friendly. She is an absolute star. Restaurants and stores are close by in walking distance. The rooms are big and spacious. I would recommend it for anyone.

I had a very bad experience staying there, not all the rooms have AC. The beds have bed bugs , it’s not sanitary at all. The kitchen is super disgusting , its got cockroaches everywhere , you’d barely want to in to just make a cup of tea.
