The
hotel
wasn't
as
expected.
It
isn't
bad
but
it
isn't
that
great
either.
The
room
was
of
decent
size.
I
booked
the
single
room.
However,
they
don't
have
anything
in
the
room.
No
fridge,
kettle,
hair
dryer,
and
the
only
towel
is
a
really
small
one
that's
sufficient
to
wrap
around
your
head.
The
room
cleanliness
is
acceptable
and
the
toilet
is
clean.
The
location
itself
is
fantastic
but
the
building
is
very
rundown.
It's
in
downtown
Cairo
so
there
were
many
shops
around
and
food
was
within
reach.
Thankfully,
my
room
was
facing
the
back
alley
so
it
wasn't
noisy.
There's
also
a
power
outage
everyday
from
3
to
5pm.
So
if
you
happen
to
come
back
to
the
hotel
between
these
timings,
you'll
have
to
take
the
very
rundown
and
scary
staircase
to
the
6th
floor.
The
entrance
to
the
hotel
is
terrifying
too
but
once
you
reach
the
6th
floor,
it
isn't
terrifying
anymore.
The
elevator
is
very
old
too.
It's
the
kind
where
you
have
to
manually
open
the
gate
and
the
door
to
get
in
and
out
of.
Sometimes
it
wouldn't
work
properly
and
would
be
stuck
between
floors.
Internet
wise,
it's
actually
decent
and
fast.
Overall,
it's
quite
a
decent
place
to
stay
but
just
don't
expect
much.
The
service
is
good
though
and
they're
quite
friendly.
