Cute dining room with outdoor seating. We missed breakfast so we ordered lunch, I ordered the chicken pesto pasta, it had good flavor but the sauce was cold so made the dish cold. Nice server but we probably won't be back. Edit: We decided to try it again for breakfast. We were very happy with our breakfast and orange juice. Food was fresh and hot.

Next to Tahrir square this hide courtyard bar/restaurant is famous for the breakfast but the restaurant is very good with a mix of traditional and international food. Hawawshi is very good and the portion is big. Beverage cost the correct (35/40 egypt pounds). Its very popolar for locals so probably you will need to wait for a table. The food is very mediocre and definitely over priced. I tried this place based on the good reviews but really there was nothing special about it . The place is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and nice. The bill turned out to be 5 EGP more than the 26% that they add for tax and service, which is mentioned on the menu. 5EGP is nothing but I felt frustrated getting ripped off at any given chance in Egypt.

We liked it a lot. They have a really nice outdoor seating area. The service initially was very welcoming and nice but also so slow. Our drinks that were supposed to come during breakfast arrived after breakfast. Mentioning this to the manager started an argument between him and the waitress and we found ourselves involved. We felt awkward about everything it certainly ruined the experience. It is a nice place nevertheless and the oriental/Egyptian cuisine was very authentic and good. I wouldn't go again though but it is not a bad place if you want to stop there for a bite. We walked from there to the Egyptian museum- about a 10 min walk.

The restaurant is beautiful and they have a great menue. The staff is very friendly they make an effort to connect with you if you don’t speak Arabic. We went here for a brunch and the presentation and quality are top notch, but the speed of the service is not that great. We found the service very slow and it took a while to get even a bottle of water. They would be a Five Star if they fix that.

Exciting experience, had my very first Egyptian meal here and somehow I feel I should go there everyday 😂😂😂well but have to try other places. Located downtown which is usually busy but the customer service was so great we didn’t have to wait so long to get served. Had some delicious food and tea. Alcohol is not sold here

Adorable restaurant in the heart of downtown cairo. All of our food was amazing and I just had a nice time eating and hanging out with my friends. The staff is friendly and my stuffed vine leaves were great. Awesome atmosphere with classic music giving this great spot the perfect setting.

The food in this place is great and the restaurant itself is cozy and clean. Nice experience. Besides the Oriental breakfast, they also offer English breakfast, croissants, coffee latte, cappuccino, americano, Turkish coffee, juices, etc. I would definitely come back to this place.

A very nice & cozy restaurant-cafe in the center of downtown Cairo. TL;DR good but not the best Went at about 9 pm. It was busy both the open and closed area. Had a table for two in the closed area and it was also a smoking area which is weird to allow smoking inside! We had the chicken club sandwich, portions were big tbh but it was medium level in taste. Also the menu has no description of what each sandwich/dish contains. I was surprised by beef slices and eggs in my sandwich!

Foul , falafel , omelettes and green salad included in the oriental breakfast. Sausages, butter , jam, potato wedges and green salad included in the English breakfast. We also tried mixed cheese platter & french fries. The orange juice was fresh . The tea and Turkish coffee also good. We tried brownies , cheese cake & fruit waffles with extra nutella . The waffles are a great choice . Then the brownies but the cheese cake was ordinary . The staff are friendly. The vibes are superb . There's another branch in zamalek . Will definitely go again . We had a good time there .

The service was flaky. An attendant forgot what I had ordered. For a 20-min later, another guy asked me again what I ordered and trick me said to double check the order. In this case, I had to wait for about 40 minutes. The taste is average, not anything special. But the price is higher than I expected. So I think the restaurant is in particular to serve tourists.

One of the best places around, we really enjoyed it. We came here looking for traditional Egyptian food. The menu has a lot to offer, and everything that we tried was delicious. They have appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, main dishes (with a diverse cuisine including Egyptian), a good variety of cold and hot drinks and desserts. We went for dinner and we liked it a lot. The staff was friendly and welcoming, service was coming good, but got a bit chaotic for a moment, specially when we asked for the dessert and check, one waiter was just going around telling us to wait, we asked for tea and they brought one cup only, and we also had to wait a lot for the dessert, the check and tea. Cash, debit and credit card payments are accepted. They have tables inside and outside (we sat outside), we were there early (18hs for dinner) and the place was packed, so probably we were lucky to get a table outside. During the whole sitting not too many tables were free, just one or two, so you get the point. Really recommended!

Уютно, вкусно, приятный персонал с хорошим английским. Первый раз ждали долго, второй- очень быстро. Красивый дворик, стильный. Для европейского человека- понятная еда. Заказывали Shish Taouk (куриный шашлык), Fajita Show (говядина на сковородке с овощами), Kebab Hakka Tajin (баранина в соусе),Oldish chicken (курица под соусом). Все блюда подаются с двумя гарнирами на выбор. Пасту и пиццу я бы не рискнула заказывать в египетском ресторане:) Рекомендую! Цены без учёта сборов и сервиса! (а они около 17%...)

We sat upstairs, which I felt like was quieter and more intimate whereas downstairs was open and a little bit louder. Still, I would’ve been happy either place.
