Not very impressed with this hotel. The staff were nice but we felt the rooms weren’t very clean, we hadn’t been provided towels and the ones we were given didn’t even seem clean. The bed sheets weren’t great and the rooms were dingy and full of mosquitos - we were covered in bites after one night. Breakfast was included but in a three night stay we only got breakfast once - and it was pretty poor at that. Cheap and in a good location in down town Cairo - but it’s right beside a nightclub, so expect a LOT of noise until at least 3am every night.

The only true part about such lodging place is the staff's friendliness. Other than that, this is an awful place to stay. I can't say how disappointing it was to even spend one of the four nights we reserved at this place. I left as soon as I could and moved to a true hotel in Cairo so I could, at least, enjoy my time in the city. Breakfast sucks. The bathroom floods when you take a shower, and I strongly recommend you not to open your window unless there is an emergency.

The staff of the hotel starting from the one who is answering the phone calls to the receptionest ppl. I called them from another governanate to reserve a room and they told me its done and reserved to you, i told them my expectations of arriving at 6:00am they told me no issues. So, When i arrived the hotel they asked me about the Passport and then they told we are sorry we can't give you any room here because you are from Cairo.!!!!! Note: i told them that over the phone i'm coming from Sohag and i have no place to go. at the last they didin't gives me any room. The point is why they didn't mention any of this information over their site or to make a recap with the customer over the phone about his/her information before they get them over the hotel then they told them this information by a very cold way.

Ah what can I say lol we read the reviews thinking it's pretty awesome as the reviews have said, but for me with a fancy taste and a peasant budget 😀 it's not. The entrance isn't nice at all, feels like you are walking into a building not a hotel especially called paradise.

The pictures online are misleading. Not all the rooms look that great. You get what you pay for. Tiny bathrooms, tiny rooms! No designated showers. Broken parts in the bathroom. Nevertheless, staff are great and there to help. My first room AC wasn’t working immediately they gave me a different. Definitely 1.5-2.5 star hotel. The building is old and the elevator is so scary! If you just want somewhere to sleep without fancy stuff - this is great.

First night, shower wasn't working. Second night, AC wasn't working, tv wasn't working. Those are facts, not opinions. Regarding to my opinion,ni could add that rooms are tiny and dirty, staff is helpless.

The rooms are of different sizes with private bathroom. Cleaning service on request at reception. Breakfast has to be ordered at the reception and is sent to your room. Hotel is at the back of a big building on the fourth and fifth floor in the heart of downtown Cairo on a lively shopping street. Since the hotel is located a bit hidden in a back street, it is not loud. Comfortable and good compared to the many shabby hotels in Cairo. Good value for the price.

Hotel is fabulous and such a nice place. Rooms are clean. People are extremely nice. Most tourist places are very close. City life is just outside and very beautiful area.. you can look so many colourful lights and many people walking. Nice to see how Egypt is different.

The hotel wasn't as expected. It isn't bad but it isn't that great either. The room was of decent size. I booked the single room. However, they don't have anything in the room. No fridge, kettle, hair dryer, and the only towel is a really small one that's sufficient to wrap around your head. The room cleanliness is acceptable and the toilet is clean. The location itself is fantastic but the building is very rundown. It's in downtown Cairo so there were many shops around and food was within reach. Thankfully, my room was facing the back alley so it wasn't noisy. There's also a power outage everyday from 3 to 5pm. So if you happen to come back to the hotel between these timings, you'll have to take the very rundown and scary staircase to the 6th floor. The entrance to the hotel is terrifying too but once you reach the 6th floor, it isn't terrifying anymore. The elevator is very old too. It's the kind where you have to manually open the gate and the door to get in and out of. Sometimes it wouldn't work properly and would be stuck between floors. Internet wise, it's actually decent and fast. Overall, it's quite a decent place to stay but just don't expect much. The service is good though and they're quite friendly.

Though the location is perfect , and the rooms is big and most alright considering their prices, however the service needs improvement, and I would prefer that is made more organised

They overbooked and blamed us for not having a room for us. We expected to arrive at about 1am, but arrived at about 2am because our flight was delayed. They told us that it was our fault and our problem to deal with. They subsequently dumped my pregnant wife and I onto the streets with nowhere to go in the early hours of the morning.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! It is extremely dirty in the rooms, shower isn’t even a shower, everything is torn apart unlike the pictures, nothing is taken care of properly.

At first It was a bit difficult to find the hotel, but then i tried the road from the other side, and there it was. The room was ok as i was only for one night. I entered the shower , and the water took a while to become hot. Then i tried to combine it with the cold one, but it wasn't working. Soon, i realised that the toilet water was constantly running, and that was causing the issue. i opened the lid of the toilet flash and fixed (temporarily) the water stopper, so the cold water arrived at the shower. (By the way, the flash button was not working either, so i had to open the lid and pull the mechanism up by hand). Also, the window wouldn't close properly, and some flies and mosquitoes had managed to get in. Yet i slept very comfortably for about 11 hours, and it seemed like 11 minutes, as i had come from a long (previous) night journey by bus. The staff were kind, especially Ahmed (the student of Siberia) who tried to offer me a hot drink, but i had to pass it as i really needed to go to sleep, but thanks brother Ahmed. P.S. I did not inform the reception about the issues as i believe they already know about it, that's why the price is not so high. So, if you are happy with the price, then accept the package and DIY. :)

Very bad experience. I would never suggest this place. Rooms , washroom, corridor, lift service everything is so bad that i can't even explain. I stayed in one bedroom space and it was so small and congested that you can only walk to the from your bed, and no extra space around. And then the room is full of mosquitoes to bite you through the whole night. In my 3 days stay, on the very second day i had to change my room as when I came back in the evening and entered my room,..it was stinking so badly andas soon as I opened the washroom it was full of all septic and drainage wastes. And not the least to be mentioned the behaviour of the receptionist is very arrogant, rude and bad, specially the male receptionist during the evening. And if you order the breakfast you have to remind them atleast 3-4 times about your breakfast order otherwise the only thing only you get to listen is 'OKAY' each time. And they do not even give any water in your room. If you ask, they will charge extra, so better to buy your own from outside.

Many thanks to all the hotel staffs for your hospitality and good services like a family. It is worth to stay at that hotel. Safe and secure environment for all the visitors. I really recommend that as one of the best hotels in Cairo.

This hotel has a terrible staff starting with the lady on the phone to the guys in the reception, I called them to reserve a room and they promised me to get a special offer specially that I always stay at their hotel . And I arrived at 2 in the morning travelling from another governorate with my wife, the reception guys refused to give us the promised offer and the kept compromising about the price to take advantage of the situation. They even offerd us a room with a broken AC for half of the price . But we refused this way and leaved . Really really the WORST HOTEL EVER.

The hotel is tired looking in a very old building. The rooms are comfortable. The cost is cheap and you get your money's worth.i have a big room with a sofa, large fridge, wardrobe, dressing table, TV, balcony, air con and a decent sized bathroom. The breakfast was very nice, and was served in my room. This hotel is very good value. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. There is a lounge with a large tv, sofas and a balcony.

A good hotel in downtown Cairo The staff was very friendly, Amany, and Mr Mahmoud too The breakfast was a little bit poor Traditional Egyptian "fool", cheese, coffee and eggs An Old elevator working well with music while ascending The only negative point for me was that a big noise comes from the markets in the near street every night until 2 am Globally, it's a good accommodation near of everything: metro stations, train station, the Egyptian museum and the popular market "Ataba"

The location is awesome right in downtown Cairo. The service is so nice, people are around 24/7 here and give complimentary breakfast upon request in the morning. Sara at the front desk is so helpful. The hotel is charming, clean and I felt very at home while being in the city. The price of this hotel is unmatched. If you are okay with old charm then this is a great place to stay!
