I travel a lot and love it when I discover gems like this hotel. It was convenient, clean and secure! The building has security cameras, a doorman and a key card elevator. Reception is manned 24hrs and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay great. I am now proud to call them friends and will definitely stay here again! ❤🍒

Please beware of some type of scam they are doing: because of reasons they randomely choose (for instance, the guest is 1 hour late than the estimated arrival time) they redirect you to a branch nearby - in fact a much lower standard hotel in its proximity at the same price of the initial booking (through a major 3rd party) I assume they are trying to circumvent all taxes the 3rd party is incurring and put all the expense on the guest's shoulders. Staff is not being fair with the communication even when the booking and arrival time are confirmed several times beforehand. Read carrefully all the bad reviews they have on booking providers sites - they might be the most accurate; the positive ones are possibly produced by guests who are checking in without a prior booking.

Excellent customer service! My camera broke on my first day here and they helped me find a place to fix it. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and all the fixtures are new. Air con works well and so does the hot water. Super clean. I just wish I didn’t have a room facing the street but earplugs block almost all the noise. Walking distance to the Egyptian Museum. I have to say they will really help you with your trip and they do offer tours at a reasonable rate as well. I highly recommend.

You may wonder: why does this hotel cost so much when it looks like a family hotel? 1. It’s in an upscale apartment mansion in an upscale neighbourhood in the centre of Cairo. 2. It’s very near the city centre shops street 3. The free breakfast is fit for a king/queen 4. The people at the counter are kind, honest and helpful 5. Cleanliness is up to par with a very clean home. Though there are some room for improvement: 1. The hot water pressure is sometimes low What this hotel is good for: If you’re a traveller or couple comfortable in exploring the local environment and interested in the many sights inside Cairo city. At the same time you want a good nights sleep and cosy services.

Excellent place to stay at Cairo downtown. 15 Mins walking distance from Egyptian Museum. Clean rooms great breakfast and exceptional service. Tony, Ahmed and Noor at the front desk went out of their way to please us. The maids tided up evry day and kept our rooms clean. Dont get put off by the entrance. All downtown buildings are old but when you are inside the guest house it is clean and comfortable. Lots of good restauraants in 3 mins walking distance for Lunch and Dinner. Sinbad grill just around the corner. Recommend this place without any hesitation. Bathrooms especially in room 301 small but manageable. Good Security ofered by hotel. Perfectly safe place to stay while in Cairo.Extremely friendly staff ready to help at all times

Great hotel in Cairo downtown. Great staff. Nice breakfast. Beautiful room. Small but clean bathroom. The room had good windows, the noise level was acceptable.

This is a lovely oasis of calm, clean and friendly staff in the middle of bustling downtown. Room was huge and comfortable and the reception staff incredibly helpful & welcoming. Having experienced other hotels in that area, this really is a gem!

In the family hotel "Crown" we have been stayed for 2 days and 3 nights. The hotel is in a great, central location, close to tourist attractions. Despite its central location, the hotel is tucked away into side roads so it is quiet inside. It is a boutique hotel, only a few rooms, but run at a great level of service. Rooms are very clean and modern - photos of them on various booking platforms do not give them justice. There's a lot of attention to detail there, even to simple things like electric plug adapters available in rooms for any type of plug. The breakfast is very tasty. Hotel staff is helpful and can organise trips from Cairo for tourists. They also organise transfers and currency exchange if one needs that. There are also women working there, which is a rare occurrence in Egypt. This hotel was such a nice surprise for us, exceeded our expectations. It is a great place for tourists in Cairo.

I had a great time at Crown Hotel. They gave me a double bed room when i only booked a single-bed room. They also allowed me to have breakfast out of the normal schedule. If i go back to cairo I’d definitely stay again there. Highly recommend!

It is located on the third floor, old building, with antic elevator. It was a little hard to find. But it might not be a big problem to the young people who are used to using Google map. Compared to the price near downtown hotels, the price was reasonable. The room was clean and people on the desk are so friendly. I dare to say we've got the best service . When we needed to take a taxi, he himself call the taxi and helped us to take the taxi. So we could easily go to our destination to the airport, too. Still, I remember their kindness, thank you.

Seem like Motel ... but good rooms

Only three words "Super Great Hotel". The room is very clean and breakfast is delicious, and I especially love the fresh mango juice. The service is incredible great, especially Kareen who helped me a lot, I felt like as at my home. If I go to Egypt next time, I definitely will choose this hotel again!

There is no word to describe how excellent this hotel management is. The staffs are very friendly, helpful, and even went above and beyond to make sure that we're safe even when we're not in the hotel. Every part of the hotel radiates a very positive energy - from the gate, to the elevator, to the hotel reception, even the hallway feels radiant. Definitely a place to go if you're looking for some place peaceful and homy in the hustle bustle city of Cairo. Will definitely come back here if I had the chance!

Ahmed and Karim were incredible hosts, I’ve never had an experience at a boutique hotel like this. Their hospitality was incredible, and the location and hotel was amazing as well. It can be hard to find good customer service like this in this part of the world, but they went far and beyond to make us feel at home, even so far as coming down to make sure we got our ride to the airport okay (translating our flight & terminal information to the driver) and even giving us food and water for the trip home. The breakfast, food, and drinks were incredible too. Can’t really think of any downsides, aside from the location being slightly noisy at night, though the soundproofing is adequate.

It's close to everything and it was a great price. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even made a breakfast earlier one day when we had to go out early on a day trip. Our room had two little balconies.

After spending 3 days at this hotel, I no longer felt that I was just in one another hotel in Cairo, but actually felt at home. 'Friendly staff' is a grave understatement after seeing how much the hotel owner Yossef is dedicated to the well being and best experience of every dear guest in the hotel during their time in Cairo. You may find bigger hotels with better amenities and clean rooms at downtown, but few places in Cairo would make you feel as comfortable and well respected as this place. Thank you!

Be aware that your room might be given away when you don't arrive before 5pm. We did not receive any warning via email or what's app, but just learned about it when we arrived at the hotel. The owner brought us to another hotel and wanted to give us the room for the same price. Only when we pointed out it was much worse, he adjusted the price. We had to wait for towels more than 30 min that evening. He promised we would get breakfast in time, but it arrived so late we couldn't eat anymore before our tour

Very nice hotel with great rooms. Big and spacious. The hotel's staff is very very friendly, helpful, and kind. Very comfortable beds. In general a very welcoming hotel. Prices and quality are excellent. Very clean, they clean everyday. They organized us a private driver, Omar, to take us to the pyramids. He was very nice and kind, and knew the city by heart. We hope they a future ahead!

This hotel is amazing. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels but never before received such outstanding service and friendliness. Nothing is too much trouble. Nothing fazes Kareem. Excursions and transfers were all arranged professionally. The hotel doesn't offer 100 percent so much as 150 percent as the baseline. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. If you visit Cairo and don't stay here you will definitely miss a special experience.

One of my favorite hotels in Egypt very clean and it situate in the center of down town the workers are so respectful and nice they did all our reservations when we need an uber they provide us one so quickly I want to give a special thanks to the lady who cook for us a delicious breakfast and natural fresh juice with different types of Egyptian dessert and to Yousef who works on the reception book with them without any hesitation 👌
