If you’re a tourist and you don’t know where to start with Egyptian food stop looking. This food was the best we had in Egypt! We got a full vegetarian lunch that was very very tasty.

This is my all the time favorite restaurant, very unique atmosphere, lovely staff, yummy food and yummy free Oriental dessert, I'm a regular customer for about more than 5 years now, still my favorite in Cairo. Try رز معمر and tajoury chicken fattah and fattosh salad, i love their salads and their special backed bread. Reasonable prices too.

Our tour guide brought us here for a late lunch (3pm) after a fun-filled day of tours and explorations. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, and the food was so tasty! This place because of their simply scrumptious food and their service deserves nothing less than 5 stars. On the last day of our tour, our tour guide took us here to treat us to another amazing Egyptian lunch - we were a small group of 5 including the guide and his driver. Not sure what the dishes are called in Arabic but here's what we ordered and simply loved - macaroni bechamel, beef and onion stew (came with white rice), grilled boneless chicken shish tawouk with rice and fries, salad, pickled eggplant, tahini, babaganoush, their special baked bread, cabbage rice, etc. Everything was delicious and we were really spoilt by the manager Mr. Saleh Al Oswani as at the end we got to try their kunafa and basbousa for dessert on the house along with some other delicacies. It's definitely a must-visit restaurant, very close to the Nile! Whenever we are back, we will definitely be dining again here.
