3 stars only for price, and the staff unfortunately the place was very close to the train station in a very bad suburb in Egypt. As a tourist I would not recommend staying in this place as there are other similar hotels for around the same price in much better locations. The bed was dirty upon arrival with loose hair of other guests on pillows. There was only 1 towel in the room, there is no heating at all and the place is very cold. If you plan to sleep then forget it because the noise is unbearable, it feels as though you are sleeping on the street with the beeping of the cars and yelling of ongoing thoroughfare. The best part about this hotel was the food and the room service, for the price you pay the food is really outstanding, not to mention the hotel manager was very hospital and showed us many Different options of rooms that we can choose from.

Terrible. Do not waste your time. It is filthy dirty, always noisy from trains and traffic, staff don't help with anything, most don't speak English and it's not worth it

No wifi, no heating, very noisy even in the "quiet" room. The service is great though, the manager, the lift boy, the restaurant people are extremely helpful, nice and polite. There are two restaurants with a view, the food and service are great, and it's very cheap.

BAD PLACE !! Very bad hospitality! we make a call asking for empty place and they answered that there is plenty of vacant rooms . When we went to there within 2 hours they emphasized the importance of 2-day-before reservations. I was completely uncomfortable.

Location is best in a very live area from Shoubra, I only go there for the rooftop there. Very good service with a reasonable prices.

In June/2018 I am and 06 friends of mine were in Ciao Hotel. It was a very and very good experience. Everything was fine. The manager (Mr. Joseph) and his employess were very kindly. Everybody could help us in our dificulties because we didn´t understant any word in Arabic. The hotel is a familiar, lovely and nice place to stay in Cairo during business or family travels. Kisses and kisses for everybody. God blessed you!

I would highly discourage foreigners to stay here! My stay was sus from the beginning but I stayed because of the location. I regretted the decision when the elevator guy tried coming into my room at 6am. The owner and manager and reception argued that it was a mistake when I brought it to their attetion. Even after watching the security cameras. Just stay safe and stay somewhere else!!! Fr
