I was satisfied by this meal, but it was entirely unspecial. Certainly not as good as the other restaurants in the Intercontinental, and not good enough sushi to justify the price point.

Had the best experience at Sushiramis! Haytham was my sushi chef and the food was top notch. I ordered nigiris with my fiancé and we enjoyed the experience very much. The sashimi was fresh!

Wonderful experience here came back twice for the food and service. Very fresh ingredients and even better staff. The chef was personable as well as our waiter Khaled. We will be back again!

This is one of the worst sushi places I've tried. The service was poor, no hostess to seat us, no one took our order until we asked, they just totally ignored us. No server other than the sushi chef. The sushi rice was poorly cooked and had no flavor. The salmon was not fresh. The miso soup came without tofu, and when I inquired we were told they were out of tofu. But they never told us when we ordered it. I returned the soup and told him he should have mentioned it to us, then the couple next to us ordered the soup and he didn't tell them either. To top it off, after making our meal the chef left the restaurant to go elsewhere, came back and didn't change his gloves or wash his hands and made the next person's order. Yuck! This was really not a good representation of the hotel. Very disappointed.

We came here on our last day looking for a meal before our flight back and it was the perfect choice. The chef was very helpful and even created new rolls adapting to our diet preferences. It’s a small spot inside Intercontinental Semiramis around the corner from reception. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We loved our meal choices and would love to come back again.

Actual sushi in Cairo?!? Who'd have thought? I have ordered sushi from mulitple locations in and around Cairo, but Sushiramis is the first place where the food was quality and the execution thoughtful. That being said, you're going to pay for it, Sushiramis IS expensive by Egypt standards (~$30 a person depending on how much/how fancy you order)
