I'd give this 0 if I could. Conrad Cairo was a horrible experience. First room we got was a smoking room (we specifically requested non smoking). There was hair, dirt and crumbs all over the carpet. Toothpaste on the vanity, bath looked dirty, cups for water in bathroom had been used and just turned upside down, large amount of dirt and hair all over the tiles in bathroom. I've become convinced that the bed had been slept in and just pulled up. The sheets weren't tight or tucked in like you see in most hotels and the pillow smelt like a mix of cigarette smoke and perfume. We got our room changed, this was supposed to have been sorted while we were out for the day. When I got back, nothing had been done and I had to go through the whole thing again and wait for them to find one. Second room was better but again, it didn't look like it had been vacuumed. Towels had stains. Sheets had stains and so did one pillow. But bed smelt clean and was tucked in like you expect from a hotel. We also had room service let themselves in while we were in the room. We weren't doing anything but my wife could have been getting change or just got out of the shower (right near the door). Requested a couple of bottles of water which I had to follow up on after an hour of waiting. At checkout the reception staff clearly didn't want to be there. In particular, the lady came off very rude - barely spoke to us, didn't smile, and didnt say goodbye or thank us for our stay. Took our room number, then rang someone to check the mini bar and made us wait while they did. Wouldn't be a problem if she was nice and told us what was happening. I had told her what we used and we paid for that. Then when getting in the shuttle someone comes running out yelling at our shuttle and rep saying the receptionist said we haven't paid. After a 5 minute argument between our tour rep and hotel staff he went back inside to double check. Another 5 or 10 minutes later he came back out and said we can go. Some individuals were nice, there was one lady at the restaurant for breakfast that went out of her way to make sure you were happy. But overall the experience with Conrad Cairo was the worst experience I've ever had. Something you'd never expect from a 5 star hotel. Please never stay here.

Nice hotel, was clean with most staff friendly. We checked out and was told there were no more charges to take care of but wouldn't give a copy of the bill which was odd but we were in a hurry to catch a flight so just left. 5 minutes later they chased us down to our tour vehicle and accused our group of taking items from the rooms mini bar. Our group is well traveled and knows better than to use mini bar items in a hotel, the manager knew we were in a hurry to catch a flight and kept demanding money for the items, manager was clearly lying as he could not tell us what we took or prove it and after a 20 minute screaming match in which they threatened us, yelled obscenities at us and came really close to a fist fight they realized we weren't just going to pay the charges. Have traveled all over the world and have never had a hotel treat us like this especially a hilton. I Would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone at all!!

Outstanding service from the very start. All the staff are very attentive. Nothing is an issue. This is the best hotel service I have ever received. The newly refurbished rooms are beautiful. They’re not huge but they’re more than big enough. As a diamond member I was upgraded to an executive king deluxe on the 21st floor with balcony and Nile view. It was great! The spa and pool facilities are great too.

First of all, I have serious concerns about the hygiene of the hotel. When we entered our room after check-in, we saw several hair on the bed, and than we politely asked for the bedsheet to be changed. However, the cleaning staff hated us for that. He got angry and tried to justify the hair by pushing it away with their hands, almost throwing the comforter at us while changing it. His excessive anger while we remained calm indicates a serious lack of hygiene training among the hotel staff. Additionally, smoking is very common in the elevators, and cigarette butts are thrown on the floor. Arab male groups from different countries make others (especially women) uncomfortable by staring at them. Frankly, I don't understand how this hotel can be a Conrad. We also had issues with the air conditioning; due to the central system, we couldn't manage to heat the room as we wish. Well for some positivity, there were no problems at the reception and restaurant sections. And the hotel view was impressive

If I could give zero stars I would. A disgusting excuse for a ‘5 star hotel’, you’d find kinder people and a better standard of facilities at a motel. For a ‘non smoking’ room, cigarette ash was everywhere. Used towels and creams from a previous guests were still there. Dust, rubbish and fingerprints were on every surface. The shower door and bathroom door was broken and the toilet did not flush. Our phone was rung at all hours of the night from 11pm - 3am with no answer as well as knocking on our doors. Front desk were beyond rude and disgusting and were extremely sexist and misogynistic. Shame on the Hilton for associating themselves with such a despicable hotel and treating their ‘valued customers’ with such rudeness. To top it off they will not give our money back! Thieves!

I would disagree with some who thought this was at best a 4/5 hotel. It is undergoing renovation and I can see where the older parts of the hotel may look worn, but the new parts are impressive. We were in a new room and it was very nice with a sitting area, and a balcony with a good view of the Nile from the 21st floor. Some friends stayed in an older room and it was not as nice as ours and I can see where some thought it was a 4/5. The only time we heard construction noise (and admittedly, it was not insignificant - a noise like drilling through concrete) was between the hours of `10 am and 5pm just as we had been told by the hotel. The breakfast area was exquisite with a live piano playing for breakfast. The room was quite large so if you wanted to hear the music you could sit closer to the piano, if not, you could sit further away. We prepaid the breakfast buffet and ate two nights at two of their restaurants. All of the food items were tastefully presented and flavorful. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the Conrad Cairo during our vacation for Egypt. To say this was one of the best hotel we have ever stayed, is an understatement. We were welcomed as we came through the entrance to register our hotel rooms. The rooms were amazingly spacious and very well decorated. While we were out, the house keeping did a perfect job of cleaning and making our bed, providing bottled water and resupplying any body wash, shampoo or conditioner. The staff was always courteous, always helpful and ready to go to another level to assure the guests were happy. If I ever go back to Cairo, this hotel would definitely be my first choice to stay.

5 star prices, 1 star service. No trust. Have to go back to desk and sign for morning checkout l, else luggage won’t be release, stayed in executive suite, but had to call 2-3 times for even water. Room was not cleaned in spite of reminding and staff sitting and chatting in the corridor. no cups provided to drink tea. Disappointing. It did have Great ambiance though.

Excellent service and premium food. Ask for Mr. Shawky Elbassiouny who made our stay like never before. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay is memorable one. The hotel was cozy, breakfast was awesome with a variety of local food. Location is excellent. Housekeeping was available.

Very noisy. Very very noisy. Drills and hammers every day 8am to 4pm. They're renovating and you can not sleep in any room in this hotel. Also, the sound of water heaters and random banging and scraping throughout the night. Reception was informed. Guest relations said they'll get back to us. They didn't get back to us. Other than that the food is bad. Eat outside. Don't stay here and if you do, don't eat here.

Wonderful property, but is undergoing a large renovation. Top floor was noisy during the day, but we were gone during most of it. Really looking forward to seeing the hotel after the renovation is complete

I enjoyed the stay but with some comments: 1. The bathroom was lacking maintenance with leaking water taps. 2. Room service was delaying every time I called. 3. The breakfast restaurant was magnificent and they have a very talented and friendly pianist 😊🌹🎩🎹 4. Garage was nice and easy to deal with by yourself.

I would love to give this hotel more stars because they were very accommodating seeing as we arrived early morning but the room needs to be thoroughly cleaned and not with a spray bottle and rag. There was hair in the tub, the bathroom mirror was dirty and the shower still had soap scum on the glass! The table had old spills and sticky stuff on it as well as the desk and you might want to consider dusting...the amount of dirt is ridiculous! I asked the service desk to send someone to clean...she didn't even turn the water on to rinse out the tub. She spray something wiped it down and kept going. I had to ask another cleaning person for supplies and I cleaned the bathroom the proper way. Not at all what I expect from a Hilton hotel.

The Conrad Cairo was an exquisite 5 star experience! The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are luxurious, the food is fantastic, and the staff is professional, courteous and welcoming! The hotel is very luxurious and perfectly decorated. The lobby, restaurants, lounges and rooms were magnificent! The staff went out of their way to get to know us and our preferences. We were greeted by name at every opportunity and they even knew what we wanted (how we like our coffee, what kind of juice with breakfast, etc.) These small gestures truly impressed me and for the first time it struck me that this is how a genuine 5 star hotel is operated and managed! I highly recommend the Conrad to anyone planning to visit Cairo!

Our stay was really good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. From the reception to the room service. We stayed on the 18th floor. Shout out to Alaa and the rest of the the room service crew. Made out stay that extra special. Just a few things tho, Swimming pool was nice but the renovations made it very noisy. Breakfast was great but the front desk ladies need to have a better communication. Someone (management) has to tell them their skirt suit were ill fitted and far too much make up for morning presentations. Sorry. Just my observation. Otherwise all good. Keep up the good work Conrad. Will visit u again in the future.

We stayed at the Conrad Cairo for 7 nights this month, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who values their hotel experience. The concierge had contacted me in advance to provide information on the property (including that they had some construction taking place), helped me book airport transfers for our arrival at almost 3am, and helped me book guides/drivers who were amazing! The property also has a bank and an ATM for your convenience. They very kindly gave me an extra late checkout as we did not need to leave for the airport until around 5pm.

I stay in this hotel each time I come to Cairo for work. Nice hotel with well equipped rooms. There are many restaurants available inside, a swimming pool and a gym room with lots of equipment. But the strength of the hotel is definitely that the hotel staff is very kind, efficient and attentive

I travel frequently and this is easily the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I will start by saying the hotel’s location isn’t bad, but isn’t great (across the Nile from Zamalek) and that the breakfast buffet staff was wonderful, welcoming, and accommodating. Now for the litany of downsides: If you are a woman, exercise extreme caution. The security guard at the hotel entrance would whistle at me repeatedly whenever I walked by. I sat at the hotel restaurant for lunch and a woman (who said she was not a hotel guest) tried to traffic me (yes, as in human trafficking). A male guest in the hotel repeatedly tried to solicit my female friend. There were hardly ever any women in the lobby, which I thought was odd when we first checked in, and then I realized why that was the case. We repeatedly ensured that we had the “do not disturb” light on in our room and still, returned to our room to find cleaning staff in our room. They entered our room unauthorized. The entire hotel absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke. Even if you’re in a non-smoking room, it comes in through the room vents and sticks to the atrocious carpeting in the room and in the hallways. I got stuck in the elevator (the doors did not fully open) for several minutes. I pushed the emergency buttons in the elevator and received no assistance. After the elevator doors finally fully opened to the lobby, I informed security and the front desk of what happened and they dismissed me and did not take any action to resolve the issue. They allowed hotel guests to continue to use the faulty elevator. Prior to checking into the hotel, we had paid for our stay in full - I even double-checked with Hilton that the stay was fully paid. Yet, several hours after we checked out with the front desk, hotel staff began calling me incessantly on WhatsApp via their personal phone numbers and asking me to provide them with my credit card information as they alleged we owed a balance. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Truly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had - this hotel should not bear the Conrad name.

We stayed three nights during our trip to Egypt. We were able to see river Nile and its traffic including sun rise. There is a beautiful Nile river walk just across the main road. You have to be a little courageous to cross the traffic but it’s not difficult. Entry fee per person is ,60 Centre in local currency. That is another advantage of staying there. Hotel breakfast is sumptuous. It has two dining area and caters to Italian and Asian tastes. We went for Asian place and was pleasantly surprised by choices. I have also added different pictures of Nile river walk. It has many eating places. Every thing was spruced up because of Ramadan. Hotel staff was friendly and very attentive. I would greatly recommend this place.

It is really long to check-in, from 2:30 pm and we were only to check-in at 5:30 pm Some rooms were not clean as expected from a 5 star hotel. Not much diversity of food where every day was almost the same food. To be fair we did checkout at 3:00 pm

Amazing hotel with a 5 star experience. Being a diamond member I had the access to the executive lounge as well which made the stay extra comfortable. I was also upgraded to executive rooms because of the status with Hilton. The breakfast was awesome with both Egyptian and international food. All the staff from reception to housekeeping were super friendly. I had a nice view from the balcony as well. The room and the bathroom was loaded with amenities. Thank you for also honoring my early check in and late check out request which was very helpful for me. Definitely one of the best Hilton properties I have stayed.

We are sitting in our room at Conrad Cairo at 5:10 pm wondering what has gone wrong. Cleaning was started at sometime and stopped at sometime before we returned from tour. Bathroom cleaning not complete. Dirty rag left hanging on sink, no toilet paper, no kleenex, no hand towels or face wash cloths. We will not talk of the dust sitting everywhere. After multiple calls housekeeping manager (?) came and reviewed. He called room cleaner and had " loud discussion". They removed dirty rag and dropped off towels, and on way out said "sorry" (?). Not a stellar performance for recommending staying at this hotel.

Nice renovated hotel in the sea of Nile River hotels in Cairo. The decor is modern and pleasing to the eye. Club lounge is on a top floor with excellent views of the river and city. The staff at front desk and lounge (where we experienced) were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were well appointed with all the right amenities, power outlets, and bathroom furnishings. Only complaint is that housekeeping could do a better job with wiping down the countertops and overall cleanliness on the floors. There is a casino in the basement, it's small and they do register your passports if you want to enter. It's smoking allowed so that may bother some people.

Amazing stay. Beautiful rooms. Very clean. Excellent customer service and highly responsive staff. Traveled with our family of kids and elderly grandparent, dietary restrictions and all of the restaurants and housekeeping staff were so thoughtful and helpful. We had a late flight out of Cairo and they were very understanding and made us very comfortable while we waited for our flight. There is a pharmacy adjacent to the hotel and restaurants with a variety of delicious food options (allergy friendly and gluten-free). We will absolutely return to this hotel during our next visit to Cairo.

I’ve stayed at some of the best hotels in the world including a few of the top hotels in Cairo and the Conrad Cairo has a wonderful hard and soft product. The suite is delightful and well decorated, but the service is world class. Ms. Nada and the Executive lounge team stands out and make the experience of staying at the Conrad, world class. Would I stay here again? Without a doubt.

A luxurious hotel greatly positioned facing the Nile river in the center of Cairo all rooms facing the Nile or have some side view of it it is a part of the Hilton group hotels rooms a spacious and beds comfortable I had some little remarks which I don't think will affect the hotel as a whole the TV was not working I asked for repair a technician came but failed to repair some other small missing accessories in a 5 stars hotel but the front desk said was due to Covid restrictions. But on the other hand the breakfast buffet was gorgeous with luxury types of food the staff all around so friendly and smiling and helpful the complementary WiFi is good. It's a good choice for your accommodation.

I spent 8 nights there which is the longest stay I've had in a hotel, and it felt like home. Granted it's not the most luxurious in Cairo any more, nor the most convenient location despite the Nile view, but the friendly service very much made up for it, and you can't beat the value. Staff from check-in to concierge and executive lounge were all professional, and the restaurant team greeted us like family every morning at breakfast. The cleaning man on our floor (I believe Ahmed is his name?) was a delight, and he regularly surprised us with small kind gestures. The hotel is going through renovation, so the entrance and the lobby are temporary, which is quite low-key but has a certain old-world charm. Definitely pay the premium for the "DELUXE PREMIER" rooms on the top floors, as they are at least 20 years newer with elegant modern design compared to the "classic" ones which are showing their ages. North-facing rooms have better views of the Nile with no obstruction. Lounge was excellent - we basically got our dinner covered for two or three days when we had a lot of work to do, paired with delicious Egyptian wine. However, they don't have too many suites, especially updated ones, so don't expect much of an upgrade for elite members.

Worst hotel experience ever, my reservation was king bed, they didn't give me this at first until I wait for 2 hours! Also, the Nile view that was in my reservation I didn't get it + I woke up at 7 am because the hotel doing some repairs! 7 am the guest relation manager said we already informed Booking.com about this so we can't do anything about it. Overall everything below average

The worst experience in my life!!! Never again. I warn people not to stay in this hotel at all. A renovation is undergoing and all the sounds you can imagine starts early in the morning. I have written this review after three days of chasing the hotel management to stop this but the management of the hotel never bothered even to call back to address the situation. I will keep it coming and post my review until a serious action is taken against ever senior staff I have tried to reach and they kept ignoring my complaints.

I've had a great stay at this hotel last november. I cannot forget the pillow comfort above everything. After a full day tour and some evening tour around the city, dozing off is the best part into those sleep-inducing extra comfortable pillows and the bed itself. The hotel staffs were great as well. Would love to go back.

The hotel was nice and cozy, breakfast was amazing with so much varieties of food. security was high and well organized, no one can enter the lifts without the guest key. Location is Superb. This is not the first time I stay in the Conrad hotel and differently not the last, the location is good it is close to all the tourism areas, the cleanliness and housekeeping is up to the hour. I had a small issue with the hot water in the room and I spoke to Mr. Loay (customer service manager), he was very helpful and nice to talk too, he changed the room to a better one in a higher level with more facilities. All the staff were nice and helpful and that’s the main reason why I always stay in the Conrad Hotel.

The hotel is incredible. The staff are unbelievably kind. Ahmed, part of the wait staff is an amazing man, always looking to make your breakfast experience the best one yet. I am rating this a four star and not five because the security team is rude to Egyptians which is odd. A friend came to assist me with a tour to Giza and they treated him as a second class citizen. They were suspicious of him and alleged he did not have any business in the hotel. I was shocked and saddened he experienced such mistreatment at the hands of the security staff at the Conrad hotel.

I went there for a special occasion. The Event Saloon was huge and so elegant. The design and the quality were all at the finest. Ballroom was looking good. The food and the drinks were delicious. People liked the taste. There is auto park in the garage. For 1 hour parking it is 55 EGP, for the full day parking it is 220 EGP. And also it is easy to reach to the Lobby from Garage

My stay was ok. Food choices at the breakfast buffet is pretty restricted to Mainly Egyptian cuisine and response to problems with your room takes pretty long to come. Check in and out is really slow. If you don't smoke, you will find the atmosphere in the lobby choking. The language barrier is much for a purported international five star hotel.

The rooms are fine, the service and breakfast are top! BUT, it's super old-fashioned, huge, and full of construction work. Everywhere! The pool was nice, though. It's really deep, so you can actually swim. The massage was good, but definitely pricey. I'm not going back.

This is a great place to be while visiting Cairo. It's a five stars hotel. Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. We had a short but enjoyable stay at Conrad Cairo. Staff would spare no effort to meet your needs. The Hotel is right by the Nile, so you provided a great view. However, it's just a bit far from the Airport. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Cairo.

The Conrad Cairo was the perfect ending to an ideal vacation in Egypt with Go Ahead Tours. The place was immaculate, huge and well-run. The air was clean (ideal for non-smokers!), and the entire staff were attentive. The housekeeping service was amazing and our attendant AMV always greeted us with a welcoming smile. He was prompt to respond and I particularly appreciated his follow-up. The hot breakfast buffet had many options from which to choose. The Conrad offers a variety of activities including the casino and nightly entertainment in the various lounges. The Executive Lounge provided top shelf service with tremendous views. I highly recommend the Conrad. The service and cleanliness made me feel at home.

If you're looking for a luxurious stay in Cairo, look no further than the Hilton Conrad Cairo. From the moment you walk into the beautiful lobby, you know you're in for a treat. The view from my executive room was simply breathtaking, with the sparkling River Nile stretching out before me. The room was spotless and well-appointed, making it a true sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. I was also fortunate enough to be upgraded to the executive lounge, which offered a range of amenities and services that truly exceeded my expectations. The staff in the lounge were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I would like to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Raghda, who provided exceptional service and made my experience in the lounge truly unforgettable. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the Oak Grill restaurant. The food was amazing, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from and an atmosphere that was both elegant and welcoming. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a lively meal with friends, the Oak Grill is the perfect choice. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Hilton Conrad Cairo to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Cairo. From the beautiful view of the River Nile to the excellent service provided by the staff, this hotel truly offers the best of everything.
