Very unique experience.. they are really professional in Lebanese dishes. They needed 30 min to prepare food or may be more. This was a little bit long time but the food worth waiting. The dishes are big enough.. you will be full.. the working staff are cooperative and helpful. It is overlooking the nile and it has a related cafe called potter cafe.

Very, very tasty food, freshly prepared and extremely tasteful. Hummus, Falafel, Fatouche, Ful and Egg-Bacon like I never had before (but I haven't been to Lebanon 🇱🇧). I recommend going with an Arabic speaker. The view onto the busy street is nice, the place is very clean but retro-chic. The water for preparing coffee/tea is filtered. Service was a bit slow, though the shisha guy was very attentive and quick. Don't forget to tip!

I recently visited Taboon Restaurant in Zamalek, Cairo and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the shisha was decent, the food left much to be desired. We ordered an omelette, falafel, and hummus, but all three dishes were below average in taste and quality. The flavors were bland and lacked the authentic Middle Eastern touch that one would expect from a restaurant specializing in this cuisine. To make matters worse, we also decided to try their croissant, which I would strongly advise against. It was dry and tasteless, far from the flaky and buttery goodness that a good croissant should be. It seemed like an afterthought on their menu rather than something they put effort into. Furthermore, the lack of basic amenities in the restroom was quite surprising. There were no tissues or hand soap available, which is unacceptable for any establishment claiming to provide a satisfactory dining experience. Hygiene should be a top priority for any restaurant. However, I must admit that Taboon Restaurant does have one redeeming quality - its location on Abo ElFeda Street in Zamalek is excellent. The area is vibrant and offers a pleasant atmosphere for dining out. Additionally, it is worth noting that the prices at Taboon Restaurant are quite high considering the level of service and quality of food. In my opinion, the prices are overrated and do not align with the overall dining experience. While location is important, it should not be the sole factor in determining the value of a restaurant. Customers should expect a certain level of excellence in both taste and service when paying premium prices. Unfortunately, Taboon Restaurant did not meet these expectations during my visit. Overall, I cannot recommend Taboon Restaurant based on my visit. The subpar food quality, lack of attention to detail regarding hygiene in the restroom, and disappointing croissant overshadowed any positives that could have been found at this establishment.

Visited for dinner during which they expanded their reach not only into the sidewalk but onto the road as well. Seems popular with the shisha smoking crowd. Food is reasonably priced, Lebanese style with good selection of items on the menu. I ordered the butterfly chicken with thyme, it was beautifully presented but bland in taste. Luckily I also ordered a garlic sauce off the starter menu which helped improve on the taste. The mixed grill was also dry without sauce in addition. Again, the garlic appetizer did the trick.

The food is absolutely delicious. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Egypt. The view of the Nile is beautiful. The atmosphere is calm. The place is clean. The waiters are friendly. We spoke to the chef once. He was absolutely awesome. We even ordered delivery several times. The food always came quickly and made well. This is definitely one of the few restaurants that never disappoints.

When we found out that’s the bill came over what we ordered and they through a tantrum because their wasn’t able to put a wool over are eyes they added extra money on the tax and service it was a very bad experience I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s not a safe environment and u won’t enjoy your food at all. The tables inside the first floor were short and dont suit for dining in. The prices in the menu are not clear. You have to add 24 % extra charge. The meat in my dish was not well cooked. But I liked the fatosh salad it was good and delicious.

I tried the drinks there and they are well made.. They have good blends of coffee I haven't tried the food section yet but totally recommend in case you want to sit infront of the Nile on a sunny day in winter or breathy day in summer
