Not much room to eat there - but also comfy for take away. Sadly, not as good as it should be. Food and service should taste better. Went to Maadi branch, can't see myself going out of my way to go again.

I do not recommend going here. They do have some good traditional Egyptian food options BUT their menu is generally very limited. The waiter forgot to serve us multiple times and there were long waits. They also messed up our order once before (thankfully) fixing it. The pricing seemed low on the menu but added up much quicker than at a normal restaurant. They also charged us for fries that were supposed to be complimentary. Overall, the restaurant did have a nice style but was not priced well and the service was not very good. I would not return.

I went there to have breakfast at noon. The waiter was super friendly and nice, the atmosphere there is great and the music is good. 🩵 The place is quite small but so cozy. The food is quite expensive for a breakfast but the quality is good. I’d like to go there again.

Excellent and clean food, really tastes as if homemade, staff are helpful. I ate koshary which was very well done and light, not like the heavy ones we eat in koshary shops. Also, i took two sandwiches, one ful eskandarany which was also so fresh, delicious and hot, and the other one is eggplant taaema which was very very delicious and juicy, highly recommend u to try it! Overall place is good and highly recommend to have breakfast at.

Cool authentic Egyptian Food. Great quality; a bit pricey for what it is but when compared with other restaurants I think it’s pretty well priced. The service was pretty fast so I liked that 👍 Update: We went again 3 years later and the food is just as great. The menu changed a little but it’s still got its authenticity as well as it’s cleanliness. Would definitely recommend.

The place was nice, the food was well balanced specially the kochari. The only concern was that they are a little bit overpriced but it deserves in terms of their quality. Also; when I took my take away, I asked him to put some dakka aside (as it is served already in bottles on their tables for free!) ; suprisingly, I was charged for extra fees for some dakka !! So it was very annoying for me as it does make no sense.

I am a Tasmeya fan so I ordered Taameya Classic on two different visits with Tahina souce and was always delighted by the taste of this vegetarien fast food.

Nice take on traditional Egyptian food, in a clean restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the taamaya, the hawawshi and the ful. As in many places in Cairo, don't expect an amazing service, but it was overall quick and relatively attentive for an early lunch. I didn't like the atmosphere of the Maadi branch, it was dark and not particularly welcoming with the neon signs, especially during the day. Better order delivery from here or takeout.
