I am not one to review food that I have not tried and to be honest, if I was reading this it probably wouldn’t deter me from trying, but I had to put it in writing as the service made me really sad. We arrived at 8:45pm and where told to sit and they would come take our order, as orders came and went we inquired about our food and nothing. After an hour we stood up and asked about ordering, the owner said she forgot and was too tired to cook anymore. Quite obnoxious and condescending she kept saying sister come back tomorrow, I’m too tired now. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and hungry. As mentioned, this review probably won’t do much, but it makes me feel better to write it, an unhappy welcome to Cairo.

My girl-friend and I had 4 Sandwiches with different contents (potato, meat, chicken) + Fries + 3 drinks for 4€ altogether incl. tip. But food was very basic, home made fast food which took an hour.. Atmosphere was very authentic and worth going there.

Will fell like you are in home , as mama dhab will treat you like her son , but the quality of liver sundwich and sausage sandwiches are not that good , also she does not have any drink but there option to order drink from the coffee shop nearby , the price are reasonable and worth the try
