We got lucky with this find slightly away from the downtown area. Walkable if you’re staying along the Nile or even in downtown. Place was fantastic, with a good variety of vegetarian options. Some photos attached. The ambience was great. The crowd seemed like it was a mix of tourists and locals. There is cover charge of 6.00 EGP each, and a service charge of 12% and Vat additional which makes it a little bit expensive Would highly recommend a meal here!

When you enter this place, you feel like you came to the old times, music helps you to feel the atmosphere. We were the only visitors, but time was going and step by step the hall started to fill with the visitors. Good menu for any taste. We tried grill, shish tawook, famous Taboula salad, different garnish. Everything was tasty + excellent service. It’s not a hidden germ, but if I didn’t see it before in the map, I would probably miss it.

We went to eat at Tabboula around 4:00 p.m. and it was open. It even surprised him when we know the restaurants in France which do not serve after 2:00 p.m. or so shortly.. Great restaurant with tasty food and middle eastern vibes. In the entrance there are lots of plants and the inner decoration travels you to Middle East. We had 7 dishes for 2 people but it was quite a lot, though we we managed to eliminate food waste 😉 You can also find alcoholic drinks like beer and wine and enjoy your meal. Overall we paid around 35 euros and we had plenty and tasty food. A small thing is that the service was a bit slow and the food arrived in between arrived late.

It was a restaurant recommended by the concierge of the fourseason there in Cairo ! It had a very nice atmosphere the food was amazing . I didn’t love the humus with meat but it was fine, they serve alcoholic drinks. You could pay with card so that was nice too. I would recommend a friend to eat there , it’s near a few embassies so it was a lot of security it was a nice and safe place to walk there.

The Lebanese/Egyptian cuisine is simply delectable- literally everything is so incredibly good! Our server was extremely attentive, genuine and hospitable. The cherry on top is the atmosphere music and decor…..and if you’re lucky enough, the lazy Susan table top is the star of the show when dining as a group. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

You can enjoy dinner with drinking! It is sometimes hard for drinkers to find the place to enjoy drinking in Egypt but they offered those. We're vegetarian and we ordered Taboula salad, Arabic salad, hummus, metabal, falafel, batata harra it's kind of spicy potatoes. Main course were almost meat. No choice for vegetarian. To be honest, the food was great however I was disappointed because of their poor services. The staff were not attentive. I would say don't expecting too much for everyone.

This is the most overpriced food that under-delivers the promise of Lebanese flavour, and the inattentive customer service just made our experience worse. Service felt rushed when ordering. The meat with pine nuts was completely rid of flavour, and smelt slightly off. The veal liver was over-cooked and teeming with so much acidic pomegranate molasses. The fatoush was the only decent thing. All that and the audacity to charge us for service is hilarious. There was a long piece of steel wool in my food. I called them and told them what happened they honestly didn’t seem to care at all they didn’t apologize at all or seemed concerned. Taboula is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Cairo. Usually, the golden end of any Cairo visit brings me here. The romantic atmosphere welcomes a date with a special person, as well as makes for a great background for any business diner. The food is an extraordinary quality choice of Lebanese dishes with favorites as smoked eggplants or steak dices with pomegranate sauce.

Wow! This was an amazing restaurant. Hazin, our server, was very gracious and kind as he provided great service throughout our meal. My wife and I wanted to try it all, so we ordered hummus with chicken, fried halloumi, Chicken Fettah, and Shish Toouk Matafae. The hummus was savory and delightful on top of the homemade bread while the fried halloumi was salty and delicious! The Chicken Fettah was a creamy compliment to the savory and salty appetizers while the Shish Toouk Matafae provided a mild vinegar and spice flavor. Finally, we ended our meal with Konafa Jiben (Hazin’s suggestion). We had this dessert other places throughout Egypt, but this was hands down the best yet! I would very highly recommend Taboula.

There is a fountain at the entrance and many built in sofas with pillows. The humus beirouti is absolutely to die for! It's is whipped into a creamy spread for the fresh, warm, puffed up pita bread. The chicken swarma was good. The baba ganoush was good. The lemon mint was fantastic! The chicken shisha was excellent. I will miss the kind and attentive servers.

Delicious!! I ordered the spicy basil noodle with soy chicken. Honestly, this has been one of the best vegan meals I've had! And they really paid attention to the special requests, whereas at other places I sometimes questioned if the special requests were even relayed to the chef. The portion was decent, so I feel this is a pretty good "bang for your buck" - maybe even a steal - for vegan food in the area. I'd probably be full eating just half of the portion they gave me, but it tasted good enough that I'm eating all of it. I haven't tried the other stuff here yet, but it all looks so good that this probably won't be the only time I eat here ... I'm likely coming back even after my "fast" is over :)

A very big portion, solid ingredients, just a little too sweet to my taste. But it can last two meals for me! The fried rice has too much fake meat that I don't like, and it is on the oily side. Th combos are good deal too. I like the basil taste from the spicy eggplant, a good choice as well. Never very crowded, a lot of delivery and take-out I guess. A good place for a quick lunch.

Being vegan, there’s a lot more choices in LA than most cities. When I moved to Pasadena, one of the first places I went to was My Vegan, and have gone back many many times since. All of there food is so good, their mock-meats are out of this world and even the pricing-to-proportion ratio is awesome. Really can’t go wrong with anything here, and will be trying the breakfast food next. Egg Rolls, Mushroom soup, and fried rice are musts.

This place has better Thai food compared to our favorite vegan spot in the San Francisco Bay area. We ordered Tom kha soup with noodles and it was so creamy and delicious. Noodles, lemongrass, tofu, and the coconut milk all were so flavorful and tasty. Highly recommend this dish. They even accommodated our Jain dietary restriction of no onion potatoes garlic. The ambiance is wonderful with lovely intricate decor features in the lights and ornamental touches around. The food was delicious. I had appetizers only due to dietary requirements but I was not disappointed. My friend is had a mixture of appetizers and main meals. Everything was presented lovely and cooked really well. Very surprising place, would highly recommend and would love to go back. Service was excellent too.

A superb restaurant, located at the second floor in the new Four Seasons boat at the Nile.. The whole experience was awesome, starting from the superior Nile view, going through the very delicious food and topped by the excellent service! The Mongolian beef is definitely the most delicious but other dishes were so good too. We were celebrating a friend's birthday where they also prepared a special cake labeled with our friend's name and the cake was very good! I strongly recommend not to miss dining there, it is going to be an evening to remember and enjoy.

The food overall was amazing (we had a lot) and the service was fantastic. I've had better sushi, but I'm not bothered by what we got; it was very fresh.

The food was decent and the place had a cozy atmosphere. The waiter was unfriendly and rather rude verbally though. Additionally when we ordered more drinks, he passed the order to his colleague, who took literally 5 minutes to get 2 beers out of the fridge, then they let the beers sit for 5 minutes on the bar until a 3rd guy brought them to our table. Even though the place was almost empty and these guys were just standing around! No idea what was causing their bad behaviour. We were not aware of the slightest thing we could have done wrong. Was it racism, dislike for people that drink alcohol or just making fun of tourists?

I went for a family dinner, we ordered many appetizers, main dishes and sweets. OMG! The service is fast, and staff are friendly, and know what they serve. Food was good and tastes yummy! The sweets were amazig! Only one thing i didn't like, is that no Network inside the restaurant, bcs its semi underground. So you have to go out to book a taxi or do a call. You should order chicken liver dish with pemogranate sauce 😍 I recommend it to anyone.

Would go again, but only for the cold and hot mezze. We ordered hummus Beirut, falafel, spicy potatoes, grilled kebab cubes, Samaka beiroutia. Hummus Beirut: 8/10 mix of hummus with tahini, with olive oil on top and shredded tomatoes. I would definitely order it again, but the tahini flavour wasn’t as strong as expected and I would ask for it without the extra olive oil on top - completely personal preference though! This was so great with the warm bread that came with Falafel - 9/10 this was delicious, would recommend for sure spicy potatoes - 10/10 i could not stop eating these i was OBSESSED. Theres definitely a kick to them, probably too spicy for those who cant handle spice at all, but its not overtly spicy. grilled kebab cubes: 5/10 cubes of lamb meat, was kind of chewy, included a few cubes of just fat, I would not order again samaka beiroutia- 1/10 we each took one bite and gave the plate back to the kitchen :( it was a breaded, fried fillet of seabass doused in sauce which made the breaded fillet incredibly soggy and made the taste oily and soft. Please dont get this Service: the waiter seemed annoyed and impatient with us, but other waiters were very nice, so I think the service is entirely circumstantial based on who you get and how that person is feeling that day - which can be entirely valid! However we did feel a bit rushed to order and he incorrectly added in an extra water bottle to our check. Overall we would come again!! And would only order cold and hot mezze options instead of trying any of the main dishes

The best place to have some Lebanese food with its original taste!🇱🇧 The atmosphere is amazing with Fayrooz's song and the old photos of Lebanon, along side with the traditional handmade stuff like glass bottles and pottery.. Back to the food.. The tabbouleh is amazing, I would only add more totamos to it. The spicy potato is crunshy & yum yum (we ordered it without the spices) The eggplant fatteh is awesome (good thing it was without garlic) Makanet with Pomegranate molasses & the grape vines leaves were just perfectly Lebanese as for the taste 👌🏼 Will visit more frequently whenever I miss home food! ❤️
