Our family had a fantastic stay for three nights at Le Riad Hotel. Mr. Ahmed took excellent care of us and was wonderful to chat with. The rooms are all individualized, each with its own character and personality. The location is lively in the heart of Khan el Khalili and in the oldest street in Cairo. We will definitely stay there again when back in Egypt!

The room is an apartment made of a living room, a wardrobe room, a sleeping room with a huge and comfortable bed. Antique furniture and a wonderful ambience. The roof restaurant with terrace has a fantastic view over Cairo. The service and attention to the guest so exceptional that they preview your desires even. Location within the antique walls of Cairo between medieval mosques and buildings. Security 100% even at late night. A experience I recommend and I will not miss to stay there next time coming to Cairo.

Mold and water damage in the room. Painting the walls while guests are checking in. Elevator in half floors and carrying one's bags. Offers PCR testing then rescinded the offer because the tour company was losing money over the PCR testing for the next part of the tour. No luggage storage if returning from another city in a few days.

The hotel is beautiful and truly feels one of a kind. We got in extremely early and left extremely early and the staff was so kind on both ends. Sabry truly made us feel welcome. Breakfast in the restaurant upstairs is a must! The food was incredible and authentic. We had Mahmoud as our server both mornings we got breakfast here and he was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and quick. Being in the bazaar is amazing and in general the location is wonderful but it really is mainly a pedestrian area so getting picked up and dropped off felt like we were disturbing the streets, if we weren’t with a tour group and were ubering I’m sure this would’ve been a bigger negative.

If you search for a place where it takes you back 200 years in history of Cairo, wants to live between locals and real life of Egyptian and sleep and eat delicious food so I recommend this hotel

The hotel is beautifully presented. The food was tasty, and the breakfast, in particular, was amazing. The only downside was the street market noise going well into the night but were supplied ear plugs.

I had dinner at their rooftop restaurant Zeeyara. I would like to thank the chef for the amazing food. The staff were very friendly and helped us decide what to order. The location is a bit hard to reach but if you ask around you wont get lost. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this hotel! The location is at the center of the bazaar, you exit the hotel right into the center of the bazaar. The rooms were beautiful, you have a living room, huge bathroom and the beds were comfortable. Definitely try the restaurant on the rooftop, eating delicious food while watching the pretty view. The hibiscus drink was also really good. We had to check out extra early and the front desk arranged for us to receive a boxed breakfast. After overindulging on the delicious food on the rooftop, we walked off the food in the bazaar😆

Beautiful maintained historic monument. This hotel is so gorgeous and spacious despite being in a very crowded market area! Don’t let the book be judged by its cover

I visited Le Riad Hotel when booked Zeeyara restaurant. The interior design and decor is really creative and wonderfully executed. Every floor has its own colours and design. The lounge area is cosy and felt like being home. Thanks Yasser for welcoming us on the entrance and say goodbye too.

The location is perfect in the heart of Old Cairo that represents the beating pulse of Egypt. Rooms are unique in their themes. Roof is very nice with friendly service, specially *Sameh* he is very helpful and nice. Also hotel is a walking distance from Khan el Khalil, the icon of Cairo. All in all, it is an amazing boutique hotel and much recommended :)

A charming property in the old town in Cairo. The location is the BEST- right in the middle of the old bazaar. Each suite in the property has a unique character and is comfortable, the tea lounge is beautiful. It’s a boutique stay. Cary your own dental kit to Egypt as the hotels in Egypt do not provide one. The rooftop restaurant is a complete vibe! And their countryside breakfast is yummmm!!!!

Location is in old Cairo, that for me was an eye opener. I had been staying in new Cairo which although developing is beautiful. We had dinner on the rooftop. Service was fine. I totally disliked my order of sausage pie. That did not do any justice to my taste buds. I love the interior and what they've done to the decor on each floor. In all, I loved it.

I don't know about rooms but it is amazing as it is positioned in the middle of AlMoez street. At night, it too much. They have a great taste for music but around it, it's too loud. So the restaurant is amazing but at night, I don't recommend the open air area. Although, it's noisy, it's beautiful and the view is worthy.

A real blast from the past … amazing … authentic and very unique hotel with 17 suites each one is different that the other and tells different story … ana amazing fine dining restaurant on the roof top and just wonderful staff … very recommendable

Absolutely charming hotel! Everyone was wonderfully helpful and the rooftop restaurant was amazing (the lamb chops are to die for!). Careful with Ahmed at the front- he's a bit of a practical joker. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All in all I would highly recommend staying here. Two caveats: this is not your typical hotel. If you're looking for a cookie cutter hotel, this isn't it. You'll feel like you're staying in the oldest part of Cairo, because you are, and it can be wonderful but not for everybody. Uber had trouble finding the location. As it's off the main roads, Uber rerouted us to the closest main street which was about 5-10 min walk.

Incredible experience staying at Le Riad in January 2022. My son and I had a wonderful time walking all around Khan-el-Khalili and historic Moaz Street. The hotel staff make you feel special, everyone knows who you are once you check-in. Very few rooms, each one decorated individually with authentic antiques. The only hotel in this special location. We looked over El Moaz Street from our mashrabeya balcony at all hours day and night. AMAZING!

We had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly and the room was lovely. Some parts are a little outdated, but that’s the case with many locations in Egypt. We found it charming. Location is wonderful as well, and the room is remarkably quiet considering how noisy the streets are outside.

The restaurant on the roof named Zeeyara has very delicious and different food that you will not find in the area, it really deserves a try

A magnificent spot in Fatimid Cairo. Very lively location. Noisy 24/7 :). The rooms are very nice. The roof top restaurant serves authentic Egyptian food. Staff is friendly especially Mr. Mohamed the general manager.

Great hosts, beautiful hotel, I felt like I was traveling back in time. Festive neighborhood not sure if it is always festive or because it was Ramadan.
