Overall this hotel has its perks but lacks consistency, gym equipment and ideal location. The staff is very helpful for the most part. The rooms are nice but mine smelled of smoke. A colleague in another room had smoke coming from the adjoining room and had to complain about the smoke and noise from the adjoining room multiple times before they offered to do anything about it. The breakfast does offer a nice spread of fresh foods and coffee with nice views of the river. The gym was very disappointing for the size of the place. You call this a nice hotel but only offer a couple machines and free weights that only go up to 18kgs in a room that doesn’t even face the river. The hotel is on a very busy street that you can cross by risking your life dodging cars or walk a few blocks on a narrow sidewalk to get to a very hot sky bridge with no air conditioning. While checking out I was charged for a sparkling water that I did not drink. The staff asked another one of my colleagues to rate their stay and when he didn’t give them a 10/10 they were very rudely asking him for reasons he didn’t like his stay. As a professional musician transporting an instrument I was rudely hassled for bringing my instrument into the room to store it. This was only a problem some nights. Another nights they did not care. I would appreciate some consistency and not being hassled to just store my instrument in the room. This place is just more hassle than it’s worth in my opinion.

Perfect in every way possible! This hotel never ceased to amaze me from the moment I entered the door! Rooms were specious, we were greeted by the room butler and welcoming drink/snacks that were changed every evening! You have two pieces of clothing to be ironed for free daily. Unpacking/packing service! And most importantly, very good hairdressers in Richard Chefz salon inside the hotel! It was convenient and their work was very profassional! Lobby was also really nice overlooks Nile river! Highly recommended!

The St. Regis Cairo draws guests to the heart of Egypt's timeless metropolis, weaving a powerful new story of luxury in the region with unprecedented local heritage and outstanding views of the Nile and Old Cairo. The hotel stands as a pivotal landmark with its 36 stories, gracefully designed for those who are only inspired by the unexpected by the renowned architect Michael Graves. Paying homage to 362 lavishly appointed rooms, suites and upscale apartments, luxuriant comfort prevails with state-of-the-art facilities, signature rituals and 7 thoughtfully crafted restaurants and bars.Bespoke and personalized service is exemplified by the signature St. Regis Butler service, to anticipate your every need from the moment of unpacking to fulfilling your unique preferences and executing them in perfect detail throughout your stay. Whatever the request, St. Regis Butler Service is available with our compliments any time, day or night.

The hotel should be ranked as a 9 star hotel. It is really a piece of art. Built as a unique architecture with excellency in every single detail. Rooms are wide large and spacious containing any thing might ever a guest needs. Free beverages and fruits are complimentary supplied.Services are more than perfect. Every room has a butler confined to make all the guests’ dreams come into reality. Staff is excellent and helpful. Food and restaurants are fantastic. Indeed it’s best of the best.

Excellent location, Very welcoming staff, Faced miss match with our booked room, solved quickly, The lobby is beautiful, Rooms are spacious but badly designed with ugly furniture for me, Very Bad isolation you can hear next room conversation and upper floors showering in HD! Concierge always busy and might not answer your calls! Very good breakfast, gym and spa, They have one of the best room service.

We booked a pool day for our daughter’s 11th birthday. Booked ahead and the staff were wonderful: went out of their way to decorate a delicious cake and birthday decorations. The pool is amazing, as is the hotel in general. Prob ably the largest hotel I’ve ever been in. To follow up celebrations we are at the Italian restaurant. Staff again were wonderful and attentive. Great experience and highly recommended.

Well, was excited when checking in at St Regis. 3 days in a row, the breakfast was a bit hectic, always asking 2 or 3 times for an omelette that seemed never coming. My laundry, also has to wait 3 days before I call to ask for its return. These kinds of things, you don’t expect it from a hotel like St Regis. Anyway, the overall stay was good, but service delivery needs to be taken care of. All the best

Built to showcase luxury and elegance, yet staff and service culture definitely lack sophisticated business orientation. A business forum inside a spacious rich-decorated ballroom, for instance, was negatively affected by service staff noise behind the room's walls and doors. Signage and directions for guests and events participants need to be clearer and more frequent at all points. Car parking is very expensive whilst it's limited space and confusing driving ways lead to challenging maneuvers. All in all, it is a high-end hotel but offers less comfort and enjoyment compared to its rivals.

I can not recommend this hotel enough. 1. All staff are friendly and professional. 2. Room was amazing: quiet, blackout blinds, clean, large, bed was amazing, shower was power shower and water was hot. 3. Singapore restaurant was amazing: definitely recommend - we visited twice. 4. Hotel is beautiful, clean, relaxing. Piano played every evening we were there and it was great music. The library and bars are brilliant. Can't recommend enough.

The best experience ever!!! We have traveled a lot but this is the best service hands down. Our family was treated like royalty. Very beautiful hotel, amazing food and great accommodations. Special thanks to the staff, we loved the Pancake Queen & Mohamed from the restaurant, Hashem from reception, Alan from management, All were amazing and extremely hospitable.

Probably the best hotel in Cairo! It opened in 2019/2020, so still very new. From the gorgeous lobby cafe, to the "floating on the water" Singaporean/Chinese restaurant (nicest I've seen outside of Singapore/China), to the hallway and the rooms, everything was tastefully luxurious. We got upgraded to a Metropolitan Suite since my wife is a Platinum elite, which we appreciate a lot. Unlike those "junior suites" (essentially studios) common in the US, this one was truly spacious, and so comfortable that we pretty much didn't leave the room for the second day. What impressed me the most was the service. I left my wallet on the Uber on my way to the hotel, and the driver spoke little English, so the front desk receptionist helped me (Mariam? Might have remembered the spelling wrong) translate and arrange him to send it back. I couldn't be there to pick it up as I was heading to a friend's wedding, but they took care of everything for me, including tipping the driver as I requested and bringing my wallet back to my room. The butler team greeted our arrival with fresh guava juice, and pressed my shirt in a timely fashion. It was a very chaotic day that left me with nothing but gratitude.

This hotel is a piece of heaven on earth. It's services are topnotch. The rooms are exotic and large. The food are tasty. The place is calm and well managed. The staff are nice and cordial. The hotel provides and treats you with excess luxury.....😊 I could never have asked for a better place to spend my 5 days business trip in Cairo, Egypt. This hotel meets my expectation, and in fact beats it beyond imagination. I look forward to coming back again to this hotel when next I am back in Cairo. PS: PLEASE THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT SHOULD PUT SIGNS OF "NO SMOKING" IN PUBLIC AREAS. This is because Egyptians seem to find it acceptable to smoke anywhere they are even inside event halls. This is quite appalling. To control such situations, it is important for the hotel to make it clear that the rooms are non-smoking and also people should not smoke at public places and event areas but at designated locations. Hence, places that are designated for smoking should also be indicated and provided in each floor of the hotel. I love St. Regis Hotel. It made my stay in Egypt worth the while.

Nice Hotel and Staff... But be careful, don't give them deposit in credit card they will not return your money back. I was surprised that this behavior will be through this establishment. Give them only cash deposit to get it back by hand. My 200 dollars didn't go back to my card.

If I could give this incredible hotel 10 stars it wouldn’t be enough. The St. Regis Cairo is not only gorgeously appointed, at a cost of $1.3B to construct, the staff and offerings define luxury. We’ve stayed at other 5 star hotels in Cairo but this one is head and shoulders above all the rest. We thoroughly enjoyed the lavish breakfast buffet, private dining dinners, complimentary access to many of the spa facilities, reading in the library, evenings with friends in the lounge area enjoying drinks and views of the Nile and the lovely butler service that catered to our every need. The rooms and baths are beautifully decorated and luxurious with extraordinarily comfortable beds and pillows. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this beautiful property for stays in Cairo.

Luckily we grapped the last Nile partial view room for our stay, It was short trip for attending a conference in Cairo and this hotel was the best part of my journey. The entrance is very luxurious, the part of old Cairo facing the Nile calls for many compensation for sure due to limited space and congested area but this hotel have manged it all very gracefully. Checked in at 3rd floor reception then escorted to our beautiful room. We needed few items to be pressed the bellboy informed my husband that our booking entitled us for 4 pcs pressing every day of our stay 😀. This was music to my ears, of course with bieng engaged in the conference for most of my days and exploring the city in whatever time I have left, I couldn't explore the hotel more, although I read about the great restaurants in it. We did order in room breakfast (eastern breakfast)on the first day, every dish was absolutely delicious 😋 😍

Wow. Literally the best hotel in Cairo. Pampered like never before. So much attention to detail. It’s the small things that count. Rarely do I experience such exquisite service in Egypt.

5 stars for the staff mainly; the managers, the supervisors, and servers; all have GREAT "can-do" attitude; willing to help at any time with almost any request. A couple of suggestions: please ban smoking indoors; the smoke from the public areas seeps into the eating places making them unpleasant. Also limit little brats access to some areas of the pool, jacuzzi, and restaurants. It is hard to find a nice hotel in Egypt with complete no smoking indoors, adults only and better design! that would be a true 5 stars!

Ideal getaway for those looking for a luxury hotel with impeccable service. Their wet amenities of pool, outdoor hot jacuzzi, chilled water tub and indoor heated pool are more than sufficient. Their spa and massage treatments are more than fine. The Singaporean restaurant is a must try. The lobby bar with the piano is a good spot for a talk over drinks with your good people. The staff is their main point of strength in my opinion, cheerful, decent and very professional. Don't expect average prices, the St. Regis Cairo is considered a luxury hotel and charges accordingly.

I stayed here weekly for a couple of months last year on business. I can understand how guests staying for a shorter stint would enjoy the service, and all in all the facilities are the nicest in Cairo. However, the butler service is excessive. I had all kinds of interruptions from butlers, e.g. ringing the doorbell at 1 AM to "introduce themselves", walking into the room without permission when my guest was sleeping to do who knows what, knocking consistently while I was in videocon meetings "to check everything was OK". The service was frankly irritating and the main downside of staying at hotel. All other staff were great, especially the restaurant service.

Picture perfect hotel, it was my first night in Cairo, and I didn't even realize at the time how good I had it. Compared to other properties, even other Marriott group properties this one is above and beyond on food and service. Location is beautiful, they awarded me early check in and late check out. As a Titanium Elite they upgraded me to a beautiful room, though I did use a suite night award for it, but it was epic. Room service was very nice, indoor pool and outdoor pool very nice. Indoor pool is amazing just beautiful, feels like your swimming somewhere very unique. The spa facilities can use also the sauna, jacuzzi (many options) overall a great hotel, and would definitely stay again in Cairo. Wish I stayed longer.

Just incredible service and location. Breakfast is amazing and the service everywhere is top notch. My only feedback would be that the non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. They did come spray and help remove the smell but it's obvious that many people don't abide by the rules.

Hotel is beautiful. Tours are cash only and nowhere to get money exchanged. False smiles. Edit - don't get me wrong. This hotel is amazing. Beautiful breakfast bar. Great restaurants. Wonderful pool and lounges. Superb apartment units worth the upgrade.. Staff outstanding... except twice with excursion tour bookings. The management went out of their way to rectify. This hotel is still on my A list. I recommend this hotel and would return.

The St. Regis provided not only the best service during my month long stay in Egypt but some of the best service I’ve ever had a. Hotel. I was worried taking my two children, aged 2 and 4, to a prestigious hotel but they made their entire trip memorable. I highly recommend the breakfast with breathtaking views and all their recommendations were spot on! Egyptian hospitality is world renowned and you won’t find a better example then at this hotel! If your lucky enough to meet Asala during your stay, you’ll know exactly what I mean! Thank you for making our trip a memorable one, it won’t be long till we are back!

Amazing stay that was ruined in our last day… We have had a great time at The St. Regis hotel with outstanding decoration and service. However, to our disappointment, my friend was robbed! We have contacted the manager countless times and they have promised to contact us after checkout. Guess what? They have ghosted us. Our trust in this hotel is diminished after this experience.

No idea how this is considered a St. Regis hotel. I attended a Ketb Ketab there. Sever passed around appetizers without napkins or plates for guests. The chairs at the venue were filthy, you could visibly see the stains. And they charged me 200 pounds for parking. I would not recommend.

The service is out of this world. They are invisible but are there right away when you need assistance. I used my “suite nights” and loved the two bedroom apartment but I have small buyer’s remorse because the apartments are a separate tower from the typical suites and we only need/used one bedroom. They recognized titanium status with free buffet breakfast and even laid out flowers and a chocolate cake to celebrate our honeymoon. Thanks Everyone!

ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS in Egypt. Superior service, very luxurious, professional staff. I can't speak highly enough of Miss Asala, she is so professional. She helped us with the reservation and always checked on us during our stay. Miss Monica always welcomes us with a big smile at the amazing restaurant for breakfast. All you need in 1 place: Kids club, indoor and outdoor pool, butler service, absolutely perfect location, and the extremely amazing staff

We went to the spa for a day, it's very nice, the indoors heated pool was perfect. Pros: - Access to the indoor and outdoor heated pools. - The water temperature is amazing, set to 40°c - You don't need anything to go, this give you towels robes slippers everything you might need. - Healthy fruit and nuts are always on offer as well as detox and bottled water. The ginger tea is amazing. Cons -The heat in the pool starts cooling off after 5. -The area the pool is in inst heated so getting out of the water is a cold affair. -One of the 2 jacuzzi seats doesn't work, so if it's busy you might have to wait for a turn. -Also you have zero control over any temperature or intensity in the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

My husband and I took a two day trip to Cairo to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff at the St. Regis was phenomenal, very attentive, helpful, and paid attention to detail. They surprised us with a decorative room along with a cake and some treats. Dinner at the J&G was exquisite and the decorations in the hotel were stunning. I am a Marriott Platinum Elite and travel frequently with the brand. I can tell the difference between bad, good, and very good across the Marriott properties. I can say that this property is outstanding.

Amazing property. The staff was attentive and did everything within their power to make our stay perfect, basically whatever was asked of them. They hosted an awesome wedding for our friends as well. I really can’t say enough about this place, it was very high end and everyone who worked here was super friendly and accommodating, the St Regis Cairo in my opinion is the pinnacle of hospitality

Would give 7 stars if I could! Service is the best I’ve ever had in a hotel room. Spectacular is the word. Super rooms, so clean, amazing layouts and brilliant extras. Only recommendation would be for butler service to maybe not check in so much. Appreciate they want to help but it became a little overkill. Otherwise would stay here every time I could!

We enjoyed our trip at the St. Regis Cairo. The room was luxurious, beautiful and very clean. The food at their restaurant was fantastic. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, from the front desk staff to the restaurant were great. The best employee we met was our room attendant Ms. Hind (الانسة هند). She was great and her smile never left her face. She was courteous, professional and caring. When learned that we did not feel well, she went out her way to make both my wife and I feel comfortable. She is a superlative 10 and deserves a great big thank you for her wonderful service

The hotel smells fantastic. The lobby is very nice. The rooms are perfect and the bathroom is super. The view is nice and the reception are very professional. The only drawback is they don’t have a water rinser in the toilet although we are in Egypt and this is important.

I was there during the pre-opening period. I did not stay to this place because I was working there as a capacity of Chief Butler. But still I would like write few words about this place that this place one of the wonderful product offer in Entire Cairo with beautiful Nile views restaurants, rooms and pool. Another best part of this place is the beautiful people who all are working to make your stay truly memorable as they were trained with highly skilled managers. One of the best USP of this place is customised butler services which is offered to each and every guest. I wish this beautiful property and people successful coming days ahead. Time is tough but you all will rock for sure. Inshallah

Gorgeous hotel. Very elegant, stylish and modern design. The Staff are friendly and always ready to help. There are different restaurants in the hotel serving different types of cuisine. There's an American restaurant, Italian restaurant and Singaporean restaurant. My husband and I spent 4 beautiful nights there and we look forward to visiting again.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the lobby and lounge is stunning. The rooms were also big and very nice. There isn't so much around the hotel but it's a quick drive or nice walk along the Nile to Zamalek and easy to take Uber around the city. Would highly recommend.

WOW!!! Over the top luxurious!!! However, note that there are only partial views of the Nile. Only the apartments have full view. This is the best hotel in Cairo.

Overall Issues: - Terrible dining experiences- (wait times, inattentive wait staff, lack of basic etiquette, multiple mistakes each day on almost every order I place). It got to the point where I just stopped complaining about getting incorrect orders. Please see item ‘1’ below for details. - Frustrating communication- (dining, spa, trying to get ahold of reception, being transferred to multiple departments for simple requests, perpetual misunderstandings from hotel team on requests, having to speak with 6 different people to update a dinner reservation and repeat information multiple times, phone in bathroom rings instead of phone in bedroom when people reach out from hotel) -Inappropriate and unprofessional staff behaviour- (Example: male server made comment to me about my appearance when I was in the pool area. It made me extremely uncomfortable and is unprofessional. People shouldn’t make comments about other people’s looks, even if it’s a “compliment.” I left the pool area after this. - Bad check-in experience: Bug in bed of first room, moved to different room late at night that smelled like smoke and was loud, moved to another room that clearly hadn’t been fully cleaned for a guest- (dust in bathroom, hair and debris on carpet, phone was sticky). Note: After trying to contact the front desk from the second room I was in with no response, I had to walk downstairs to speak with them since they weren’t answering the phone. -Guest WiFi constantly disconnects.

Stayed here 4 days in July in a suite. Large, pretty new hotel on the west bank of the Nile with beautiful but rather ostentatious decor. Air conditioning is very effective, internet speed is ok-sufficient for streaming and video teleconference. Staff friendly and speak good English. Nice breakfast buffet at the 'Italian' restaurant (Laziz) with ample selection of fresh international and local foods. Gym is clean but surprisingly small & limited in number and type of equipment; pools are not really up to par: the one at the terrace level is rather more of a wading pool of small dimension moreover infested by children, while the larger indoor pool also isn't available much of the time. The 'Chinese' restaurant is a bit mediocre, aside from the Peking duck.

After a long day of exploration, it’s so rejuvenating to be welcomed back to such a great site. All the staff I encountered were personable & eager to assist. This site is filled with premier restaurants that are worth trying; the spa is amazing also. The pricing is premium but well worth it. Will be back!!

I’m out of words. The hospitality and organization was amazing. I got in at 7 am. I was accommodated in right away. I asked if I can have breakfast that day instead of next morning and they made it happen. I felt as if they were waiting on me and expecting my visit. In the evening cake, flowers and Dessert were in my room for my anniversary. It was nothing short of an astonishing visit. They did everything I asked for and beyond. Truly thank you so much. I will definitely be back again.

We were greeted with the warmest smiles & staff upon entry. Mohsen Amin, our butler was excellent & went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed or desired. He made the stay and absolutely joy quite honestly. Housekeeping ensured the room was tidied and smelling amazing after a long day out. Mohsen even setup a bubble bath & birthday cake surprise for arrival return. I thank Mohamed Youssef Amira and Mohamed fahmy

Great location. Staff are professional and tactful, greetings you all the way. There are plenty of choices for breakfast, including sushi. The room decor is down to details with a touch of Egypt culture. Really recommend
